All Signs
This week it will be easy to bite off more than you can chew. If you're ambitious and confident, you could be overwhelmed by an onslaught of work that suddenly presents itself. Fortunately, Wednesday is an excellent day to focus, concentrate and make important decisions. (Incidentally, in the midst of this busy week, Thursday is an inspirational gift! Full of imagination, creative visualization and dream goals! Who knew?) Meanwhile, today the Sun is changing signs, which means we're leaving something behind and moving to something new. (Generally, when one door closes, and another door opens, you're probably in prison.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Today the Sun moves opposite your sign to stay for the next four weeks. This is the only time all year this happens, and it means that the Sun is now as far away from your sign as it can get all year. (We're not talking 93 million miles. We're talking six inches on your astrology chart.) Nevertheless, because the Sun is your source of energy, this means you will be slightly weaker. Your energy will be somewhat flagging. Therefore, it's important to get more sleep in the next month. Go to bed. Ironically, increased chaos and activity on the home front will make demands on your time. One gift of this position of the Sun is that you will have more objectivity viewing your closest relationships. You will learn a lot.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
As this onslaught of work arrives this week, you will be more prepared for it than other signs. Why? This is because you are suddenly eager to work! You want to get things done. More than that, you want to work smart. You want to get the best results for your efforts, which is why you want to be efficient and effective. Not only will you be hands-on with whatever you do, you will be effective doing mental work as well because you will pay more attention to detail. It's also a good time to sit down with coworkers to solve problems. Because fiery Mars is in your House of Communications, you will identify with your ideas and be convincing!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You might have a few challenges this week because although the work will inevitably arrive, and this will make demands on your time and energy; nevertheless, as the Sun shifts signs today, it moves into the most fun-filled, playful part of your chart! Fortunately, this will give you opportunities to express yourself and have fun for the next four weeks, even if this week is busy. Grab every chance to amuse yourself! Accept invitations to party. Your attitude toward your relationships will be lighter because you feel happier. Ironically, you're still willing to work hard to boost your earnings, because you're spending money! Ka-ching!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You have a pleasant four weeks ahead because today the Sun moves into the part of your chart that is all about home and family. This suits you perfectly because at heart, you're a nester. This means that for the next month, you will focus on parents and family members more than usual. Family discussions will be important. Very likely, you will tackle some home repairs. But all is not work - oh no. Creative Venus wants you to play and express your creative talents! Expect love affairs, fun activities with children and exciting, creative diversions. Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is a busy week and the tempo of your days is accelerating! Suddenly, you have things to do, places to go and people to see. Many of you will be reading, writing and studying more than usual. Interactions with siblings, relatives and neighbours might increase. Short trips are likely. Redecorating and tweaking your digs to make them more attractive will appeal; plus, you might squeeze in some time to entertain at home. (This is likely because Jupiter is boosting your popularity this year.) However, do be aware that someone out there might not have your best interests at heart. If you suspect something fishy is going on - it is. Don't be naive.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You're prepared to work this week because you're focused on money and assets more than usual. Take inventory and figure out what you own and what you owe. Furthermore, take inventory of your possessions to see what is worth keeping because it enriches your life, or it helps you in some way versus what you might be keeping because you don't know what else to do with it. Lighten up if you can. Get rid of what you no longer use, need or like. Give it away, sell it, recycle it or turf it. You'll make your life easier. Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Today the Sun moves into your sign to stay for the next four weeks. This happens once a year and when it does, it's your chance to recharge your batteries for the rest of year. You will make an excellent impression on others because you'll project yourself with more energy. You will also have a great need to express yourself. Don't deny this. Find people who want to listen to you, especially because Mercury will also move into your sign, adding to your desire to talk, teach, lecture, market and sell. This is a powerful time because in addition to the Sun being in your sign, fiery Mars is at the top of your chart arousing your ambition. Now is the hour to get things done!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Today the Sun moves into a hidden part of your chart, which means that similarly, you will choose to "hide" or be low profile for the next four weeks. It's not that you're being antisocial. It's simply what you prefer to do. In fact, with Venus in your sign, you'll find it easy to be charming with everyone. But you will choose to do things at your own pace. Meanwhile, do note that this is an excellent week to buy wardrobe goodies for yourself. Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

This means that in the next four weeks, you'll be involved more not only with friends, but with groups, clubs and organizations. These friendships will be important to you. In fact, you will be most effective working with others or in a partnership at this time. (Keep this in mind.) Very likely, you'll be involved with younger people. However, this is an excellent time to examine the role that certain people play in your life. Remember that your friends can influence your future because they can influence your choices, which in turn, create your future. (Something to think about.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You have a lovely month ahead! Today the Sun moves to the top of your chart to stay for four weeks. This is something that can happen only once a year, and when it does, it symbolizes that you are being thrust in the spotlight of the Sun and this light is flattering! Say no more. This means that you don't have to do anything special, but people will admire you and think you're the cat's meow. Because this is an advantage for you - use it! Now is the time to go after what you want and advance your agenda. Don't hesitate to ask bosses, parents and people in power for what you want. Meanwhile, relations with friends and groups will be warm and supportive. In fact, a friend might become a lover.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
For the next four weeks, your desire to get outta Dodge will be strong. You want to travel! You want adventure! You want to see new places, discover new ideas and be inspired by whatever you encounter. You adore meeting new and unusual characters and this is what you can do whether you travel far, or you explore your own neighbourhood.
