The overall tone of this week is about working together, pooling resources and helping each other. This includes group brainstorming and all aspects of teamwork. In a timely way, this cooperative vibe culminates with Thursday's New Moon, which happens to line up with fair Venus - ruler of relationships. "But soft! What news from yonder Tinder breaks?" For many this is an opportunity for a new romance! Count on the fact that the seeds that are planted this week can grow into a loving, emotional, compassionate support system with someone. If you want to be adored - be adorable. If you want to be loved - be lovable. Or you can also be yourself and see how your luck holds.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is a fabulous week to socialize! You're friendly and eager to meet new faces and see new places. Try to take a short trip because you'll love talking to others, especially younger people. Basically, you have a warm feeling in your tummy. You appreciate your surroundings and feel fortunate. Because of your good feelings, people will be drawn to you. You're also full of clever ideas, which is one reason you might take a class or learn something new. You might write. It's a strong time for those in sales, marketing, teaching and acting. With Mars in your sign, you have high energy, confidence and optimism! (This sounds like a sales pitch.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You have a strong focus on money, cash flow and earnings this week, which is no surprise because you are full of moneymaking ideas! Not only that, you will attract money to you. Because of the circumstances, many of you will shop for something that pleases you - perhaps antiques, collectibles or art. (You have a discerning eye and you're a collector.) However, at a deeper level, some of you will take some time this week to think about your values. In other words, what really matters in life? What do you want for yourself? Thursday's New Moon is the perfect time to think about what you want in practical terms and what is really important to you. This matters.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
It's your birthday, which is why you're raring to go! This week the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and the New Moon on Thursday are all in Gemini. These odds favour you! This is the perfect time to take a realistic look in the mirror and ask yourself what you think about the image you create on your world. Should you change something? Shoes? Wardrobe? Hair? Thursday's New Moon is an excellent time to plan this. Tweak the impression you create! This same New Moon will attract romance and warm relationships to you. New love or new friendships will enrich your life. And with your ruler Mercury in your sign, you've got lots to say!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Expect a mix of influences this week. Mars high in your chart indicates that you're revved up and ambitious! You're prepared to go after what you want. Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is a popular week! Not only will you enjoy the company of younger people, you'll also be attracted to creative, artistic individuals. (The talents of others can leave you breathless.) The reason this is such a popular time for you is the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and this week's New Moon are all sitting in your House of Friendships. This will attract new friends into your world. You will also enjoy getting together with old friends and staying in touch. Likewise, it will encourage you to join or be part of groups and organizations. It's the perfect week to think about your hopes and dreams for the future and how you can bring them from the abstract into the concrete (or bark chips, if you prefer).
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This is an amazing time for you because there's a gaggle of planets at the top of your chart - the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and this week, the New Moon! Astrologers refer to the Moon and the Sun as planets because it's easy. (But we do know better.) This is a very "public," high-viz influence, which means you look charming, tactful, successful and affluent. However, the New Moon this week offers you an opportunity to think about your life direction and where you're headed. (This is the only time all year that the New Moon will take place at the top of your chart.) Therefore, take some time to think about what you want for yourself in the future.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You want to expand your world, learn new things and travel to new places. You have that feeling that "surely there's something exciting that I can do?" If you can't travel, take day trips and visit museums, art galleries and restaurants. Naturally, these are things you enjoy doing anyway but now you want to shake things up a little to feel you have more adventure in your life. Make an effort to learn and study something new because this is a rewarding time for you to expand your mind. One tiny caveat: fiery Mars is opposite your sign for the next few weeks, which might create tension with partners. Actually, this is a great training opportunity to develop patience.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

(Which, incidentally, actually occurred on October 26, 1881 and lasted one minute.) This week the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and the New Moon are all opposite your sign, which means you're giving a lot of focus to partnerships and close friendships. No question. Fortunately, because the New Moon is part of this passel of planets, you have an opportunity to see how you can improve these relationships. (Obviously, this means a way to change your own behaviour - not the behaviour of others.) But it will be worth it to get a better result!
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You're an industrious sign and willing to put up with discomfort to achieve your dreams. "There's gold in them thar hills!" But it's important to know when fortune favours you because this is certainly the case this week. Five planets are in your House of Employment, which will rev your engines. The Sun will make you focus on efficiency and effectiveness. You will strive to make every action count. And you'll derive satisfaction from doing things well. Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

On top of this, not only will you be drawn to fun interactions with others and socializing - romance will flourish! Fortunately, you're confident about making the first move or speaking up. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
While Virgo has a preponderance of planets at the top of their chart, you are just the opposite.
