This week Venus moves into Libra to stay for five weeks. What does this mean? For starters, Venus loves being in Libra, so this is good news for everyone. (Hey, when Venus is happy - we're happy.) Venus is the energy behind art, creativity, beauty and true love! Venus might seem passive, but it actually draws things to you. Even if you do nothing, Venus will attract a person to you or even money! (Oh yes, Venus is the coin of the realm.) Venus is also a social planet. When Venus is "on" - we enjoy the arts, parties, entertaining and romance! Think Romeo and Juliet. (Why didn't she just leave a note?) "Hmmm, tights as pants again? Are you a Montague or a Capulet?" "I'm the Dread Pirate Roberts!"
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This week fair Venus moves opposite your sign, which is one of the best places to improve all your relationships - love affairs, professional partnerships, even your relationship with an enemy. The reason for this is that the ego forces between you and others will be well balanced. People will be reasonable with each other. Not only will you understand the needs and the wants of someone else, you will be fair-minded and accommodating. "You go, Hugo. I'll stay behind." It will also be easy to express affection for someone close to you. This is also an excellent time for legal confrontations and settling lawsuits. "You go, Hugo."
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
The next five weeks will favour everything related to your work and your job. You will enjoy warm relations with coworkers and customers. You will easily resolve difficulties with others. You might get a raise; you will certainly get praise. This is an excellent time to discuss agreements and come to a consensus with someone. Venus will also favour your health in the next month - except, it will tempt you with sweets, desserts and fattening foods. Just remember: Never eat more than you can lift. A minute on the lips is a lifetime on the hips.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You're the lucky one in the next six weeks because Venus demands that you put fun and entertainment at the top of your list! This is the perfect time to enjoy a vacation. It's also the perfect time to enjoy love affairs and romance, sports events and playful times with children. Admittedly, your self-discipline will be low because you want to play - not work. Because you will enjoy games and fun diversions, all kinds of creative activities will also appeal. Visit museums and art galleries. Attend concerts and firework displays. Enjoy life! There's no need to pretend to be what you are not. "I yam what I yam!"
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You will be pleased as Venus travels across the bottom of your chart in the next 6-7 weeks. That's because you are a nester, and during this time, Venus will journey through the part of your chart that governs home, family and your private life. For starters, it will create and attract opportunities for you to have a peaceful time at home and enjoy quiet hours either alone or entertaining. You will feel relaxed and at ease. Life will be congenial. (No box wine.) Even relations with parents will improve. You will dabble in redecorating projects and want to make your home more attractive. It's true that you might overdo the food and drink department. Oh well, life is short - and fat.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
It's curious but Venus will travel through the part of your chart that affects your thinking, your communications with others, and your everyday activities. This is why you will notice more beauty in your daily world and your appreciation of your surroundings will deepen and increase. Likewise, you might see how much love there is in your daily world through the contacts you meet regularly. Because Venus will affect your thinking, you will see relationships between ideas and events that you missed before. Indeed, genius is seeing relationships where others do not. Likewise, your words will be sweet and charming. And your words will make money!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Ka-ching! Venus is the planet of love but it is also the planet of money. The good news is that in the next month and a bit longer, Venus will travel through your Money House, specifically the one governing earnings, cash flow and spending. Remember - Venus attracts money! This means many of you will see ways to make money on the side. Some of you will get a better paying job. In some way, you will probably boost your wealth. You will also want to spend money on beautiful things, on art, jewelry, clothing and such. Caution against being extravagant! Venus will also benefit financial investments made at this time especially in art or objects of beauty.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
In the next five weeks, fair Venus will be in your sign increasing your desire to relate to others. You will feel social and warm to everyone! You will want to avoid controversy. This is the perfect time to make peace with someone. You will also attract people to you, friends and potential lovers. This is an ideal time to take a vacation because Venus always ranks pleasure above work. Accept invitations to socialize! Enjoy the arts. During this window of time, you will like the clothing that you buy for yourself because Venus will tend to make you look more attractive and this is the perfect headspace to shop for wardrobe items. (He really impressed her. He was strong, compassionate and he knew how to accessorize.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
The next 5-6 weeks will be interesting because fair Venus will be hiding in your chart. Since Venus is related to love, romance and relationships, this is a strong indication that many of you will have a secret love affair or a secret crush on someone. Despite this secret aspect, ironically, you are very much high viz. because the Sun is at high noon in your chart, thrusting you in the limelight. This is why bosses, parents and VIPs are so impressed with you! You might also have to take care of a loved one or help someone in need. This placement of Venus encourages self-denial and unselfish behaviour. It promotes forbearance and grace in your dealings with others. Very admirable! (Is that halo too tight?)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
A social month ahead is on the books for your sign because for the next six weeks - Venus will attract friends into your world. This is a wonderful time to socialize because all your interactions with others will be loving and affectionate. This applies to one-to-one friendships as well as to group settings or business conferences. You will feel secure in who you are and you will be willing to help others, especially in a group. Because of this increased affection for others, some of you will begin a romance. Yes, a friend could become a lover. Conversely, romantic partners will value their good friendship with each other. "Hey hon, can you spare fifty?" It will be easy to work with others, especially in community activities.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Venus will travel across the top of your chart for the next month and a bit longer. This will make you look good in the eyes of others, especially bosses, parents and VIPs. In fact, you will look so good to bosses, some of you will begin a new love relationship with a mentor figure or a boss. Whereas before the exalted position of this person was a barrier - it will now be an attraction. Meanwhile, you will be approached for your creative input on layout, design, office redecorating, PR work or making something look more attractive. You will be successful in working harmoniously with others - because that's what Venus does.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Exciting possibilities await you in the next six weeks. One of the most obvious will be a chance to travel for pleasure. However, you will also have opportunities to enjoy art exhibits, beautiful places and discuss provocative ideas. It's the perfect time for a vacation. It's also the perfect time to explore any kind of consciousness-expanding experience by taking a course or a workshop. You will make new friends from other cultures and some of you will fall in love with someone who is "different." (In fact it's the difference that seems to intrigue you.) You might also make friends with someone who is better educated or more worldly. "This isn't my first rodeo."
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
For the next six weeks, Venus will travel through the part of your chart that relates to the wealth of others and shared property. This is why you will attract money, assets, wealth and advantages to you through others. A classic example would be that your partner earns more money or gets a bonus, which indirectly benefits you. Or you will also find it easy to get a loan or a mortgage from a financial institution. But your benefits are not all financial - because this is also the part of your chart that deals with sex. (Would I kid you?) Love relationships will take on a greater intensity and become a vehicle for self transformation and inward change - at least, an exchange of sir names.
