This will be a positive week, and people will be cooperative. "Work hard, party hard!" will be a timely theme because, October is the month to hustle. Who knows what awaits us once Mars goes retrograde at the end of the month? (And stays retrograde until Jan. 12th!) Unconsciously, we are attached to the aggressive force of Mars, which creates drive, ambitious energy and sexual desire. Mars wants victory and conquest. However, every two years, Mars goes retrograde for 12 weeks, which makes well-intended plans fizzle right before our eyes. Plus, plans we initiate when Mars is retrograde, tend to be dubious. "Dubious?" "Yes, dubious." "Do you mean dubitable or moot?" "Don't quibble, Sibyl."
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This week is about conversations and cooperation, which you will handle with grace, charm and patience. This is because the Sun, Mercury and fair Venus are all opposite your sign, which draws your attention to partners, close friends and members of the public. It's time to interact. And part of this interaction involves your ability to listen to what others have to say. Fortunately, Venus will grease the wheels of all your conversations, personal intimate and "everyday casual". You might even find ways to make peace with your enemies and resolve legal confrontations. Even though Venus and Mercury will soften your conversations, with your ruler fiery Mars in your House of Communications, you'll mean business! Go gently.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This is a positive week, and you find it easy to work. Mars is in your Money House for the rest of the year, which heightens your desire to work and earn money. (Actually, it makes your ego identify with what you own. If you own a lot, you feel that you are "worth" more as a person.) But of course, you are not your bank account. Nevertheless, this is why you have a driving energy this month to boost your earnings. Meanwhile, the Sun, Mercury and Venus are in your House of Employment, urging you to work hard for a sense of satisfaction and personal reward. You want to accomplish as much as possible and you want to do it with style. Fortunately, people are cooperating! A happy week!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
This is a happy, playful week! With Mars in your sign, you have high energy. You will enjoy physical activities, athletics and competitive interactions with others because you're pumped! Meanwhile, three planets are in the part of your chart that encourages exploring your creative potential. You want to have fun. Therefore, get out and socialize! Take a vacation. Enjoy the arts, the entertainment world. Meet a friend for lunch. Drop in for Happy Hour and catch up on the latest. Sports events and fun activities with children will appeal. See a movie, a musical performance, or enjoy the theatre. Hikes, picnics and barbecues will appeal if weather cooperates. You want fun times!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Your primary focus right now is on home and family. Some of you are more involved with a parent or an older family member. Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Instead, you want to pull back and mull things over. You want to avoid downtown rush-hour. You want peace and quiet, and a chance to enjoy harmony in your own private way. This is fine. It's important to recognize that this is a priority for you. Indulge your need for rest, quiet, contemplation and privacy. Go gently if you're involved in disputes about shared property, money, bills or jointly-held possessions. Your theme song this week is, "I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in."
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Friendships and interactions with groups and organizations are important to you this week. In fact, you will have a chance to examine the role they play in your life. Maybe you're attending something or being part of a group out of habit, or a sense of duty, but your heart is not really in it? Think about this. Maybe these are not your people? Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
