Uranus represents events that are sudden, upsetting and unusual --anything from earthquakes and volcanoes to a sudden windfall in your life. It generally brings increased freedom. It challenges rigid structures that are stuck in the mud or outdated. It is the impetus behind movements like Amnesty International, Green Peace and unions. It forces people to change when they are in a dead-end situation but afraid to act. Uranus takes 87 years to go through all 12 signs, so we feel each sign only once in our life. It has just shifted into Taurus after being in Aries from 2012. Uranus can be your key to liberation! Your door to a new future! Your gateway to a new world! Your rocket to freedom! Ah yes -- metaphors be with you!
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This shift of Uranus means that in the next several years, your values will change. At first, this might not be obvious because these values will reflect your inner psychological growth. Ultimately, it will even change your relationship with material objects and material values. If you feel encumbered by anything or weighed down by your possessions - you might get rid of them. It will certainly be a time of sudden windfalls as well as sudden losses - gaining or losing property. If your job is a dead-end, you will leave it. Keep yourself open to new opportunities that appear because they will appear. Reduce your debt and save money so that you can handle change occurring around you.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Uranus is now in your sign. This is the only time you will experience this in your life. It signifies that old patterns are breaking down in your world. As this happens, people will be forced to look upon you differently. Limitations that are self-imposed, or imposed by others are no longer acceptable in your eyes. You want to be liberated! A relationship that has become stale will change. Work that is stale will change. What you experience in the next eight years is a strong drive for freedom! It will be wise to explore disciplines like yoga, astrology and other consciousness-expanding techniques - whatever appeals. All the aspects of your life that limit you will change because you are going to be freer, more liberated and more aware!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
In 2026, Uranus will move into your sign. Until then, its journey will be subtle because it takes place in your 12th House. However, you will experience unconscious compulsions. Secrets might come out. Expect the sudden disclosure of either your own secrets or anything that is hidden in your life. The irony is these sudden surprises are often subconsciously triggered by you! It's as if you have to blow the lid off something. This is because the 12th House rules your unconscious mind and whatever you suppress, especially things too difficult to deal with. This journey will be an excellent time to clear up old problems floating around in your unconscious. You will face them clearly and openly. "Be gone!"
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
In the next eight years, your hopes and dreams will dramatically change. Your goals will change. You will start to identify with different people. You might join new clubs or organizations. You will interact with new friends who challenge your old ways. If you're in a group or you hang out with people who pressure you - you will leave the group. Be aware. Watch yourself starting to identify with new groups and new people because this is how you want to grow. They will reflect values that you want to adopt. Naturally, this will surprise others. Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
The next eight years will be exciting because you will experience radical change to your professional life. This is because Uranus will impact your social status, your reputation and your career. Your relationship with bosses, VIPs and parents will change, especially if they have been repressive. If you felt restricted - you will rebel. "I'm outta here!" Fear not because Uranus will provide you with sudden, new opportunities to work, especially with new techniques and technology.(Uranus rules radio waves, computers and aviation.) Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This new journey of Uranus (until 2026) will be exciting because it will expand your awareness of the world and give you new insights that you have never before experienced. This is because the part of your chart that Uranus will travel through includes foreign countries, philosophies, religions, beliefs and ideologies. Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
In the next eight years, you will become aware of unseen forces operating at a level that bring about changes in your world. These changes will be sudden, unexpected events. An old order in your life is passing away making way for a new one to enter. Restrictions that were imposed on you by others or even self-imposed will become unbearable. You will break away! Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This will shake up marriages and partnerships, especially the ones that are oppressive. If you're unhappy in a relationship but afraid or paralyzed to leave - nevertheless, that relationship will bite the dust. Destiny will liberate you! You will be attracted to new experiences that expand your world in a stimulating way! This will include the arts, sports and the entertainment world. Many of you will attract an unusual romance into your life -- a relationship that teaches you something new and liberates you. Parents might face unexpected events related to their kids.
