We think the future is like the present only longer because we expect things to stay the same. But change is inevitable. Sometimes change is subtle and evolving. Men's suits are similar to what they were a hundred years ago. Yet, look at our world since Facebook arrived in 2004! Let's focus on this week because with the holiday season upon us, who can think beyond the end of the month? On Monday, Mercury is square Neptune. Tuesday, Christmas Day is lovely. Friday is passionate and powerful, a hot day for romance! Meanwhile, it's the end of the year and time for me to browse my Cocker Spaniel Annual Manual. Happy holidays to everyone!
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Avoid controversial subjects like politics, religion and racial issues on Monday because they will go sideways in a New York minute. You don't need this. Sometimes you can't resist a challenge, especially a debating challenge! But resist it on Monday! Conversations will be confusing and arguments will be a waste time. By contrast, Friday is a marvellous day! It's passionate, sexy and affectionate. It's also a good day to get to the bottom of things about shared property, inheritances, and the wealth and resources of your partner or someone else. If you want the real skinny - this is the day to go for it. "So just how much are you earning now?"
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Avoid important financial discussions on Monday because they will be too costly. You might assume something, but you're wrong. You might be misinformed. You might make an unwise decision in an attempt to be generous to someone. (Beware idiot compassion.) Because all conversations will have some confusion, steer away from important conversations about inheritances and shared property. That would not be wise. Christmas Day on Tuesday will be upbeat and friendly. However, on Friday, you can enrich and enhance your close relationships by penetrating a deeper level of truth and understanding. Powerful stuff! A friendship might even be altered in a life-changing way.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Be patient with partners and close friends on Monday. You might want to withhold information from someone because it seems easier than telling the truth. Or you might be disappointed? Perhaps your expectations were unrealistic or worse yet, they were unexpressed? (People can't read your mind.) Take everything with a grain of salt and don't hold anyone to their promise. Be patient on Tuesday because everyone is talkative and you're having a busy day! By the end of the week, your health is vigourous and you are really tuned in to your work. You might find deeper meaning in your job, especially if you get you a raise. Ha ha. And hey - this is possible!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Good luck to those of you at work on Monday because many issues on the job will be confused. Conversations with coworkers and superiors might be misunderstood and messages might not be delivered. People are inclined to be secretive or just lazy in delivering the full information. It's a bad day for business negotiations because of misunderstandings and false assumptions. You need your rest this week, so don't push yourself too hard. However, by Friday, romance and love affairs are stellar! The stuff of movies! Sex will passionate and deeply bonding. You might also be moved or stirred through expressing your creative talents. Likewise, relations with kids will be tender and precious.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You have energy this week and you want to get organized. However, on Monday, romance is confusing, perhaps disappointing. You might have had some "pie-in-the-sky" expectations. (Well, we all do when it comes to matters of the heart, don't we?) Be clear and honest when talking to your kids. Don't lie to them and don't give them false promises. Tuesday is a playful day; and by Friday, you might establish a deeper connection with someone, probably a family member. This connection, whether it's a conversation or a shared experience, could be life-changing. You will each more deeply realize what the other person means to you. It's important to know this!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Basically, this is a great week for you because you are ready to party and enjoy sports events, games, romantic outings and playful times with others. On Monday however, confused dealings with family members could be a headache. There might be a misunderstanding. It might also be an unexpected home repair that causes chaos and confusion. ("The dishwasher flooded!") Be patient with those who are close to you on Tuesday because Mars is opposite your sign, which is a bit provocative. (Patience is the antidote to anger.) Fortunately, by Friday, you are charming, affectionate and irresistible to everyone you meet. Turn on the charm! Enjoy your weekend!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Monday is confusing for everyone, but it is especially confusing for you! Be careful driving, walking and jogging. Be mindful of whatever you say to others. Strive to be as clear as you can in your communications with everyone and make sure you understand what they are saying because confusion is rampant this day. Don't worry if you spend a lot of time daydreaming or being lost in a fantasy fog. It happens. ("I watched Netflix all afternoon!") Tuesday is a strong family day for you - no question. By the end of the week, you will have a profound relationship with someone, perhaps a friend, sibling or relative. You will realize how important this person is in your life. (If this is the case, it's valuable to appreciate this.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This is a busy, fast-paced, upbeat week! Fortunately, you are charming and diplomatic. ("You look mahvellous dahling, mahvelous.") On Monday, you can expect confusion about financial matters. This could be financial issues related to work and earnings, or cash transactions, or even some kind of misunderstanding about a possession or something that you own. Count your money. Keep your eyes open. Do not assume you are right. Confusion runs in both directions. Enjoy chatting with everyone on Tuesday. By Friday, expect to have an experience that deepens your relationship with a friend or partner. Whatever you feel will be forceful and strong! You will feel like you have arrived at a moment of truth in your relationship with someone else. It will be a real shift.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You've got money on your mind this week, which is not surprising because most people spend a bundle in December. (That's why some stores stay open the other 11 months!) Monday is a dicey day because Mercury is in your sign at odds with Neptune. This means conversations with others will be like two ships passing in the night. You might be hopelessly misunderstood or you might not understand what others expect of you. This will mean someone will be disappointed in someone else. Be careful of all your negotiations today. Don't fall for any spiritual, mystical snake oil. By contrast, Friday is a day of deep, spiritual understanding for you. You might see new values or a new way to make your life meaningful. (Heady stuff, but true.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
This is your strong time of year because the Sun is in your sign. Yes, you're pumped! Admittedly, Monday is a confusing day. Not only is it confusing, you might think you have something to hide or you might not want to come clean about something. Oh well. For most of the week, by contrast, you are forthright and direct with others. By Friday, a friendship with someone will deepen in a meaningful way. Something will happen that enriches or enhances this relationship. You might arrive at a deeper truth or a bond that you share. Something might even feel fated or "written in the stars". Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Friendships are important to you. Therefore, be mindful on Monday because confusion with a friend or a member of a group will be almost impossible to avoid. Misunderstandings could lead to disappointments and further misunderstandings. Yikes! It's terrible how these things can mushroom and nobody knows what's really going on. Despite the fact that you are working hard and spending big, you might be a bit low key on Tuesday and Wednesday. But on Friday, you can count on having a meaningful exchange with a boss or someone in a position of authority. It will be cards-on-the-table time. Whatever happens will be meaningful for you. And you will be grateful, and touched.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
This is a friendly week in the middle of a friendly month! You are busy schmoozing with friends or clubs and organizations. Nevertheless, take precautions to avoid misunderstandings on Monday with parents and bosses because this might happen. Don't even go there. You have a need to share your future dreams with others, be they friends or perhaps people in a workshop or class. You want to be heard and you want to be understood. (Don't we all?) On Friday, you might have a deep epiphany about religious concepts, philosophy or ideas about mortality and what your future might bring. You might meet a strong guru figure. Alternatively, you might be this teacher for someone else. Friday will be a meaningful day.
