All Signs
The movement of the Sun through the 12 signs each year is important. The energy source of the solar system is likewise the energy source of your chart. On Monday, the Sun moves into Leo to stay for four weeks. (This happens only once a year.) This Leo Sun will make the entire world have a stronger focus on children. It will also increase our fascination with the entertainment world, the hospitality industry and professional sports. The changing Sun always shows where we assert ourselves and stand up for our rights. It boosts our confidence and gives us hope. (Hope is the feeling you have that the feeling you have isn't permanent.) Meanwhile, I've been making the same mistakes for so long now - I've decided to call them traditions.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You are adventuresome because you want the thrill of discovery! Your pioneering nature makes you love camping and travel. You also enjoy creating something new, especially with your hands, which is why you are the artisan of the zodiac. All of these exciting, creative qualities that are the essence of who you are will be magnified with a boost of energy for the next four weeks. Wow! This is because the Sun will be sitting in the part of your chart related to the arts, creativity, children, vacations, the entertainment world, the hospitality industry and everything to do with love affairs and romance. Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You have faith in your tactile reality because you are the most tactile sign in the zodiac, which is why so many of you are massage experts. When you buy something, you invariably reach out and touch it, right? You think everyone does this - but they don't. Recently, increased activity and chaos on the home front have been challenging. Now the Sun moves to this part of your chart to stay for the next four weeks, which makes you want to enjoy your home and family scene. This will bring you opportunities to interact with a parent or an authority figure in the family. You will love to have a chance to cocoon and relax among familiar surroundings.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You are fast talking, fast thinking and fast-moving - sort of the butterfly of the zodiac. "Now you see me - now you don't!" In the next four weeks, this material aspect that is your nature will be heightened even more so because the Sun is going to be sitting in your "home" (which is the Third House). This will accelerate your daily pace! It will make you keen to talk to others, especially neighbours, siblings and relatives. You want to enlighten people and yet, at the same time, you want to learn more! This means you'll be running around enjoying short trips, visits with others plus reading, writing and studying. An exciting, fulfilling month ahead!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You are the feeler of the zodiac, which is why you are sympathetic with others. You want to nurture, mother and take care of them. "Do you have an umbrella?" "Do you want my gloves?" "Take the rest of these muffins home." Behind this warm concern for others is a need for stability and security. And behind your need for security, is your respect for money and property. You know that a roof over your head and being debt-free is the best security in practical terms - and you are a practical person. This is why you will give a lot of thought to your values in the next four weeks, especially values about how to run your life with the resources and money that you have.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Once a year, the Sun enters your sign where it stays for four weeks and that time has arrived! Yes, it's your turn to recharge your batteries for the rest of the year. Symbolically, (and in real terms), you will replenish, restore and rejuvenate yourself during this four-week window of time. Not only that, you will attract important people to you as well as fortunate circumstances. Quite likely, this is because with the Sun in your sign, you project yourself with more forcefulness than usual. You make a great impression on everyone! Along with this, fiery Mars is in your sign pumping your energy as well! Oh my - you're PowerPoint on steroids!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Because your birthday is approaching, this means your personal year is coming to an end. Therefore, for the next four weeks, the Sun will be waiting n the wings to enter your sign on Friday, August 23. Until then, it is hidden in your chart. This is why the next four weeks are the perfect time to cogitate, meditate and contemplate what you want for your new year ahead. How do you want your new year to be different from the year that is ending? Ideas? Is there something in particular you want to accomplish? If so, identify some goals, and write them down because this will help you make future decisions and give you a sense of purpose - especially if you're caught in someone else's tractor beam.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
In the next four weeks, you will be more popular and more involved with friends. You will also be more involved with clubs and associations. You might join a class or start a group! To begin with, you are the most social sign of the zodiac, and in the next four weeks, you will be experiencing one of the most social influences from the current placement of the Sun. It's a double whammy! This is also a propitious time to make long-range goals. Ideally, you can bounce your hopes and dreams for the future off friends to get their feedback. Why not?
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Once a year, the Sun sits at the top of your chart for four weeks - that time is now. Symbolically, this means the Sun is shining a light on you and casting you in a flattering spotlight, which in turn, means that others admire you even if you don't do anything special. In particular, bosses, parents and VIPs will be impressed. Obviously, this is a fantastic break for you and it gives you an advantage! Now is the time to make your pitch or ask for a raise or a promotion or approval for something. Nothing is guaranteed but you couldn't get better odds in your favour! Do something.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Sometimes the gods favour us and this is what is happening for Sagittarius right now. Why do I say this? It's because you adore travel. You are the traveller of the zodiac, which means you want to constantly explore other cultures, different cities, different forests, new beaches and exotic places that are thrilling and stimulating. Meanwhile, for the next four weeks, both the Sun and fiery Mars are in a part of your chart urging you to travel! It doesn't get better than this! Therefore, do everything in your power to travel and get further education. If you cannot travel, then explore your own back yard because there's so much to discover.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Long-term security is important to you, which incidentally, is a good thing because you are a long-lived sign. You are not casual about important matters that affect your wealth and security. Small wonder then that the next four weeks will be a time when you will have an increased focus on red-tape details concerning insurance matters, wills, estates, inheritances and the wealth of your partner or the wealth of someone else. This might even include the resources of someone else. Perhaps you will use something that someone else owns? Mars in this area indicates you might encounter disputes. Get ready. Meanwhile, ex-partners are back on the scene. Look sharp.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
For the next four weeks, the Sun will be opposite your sign; and this is the only time all year this happens. This polar-opposition placement immediately draws your focus to partners, spouses and close friends. No question. This is not surprising either because fiery Mars is also opposite your sign, which means disputes with others can arise now. (One is always less patient with others when Mars is opposite their sign. Plead the Fifth.) Remember that negativity is wanting things to be different than the way they are. Contentment is accepting things the way they are. This means you have a lot of control over your own happiness. Capisce?
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
You are entering a four-week window where you will work hard and party hard! Retrograde Mercury and Venus will encourage you to have good times, especially with old friends. Some of you will encounter old flames at this time as well. However, the stronger influence is on work and health. Both fiery Mars and the Sun are now boosting your energy, drive and motivation to work harder and smarter and be healthier. It's as if you want to turn over a new leaf. Some of you might be involved with a pet more than usual because this energy is also activated during the next four weeks. A productive time! Nevertheless, get into the right headspace because a lot of what you will do in the next four weeks will be according to someone else's wishes, or "service to others." (It's a joy to labour for those you love.")
