A little "plan ahead" tip? Mother's Day is on Sunday, May 11; and for those who are planning a special occasion, be aware that this particular day is a bit crunchy and people will be easily annoyed. (Gulp.) Therefore, you might consider rescheduling a special lunch for another day? Meanwhile, Monday is a lovely day to get new projects off the ground. The rest of the week has romantic energy, even a feeling of "It's our destiny." By the weekend, life is lower energy, and Sunday will have its challenges. Choose relaxation. Personally, I welcome relaxation because I live the way I type - fast and with lots of mistakes.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is a friendly, sociable week that begins on a playful, eager note. On Monday, you'll swing into work mode, which you'll be happy to do because you'll want to be as efficient as possible. In fact, not only will you want to be productive, you'll want to improve your health as well. By Thursday, your social vibes are primed; and Friday is a great day to party! Saturday also promises fun socializing with others. And as I mentioned above, Sunday is a bit dicey, especially with kids and romantic partners. Your main theme this week is a strong focus on money and how you earn your money. Whatever happens, with both Mercury and Venus in your sign, you'll be charming and talkative with everyone.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This continues to be a powerful time for you because the Sun is in your sign. You hold all the cards! Admittedly, fiery Mars could trigger tension with family members, especially parents. For many of you, Mars will also make you want to tackle home repairs and make home improvements. Take time out to schmooze and party during the first half of this week because you'll enjoy this. Your Taurus motto has always been: "Good food, good wine, good sex and a nice place to live." In fact, some of you are already dabbling in a secret love affair or an exciting flirtation. (You devil.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
In some ways, this is a low-key time for you because the Sun is hiding in your chart. One advantage of this is it will help you to get in touch with your own subconscious mind. This can be a learning experience, especially if you can discover how your actions are actually opposing your conscious intentions. In other words, you're being your own worst enemy! Meanwhile, your year is ending (as your birthday approaches), so this is the perfect time to look back over the past year. What changes do you want to make for your new year ahead? Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This continues to be a popular time with personal friends as well as groups and organizations. However, this is not the only advantage of your increased popularity. This is also a great time to work with others because group efforts will benefit you. Because your idealism is aroused, you might be more involved with charitable organizations. Meanwhile, at this time, favourable circumstances will benefit your business and professional life. You will attract people to you who can help you. (Admittedly, romance with a boss or a guide figure might also take place.) Someone will ask for your creative input about something.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Thank heavens fiery Mars is in your sign because you have so much to do right now -- and Mars, the planet of energy and ego -- will make you pumped! Mars will also trigger great activity in your life, as well as make you more of a fighter for your own rights. This increased physical energy is a bonus. (Lucky you!) The Sun is still at the top of your chart casting you in a flattering spotlight. (Another bonus.) Meanwhile, Mercury and Venus offer opportunities to travel, learn and meet people who are "different" - perhaps from another culture. These are exciting times for you, albeit busy times. Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Continue to do what you can to explore more of the world around you. Being a tourist in your own neighbourhood. The thing is to shake things up a little! Get out of your comfortable, velvet rut. Although you're concerned with finances and shared property - you're also reflecting on deeper thoughts that put your life in perspective. Hmmm.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
At this time, Mars is positioned in your chart in such a way that it encourages you to be diligent and accomplish much. In fact, your health is vigorous. You're working hard to achieve your objectives. New opportunities to be personally effective might open up for you. You're happy to work on your own; or you can work with groups. You'll be able to express your affection easily, and make your feelings clear to your partner. You will also understand the needs of others. Even relations with your enemies will improve! Ha!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Two opposing influences are at play this week: One influence (which is the Sun directly opposite your sign) means that you will need more sleep - more rest - because your energy will be flagging. This is a fact. Nevertheless, fiery Mars at the top of your chart, will ignite your ego drive, and arouse your ambition to achieve! This means you will work extremely hard at whatever you're doing because you will identify with your project. (Naturally, this can put you in conflict with coworkers who could feel threatened by your efforts to get ahead.) Fortunately, Venus will soften relations, especially with coworkers. In fact, Venus will promote agreements and discussions about how to get things done. Excellent!
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This is a productive week for you - no question. Ironically, not only are you working hard, and trying to be as efficient as possible; personally, you're giving thought to how you manage your life in general. You might want to examine and refine certain techniques so that you are getting the best bang for your buck, as it were. Physical efficiency will be a top consideration. Nevertheless, both Mercury and Venus will promote play, social diversions, a greater interest in the entertainment world, plus, fun activities with kids and romance! You'll pursue mental activities for their own sake, and not feel the need to justify everything you do with some practical motive. No guilt!
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Continue to do what you want as much as possible and set your own priorities. This is just fine. Get out and have a good time! In fact, you now have the opportunity to not only be yourself, but to become more conscious of who you are. This is quite a gift because after all, "Know thyself" is the lofty goal. Eh wot? Actually, this is timely because in a way, you are enjoying some intellectual withdrawal, so that you can reflect and think about different things. You might examine your personal and domestic life to evaluate whether or not your world is meeting your needs? If not, speak up, especially with family members or people you live with. Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
