All Signs
This week the two celestial bodies that most affect our energy are changing signs. We're talking Mars and the Sun. Mars moves into Capricorn, which will boost the energy of the Earth Signs - Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. The Sun will move into Pisces, to boost the energy of the Water Signs -- Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. However, in broad terms, the shift of Mars and Sun will affect everyone. Read your sign to get a hint of what to expect in the next four weeks; but for a longer view, ponder the words of Randy Pausch. "The key question to keep asking is, 'Are you spending your time on the right things?' Because time is all you have."
Aries (March 21-April 19)
In the next four weeks, the universe will give you contradictory messages. Fiery Mars, your ruler, will be at the top of your chart, which means your ambition will be aroused! You will want to move ahead in your career, status and reputation. (Avoid being overbearing and domineering, especially with bosses.) However, a contradictory influence will be the Sun, which will be hiding in your chart encouraging you to get in touch with your subconscious mind. Your personal year is ending, which means this is the time to look back over the past year to see how well you are doing at the art of living. (Interesting combo.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You're entering a fascinating four weeks ahead! Mars will make you travel and explore the world. It will energize your desire to learn more by taking courses and getting further training. You will do things to expand your mind. While this is at play, the Sun will boost your popularity and encourage you to be more active with friends and also interact with clubs and organizations. It will be easy for you to work and cooperate with others. The next four weeks are perfect for team efforts. Therefore, grab every opportunity to socialize with others as well as study and learn new things because this is a what will give you pleasure and joy!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
For the next four weeks, the Sun will be at the top of your chart. This occurs only once a year. When it happens, it symbolizes that you are being thrust into a flattering spotlight, which means others (especially bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs) admire you! They see you as competent, capable and talented (even if you don't do anything special). Ah, the power of good lighting! This gives you an advantage over all the other signs. During this same window of time, Mars indicates you might encounter conflict about shared property, taxes, debt or how to use the wealth and resources of others. You might quarrel over an inheritance. On the upside, sex will be hot!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Mars is opposite your sign for the next month. This occurs only once every two years and when it does it's tricky because it can create tension in your life. It encourages conflict with those who are closest to you. It also makes you impatient with others because they seem to be annoying! However, at the same time, an entirely different influence from the Sun will be at play. For the next four weeks, you want to travel and broaden your horizons in every way possible by exploring new and unfamiliar experiences. This is a great window of time to study or take up a new hobby or intellectual discipline. You might also be concerned with legal problems. Be patient with loved ones and be open to learning something new.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You will accomplish a lot in the next four weeks because Mars will make you throw your energy into working hard and getting things done. You will take pride in how much you achieve and will feel pleased with yourself. Naturally, you will want credit for your accomplishments, which is why working alone will appeal more than working with a team. (Note: Guard against accidents, infections and fevers as Mars moves through your House of Health.) The Sun will encourage you to take a new course of study or a new hobby or do anything that expands your experience of the world. Travel will be ideal because you want to do something different from your normal routine.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
In the next four weeks, you need to pace yourself and be aware of your energy and your health. The reason for this is that the Sun will be opposite your sign, which means it is as far away from you as it gets all year (symbolically speaking) and this means you will need more sleep. Countering this however, fiery Mars will urge you to play, socialize extensively, party with friends and be active in sports as well as spend more time in playful activities with kids and artistic, creative adventures. Meanwhile, ex-partners and old friends are also back on the scene. Busy you!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
For different reasons, according to the personal details of your life, you have decided that you really want to pull your act together and get better organized in the next four weeks. This does not apply just to your job. It applies to every aspect in your world. You want your life to function more smoothly and run more easily. Great idea! Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Mars will create increased activity and chaos on the home front for some reason. This could be due to renovations, redecorating, visiting relatives - something. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
The next four weeks will be a lovely time for you. The Sun will encourage you to socialize with others. You will party more and explore the arts and appreciate the creative activities of others as well as find ways to express your own creative talents. Sports events and fun times with kids will appeal. Romance will flourish! The next four weeks are the perfect time for a vacation! Fortunately, Mars will give you the energy to be busy every day - physically and intellectually. This means you can handle all this new, fun activity. Furthermore, Mars will help you speak up for yourself! Oh yeah!
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Money will be a big focus for you in the next four weeks. This could be related to the fact that home, family and your private life will be a primary theme. You might be more involved than usual with a parent, for example. You might be more involved with relatives or family members you have not seen for a while. Home repairs and old domestic issues will need to be addressed. These might or might not be why you will try to boost your earnings. Very likely, this focus will be part of why you are spending more money as well. But your involvement with increased cash flow right now might also have something to do with boosting your ego. That's okay. Nothing wrong with a healthy ego!
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
The next four weeks will be fortunate for you! This is because the Sun will encourage all kinds of new activities for you. Suddenly, you've got things to do, places to go and people to see! The pace of your days will accelerate as you juggle short trips, appointments, errands and increased conversations with relatives plus more reading and writing. Yes, you're busy! Fortunately, like the cavalry to the rescue, fiery Mars will be in your sign as well during this window of time giving you a huge boost of energy! Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
