The heavens are mellow this week. The Sun and Mars are in Libra; Mercury and Venus are in Scorpio; Jupiter is still in its own sign Sagittarius, and Saturn is in its own sign Capricorn. Naturally, the Sun and Mars in Libra are a boost of energy wherever they occur; but that saucy combo of Mercury and Venus in Scorpio cannot be ignored! Nevertheless, anything that gives you a few tips to help prepare for your future is a good thing, no? It's also important to make time in your busy world to enjoy long romantic walks to the fridge.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
The main thing to be aware of this week is that the Sun and your ruler fiery Mars are opposite your sign. This draws your focus to partners and close friends. In particular, this position of the Sun gives you the best opportunity all year to have the necessary objectivity to see how you relate to others. It's a chance to improve your closest relationships and an opportunity not to be missed! Meanwhile, Mars will make you annoyed and impatient with others, which is why you experience tension and conflict. Fortunately, Venus will soften you and create cozy, sexual intimacy as well as attract money, gifts and goodies to you from others. Not too shabby!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
A quick glance at the planets in your chart reveals this is the time to get performance ready for next year because you're headed for a career peak. Meanwhile, Jupiter is beautifully placed so that you can get loans, mortgages and financial support from others. (And your partner is earning more as well!) Mercury and Venus are sitting opposite your sign, encouraging communication and friendly interaction with loved ones. (Nice.) Gemini (May 21-June 20)
In some ways, you are getting along with less this year because your partner is earning less. Ironically, many of you are also enjoying a better relationship with partners and close friends because you are mutually happier. (Gosh.) This week, both Mercury and Venus will promote excellent working conditions for you. Mercury makes you want to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on with whatever you're doing. Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Partnerships (professional and personal) have been challenging this year. Oh yeah. ((And it ain't over till the fat lady sings.) Meanwhile, you have had, and will continue to have, abundant opportunities to improve your job, your duties, your work surroundings, your relationships with co-workers or perhaps get a better job? Mercury and Venus promise playful diversions and romantic flirtations this week. (Don't sit home getting dusty.) Nevertheless, the Sun and Mars contradict these influences by appealing to you to cocoon at home and relate to parents. You might also need to stay at home to deal with crazy turmoil and increased activity that is taking place. Oy!
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
One rewarding feature this year is you have found it easier to work hard and apply yourself with focus, determination and energy. "I'm Paul Bunyan!" Fortunately, in the spirit of "work hard/party hard," Jupiter is giving you many opportunities to slip away on tiny vacations (and big ones as well) plus explore the arts, sports, fun times with kids and romantic opportunities. Both Mercury and Venus now encourage your interest in doing home repairs and redecorating as well as entertaining at home. "Welcome to my castle!" Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
It's curious, but many of you are wondering what you really want to be when you grow up, no matter how old you are. That's because this is a time of sober assessment. Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
This year you now that you want to secure your home base. Obviously, you need a refuge for yourself and your family. Therefore, focus on home and do whatever repairs are necessary. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
