People love you cuz you're entertaining, dramatic and theatrical. (True, some Leos are shy.) You have a distinctive, sporty style and are generous and fun-loving! (You hate cheapskates.) You like animal prints, chunky jewelry, and often wear your hair back off your forehead - like a lion's mane. You're a natural teacher and leader. You enjoy movies, the theatre and sports. You spend big but you can save if you must. (Must we?) You're a big time romantic. (You invented Valentine's Day.) You are honest, bossy and a bit na?ve because you always believe in the goodness of others, especially your friends.
Everybody's Got a Past
The time around1991 was significant for you, mainly because you survived! Fortunately, that year Jupiter entered your sign and life became easier; plus you got recognition for your past efforts, which was cool.
The early 90s were positive for you because you expanded your family through marriage, birth or adoption during that time. You began to hit your stride around 1999, when you entered a time of harvest when all of the seeds that you previously planted came to fruition. Most of these produced wonderful results! Naturally, a few failed.
By 2004, you began letting go of people, places and possessions because you were heading for a new sandbox, which began around 2005-06. In this new sandbox, you completely redefined yourself by 2012! Many of you improved your job around 2008 and subsequently made a fabulous impression on others in 2009. Around 2011, travel was thrilling. You put your name up in lights in 2012! People noticed and admired you then!
In 2016, lucky Jupiter returned to your sign bringing increased contentment and happiness along with opportunities! Last year, increased responsibilities with children were in the picture but you remained positive and upbeat. In fact, your positive approach to life is one of your great strengths.

Money, Job, Status
Everything to do with your job and your daily tasks will be productive in 2018. Why? Because it is obvious that you are going to be busting your buns! For whatever reason, you have decided to give everything your all, which means you will work hard for the results you want.
You will be particularly hard working between May and November. In fact, you will work so hard you might become judgmental of coworkers and think that they are slackers. It would be wise to rethink this before you judge them, or worse yet, say anything to them, because they do not have the motivation to work as hard as you do this year. It's that simple.
You are involved in something where you will take considerable pride in your work. Furthermore, Mars is going to pump you with energy and motivation! But - you will want credit for what you do, which means this is not exactly your year to be a team player.
So --you will delegate! It's as if you feel that your effectiveness as a human being is being tested. Furthermore, you also have a feeling that you're preparing for your debut (and in fact, you are) - and that you have to do everything you can in order to get ready.
At times, you might feel that the demands of your work are overwhelming. Fear not. You are up to this challenge! Nevertheless, treat your body like a tool that has to be well cared for because you need a strong body to keep up this pace.
Those of you who are involved in real estate will do well. You can make money from real estate investments or from buying and selling real estate. Profits from food-related businesses will be strong. In addition, all family and home businesses will thrive and expand this year!
All Your Relationships
It's not easy to say what might transpire for relationships for your sign this year because you are unusually focused on your work. There are certain tasks that you want to achieve and these will be time-consuming. However, it is possible that singles will meet someone through work. And likewise, it's possible that you could meet someone through a family member because that area of your life gets a wonderful, positive boost!
An important warning for you dear Leos: from May until November will be a testing time for your closest relationships and partnerships because Mars will be opposite your sign for most of that time. This is most unusual!
Typically, Mars is opposite your sign for only six weeks, once every two years. So yes, you will notice this! And so will those who are close to you! This is because when Mars is opposite your sign, you are annoyed with others. This can make you difficult to live with. You will resist compromise and you will easily complain.
Fortunately, you can also use this energy of Mars is in a positive way! You can consciously work on these close relationships once you realize what is happening. It's helpful to remind yourself what would you lose if that person were gone?

January
You begin this year with a desire to get better organized and be efficient. You're setting high standards for yourself. Naturally, you want to clean up your health as well, especially after dabbling in some fun debauchery over the holidays. (You know who you are.) But you are now busy on all fronts! Mucho activity on the home front and within your family! Be patient with family members. Spend time reading, writing and playing games, especially ones that require mental agility because this will please you. You're feeling prankish!
February
Some tension on the home front is still simmering. Once again - be patient with loved ones. This month your primary focus is definitely on close friendships and partners. Lots of conversation. Lots of good feelings too, because fair Venus is opposite your sign. Children might be an increased responsibility now.
March
This is a passionate, intense month! Physical intimacy will be memorable because you are really turned on. (Big time!) On a more prosaic note, you will also focus on debt, taxes, bills, inheritances and insurance issues at this time. But it's a good time financially and money can come to you. You can also benefit through a third-party or a partner. Mars sure makes you want to party in March!
April
Grab every chance to travel because you need a change of scenery this month. The warmer weather makes you want to explore your turf. Publishing, courses at colleges and universities, the media, medicine and the law offer opportunities for you now. Relations with a boss or a VIP are warm and cozy. Mercury Retrograde in 2018
Mercury retrograde occurs three times a year. This is when Mercury appears to go backwards in relation to planet Earth. (In reality Mercury always moves forward.) During these so-called retrograde times, the areas that Mercury has domain over inexplicably suffer from errors and delays. The errors are small but frustrating!
Mercury has domain over everything that moves forward:
- all forms of ground transportation, (cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, buses, taxis, trains)
- the mail, parcels, packages (Post Office plus Courier and Delivery Services)
- communications - email, social media, phone calls, conversations
- it also includes daily living (the people we encounter, the items we deal with, the transactions we make and how we relate to others.)
During Mercury retrograde, all the areas under the domain of Mercury tend to go "backwards." They certainly have trouble going forwards. We can expect transportation delays, missed buses and car breakdowns. Mail will be late or lost, daily items that we handle like keys and papers will be misplaced; and communications with others will be confused and misunderstood. Plus people from our past will pop up into our lives. ("Boris?" "Natasha!")
However, we can make good use of Mercury retrograde times to finish things, study the past, do research and reflect. But do not open a business or begin new projects. Mercury retrograde is also a bad time to buy cars, trucks, bikes, computers, printers and phones.
The dates below are the actual retrograde dates plus the buffer times. This is because Mercury starts to slow down before it goes retrograde. Then afterwards, it needs more time to catch up to where it was at when it first went retrograde.
The craziness (delays and errors) is most pronounced during the actual retrograde time. However, if you are buying a big ticket item like a car or a computer, I recommend that you play it safe and avoid these purchases during the buffer times as well. You'll be glad you did.
