All Signs
Two major thrusts of energy are at play this week. The first is that after some silliness on Monday, this week is about cooperation and working together. It's a time for teamwork and harmony, which is wonderful. (The great thing about teamwork is you can put the blame on someone else.) The other energy thrust will be a slow buildup towards Thursday's Full Moon (Wednesday night Pacific time.) This will be the only Full Moon in Libra all year, which means if we show irritation with others, we will quickly seek ways to make nice -- and be colour coordinated while doing so. Librans are fashionable people pleasers who like harmony and beauty in their surroundings. Oscar Wilde was a Libra, and his last words were, "Either that wallpaper goes, or I do."
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You're in a good mood this week because the Sun is in your sign along with lucky Jupiter. What's not to like? You'll be energized, enthusiastic and eager to do things. Admittedly, during the build up to the Full Moon on Thursday (Wednesday night Pacific time), you will feel increased tension with partners and close friends because this is the only Full Moon opposite your sign all year. Plus, Mars at the bottom of your chart will encourage chaos and confusion at home, which could create family tension. Nevertheless, this is nothing you can't handle with charm and skilful means. Think of your own happiness. You want to be happy - keep it that way.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Once again, mixed messages: The placement of the Sun makes you want to hide and be private. However, Mercury and Venus want you to get out and socialize! Go figure. This is why you will be like Jekyll and Hyde this week. Nevertheless, your communication skills are excellent! You'll be convincing, persuasive, to the point and clear, which bodes well for those in sales, teaching, marketing and acting. People will really listen and be affected by your words. (This is an advantage one does not always have, so use it wisely.) Be patient and forgiving with coworkers before Thursday's Full Moon.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Your popularity continues! This is a lovely week to schmooze and be active with groups. It's important to know your interactions with others will be mutually beneficial. In fact, someone might encourage you to make meaningful goals or refine your To Do list. Parents must be patient with their kids because the buildup before the Full Moon on Thursday could create stress in your relations with your kids. It will also create stress in romantic relationships. (This might be further complicated by a secret flirtation or hidden love affair.) Meanwhile, you're prepared to work hard for your money because you're spending it! (Should I use the word hemorrhaging?)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This is a powerful time for you because this is the only time all year when the Sun is at the top of your chart. (It's there for four weeks once a year.) This symbolizes that you have a spotlight shining down on you and the spotlight is flattering, which means others see you as super competent (even if you don't do anything different). Ergo, it's time to act. Use the magic! Do whatever you can to advance your agenda because others are impressed with you. Having said that, countering this favourable influence will be the Full Moon on Thursday, which pits the interests of home and family versus the interests of your career and public reputation. This might require kid gloves. Ya think?
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
The theme for this week is cooperation and teamwork, which will help you because both Mercury and Venus are at the top of your chart, making you skilful in how you negotiate with power types. (This includes Mom.) Make the most of this and use your influence wisely to benefit yourself and others. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the slow buildup of tense energy approaching the Full Moon on Thursday could create an accident-prone situation for you. Of course, that does not have to happen but do be aware of this. Guard against distractions. Pay attention to everything you say and do. In particular, avoid controversial, volatile subjects like politics, religion and racial issues - if you can.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You will enjoy teamwork and support from others, especially dealing with foreign countries and matters related to publishing, the media, medicine and the law. You will also get support dealing with issues about higher education. Friends and groups might introduce an element of competition, as well. Nevertheless, the Full Moon on Thursday this week can bring issues related to shared property, taxes, debt, inheritances and earnings to a head. The thing to know is that problems generally increase in intensity and complexity as the Full Moon approaches, and then after the Full Moon peaks, these same problems greatly diminish. Sometimes they even disappear! Poof!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
"Hello sunshine!" This week the only Full Moon in your sign all year is taking place. Because Mars is at the top of your chart, you're ambitious and will defend your best interests. Meanwhile Mercury and Venus will embolden you in financial negotiations, especially about getting money back from the government, getting a loan or decisions about how to divide or share something like an inheritance. Having said that, of course, the Full Moon in your sign could create a buildup of tension between you and partners, spouses and close friends. The solution is simple. Be patient. Don't overreact. "These are not the Droids you're looking for."
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This week you have the energy to study and explore new ideas either through travel or by expanding your knowledge through research and learning new things. (You love to do this.) Relations with partners, spouses and close friends will be warm and rewarding because both Mercury and fair Venus are opposite your sign. You will also find it easy to express your affection for someone and make your feelings clear. Even professional relationships will be more harmonious. However, the Full Moon this Thursday could create a buildup of tension with a coworker. The thing to know is that whatever bothers you will probably be history by the weekend. Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
