In ancient astrology, Jupiter was called the "Great Benefic" because it was thought to produce nothing but good. Indeed, Jupiter does bring good fortune by increasing whatever we have. It also brings joy and is often called Jove (hence the term "jovial"). Jupiter stays in one sign for a year, which means it returns to each sign every 12 years. Right now, Jupiter has one last month of being in Scorpio before it moves into Sagittarius on Nov. 8. Let's look at the last benefits we are reaping with Jupiter in Scorpio because they will not return again until 2029. (Incidentally, the symbolism of Jupiter is more than a mere fortune cookie, which might say something like, "Toreador pants don't just make your feet look big.")
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You still need to get more sleep. (Go to bed.) This week your primary focus continues to be on partnerships and close friendships, while dealings with groups and casual acquaintances are robust and energetic! However, Jupiter's last month in Scorpio, for your sign, means you still have opportunities to benefit from the wealth and resources of others, especially partners. Your wealth might increase indirectly because your partner earns more. Likewise, you can benefit through financial institutions that will give you a loan or mortgage. Some of you will even receive an inheritance. It's an excellent time to enter into a relationship with others or to pool your resources with someone.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You're industrious and want results for your efforts. You're thinking about how to best manage your life and prioritize responsibilities. This year your ambition has been strong! Use this motivated energy because in a few weeks, it will change focus. Meanwhile, you have the benefit of Jupiter opposing your sign and this benefit remains for one more month. It favours all one-to-one encounters with others. It means that people will help you and benefit you in many ways. Gifts, goodies, favours! Professional partnerships will flourish. You will also benefit through foreign places and people from other cultures because people are good to you now! Yippee!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
This continues to be a playful, flirtatious time and you want to have fun! (The perfect time for a vacation or a mini getaway.) Romance, sports events, everything related to the arts plus fun activities with kids are great choices. Mars amps your desire to travel and learn something new by being self-taught or taking a course. Jupiter has brought you opportunities to improve your health this year along with chances to improve your job or get a better job. This benefit with your health and your job continues for another month. Wundebar! An offshoot of this, is that you might also enjoy pets or get a new pet. (A good dog saves you the bother of picking up food in the kitchen.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Your focus on home and family continues, especially increased involvement with a parent or an authority figure. Disputes about sex or shared property, inheritances, taxes, debt and insurance issues are on your plate. In the next month, your interest is still about love affairs, romance, vacations, playful activities with children and exploring opportunities in the arts. This does not mean that these fun things will shuffle off to Buffalo, but your focus will soon shift. Recently (and in the month ahead) you have the courage to be yourself and express yourself to others without fear or apology. What freedom! Along with this, your sex drive has been amped. Lots of fodder for your diary if you have time to write!
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Your busy time continues. It's frantic with short trips, appointments, conversations and increased reading and writing but there is good news! Mars has been opposite your sign for most of this year which is most unusual. Usually, it is opposite your sign once every two years for only six weeks. But this year, it's been sitting there for months! This makes you irritated with partners and close friends, which is not good. Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You're giving a lot of thought to your basic values in life, which might be prompted by events around you that provoke you to think of what really matters. Always a good thing.
