All Signs
This week the Sun will oppose Saturn. We will all feel this dynamic regardless of our sign because Saturn has a way of making you aware of the limitations that are imposed on you by yourself, and also the limitations that are imposed on you by circumstances or even other people. Saturn deals with boundaries. It rules time. (A relentless, never-ending boundary.) This means that in the week ahead, we will all feel challenged by loneliness, limitations, duty, obligations, isolation and maybe the odd toothache. No kidding - Saturn is related to the teeth and the bones. Look at where Saturn is for your sign this week. It's significant. (Although you never know - everyone talks about apathy but no one does anything about it.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
It's important for you to know what Saturn is doing in your chart, because it's trying to groom you for a major career peak that starts next year. Yep. Whether you know it or not, you're cramming for your finals. Because you are going to have this time of harvest, whatever you do in the next few years will be predicated on what you do this year. For example, if you get further studies or coursework or training; or you travel and thereby become more polished and more experienced - these kinds of things will make you a different person by next year, so that when your time of harvest comes - you will know how to make the most of it. Capisce?
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Ever since 2012, relationships have been demanding. (This is a euphemism for whether or not you should throw in the towel.) However, in the last couple of years, your main challenge has been keeping your boat afloat. That's because the support that you used to rely on - the finances, the income and the assistance from other sources (primarily your partner) have been reduced or even cut off. This has thrown you completely on your own resources. You could say that you are in boot camp. And in fact, you are! Saturn is determined that you're going to learn how to stand on your own two feet so that you know how to prepare for your time of harvest that will arrive in 2020. That's just a few years away. Start planning.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You have been going through a difficult relationship with Saturn since 2015 because since that time (and it still going on) Saturn has been sitting opposite your sign. ("Hi Darth.") This means your closest relationships and partnerships are being tested as never before. In fact, relationships that are not going to make it will end now. However, most relationships will stay together but there will be a lot of yelling and screaming. Saturn is forcing you to go beyond reconciliation and learn how to deal with someone close to you. Once you have survived this, you will have learned a lot and your relationship will deepen. ("Can you hear me now?")
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Saturn can be a stern taskmaster, and indeed, this is a role that Saturn has played for your sign in the last two years. Life has been hard. You are busting your buns. At times, you have felt that you actually are so overwhelmed and you just can't do it all. But so far, you have done it, haven't you? And you're almost at the end of this slog, which has really been to test your effectiveness as a human being. Because after this, you are going to make your debut into the big world. You will be centre stage and will get applause and acknowledgement for all your hard work. Oh yeah, Saturn is the stern taskmaster, but Saturn is also true blue Odie. Saturn always delivers the goods.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
There's good news and there's bad news. The bad news is that Saturn has introduced increased responsibilities with children into your life. It has also made it tougher to go on vacations and explore lots of fun stuff, especially the arts. In terms of romance, no longer are you flitting from flower to flower. Saturn only wants you to get serious. However, the good news is that Saturn is now in your fellow Fire sign. This means its strength, focus and tenacity are supporting your Leo Sun. (And your Leo daughter.) So you are fortunate. Despite the restrictions of Saturn, you have a tough, resolute support that helps you get things done. "Move that mountain!"
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You are high viz. now and want to travel for pleasure. Physical competition with a friend or a group might be taking place as well. But in the long haul, when we take a look at where Saturn is in your Virgo chart, we see that since 2015, you have been focused on improving your home scene. You might have increased responsibilities at home, especially with a parent. But you also have to face home repairs and figure out how to secure your home. Perhaps you have moved again? At the very least, you will want to improve and repair where you live so that you feel you have a safe refuge you can rely on. Fortunately, increased earnings will help you do this this year. Yay!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
This has been a fortunate year for you because lucky Jupiter is in your sign helping you to feel content and happy with your world. Many of you have more free time. You also have more opportunities to enjoy travel and the company of dear friends. Nevertheless, Saturn is somewhere in your chart, isn't it? In fact, Saturn has brought a serious overtone to your day-to-day world. For many of you, it has necessitated a change of jobs or a change of residence, or in some cases - both. Whatever happens, fear not because when lucky Jupiter leaves your sign, it moves into one of your money Houses. This is sure to boost your assets, your cash flow and in most cases, your earnings. (Money is so handy when you want to buy things.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Since 2010, you have given up a lot. Relationships, possessions, jobs and homes have gone by the wayside for many of you because it was a time to let go of what was no longer relevant in your life. Since 2012 however, Saturn has put you in a financial squeeze play. It's been tough to increase your earnings. In fact, it's even bit tough to maintain your earnings! However, you will benefit from the intentions of Saturn now, which are to teach you or perhaps reveal - what your values are. Our values are our guidelines. Our values dictate why and how we make our decisions. It's important to figure out what really matters in life and this transit of Saturn will help you do this. Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
After giving up a lot since 2012, in 2015, Saturn entered your sign where it will stay until December this year. This is a sobering experience and it occurs roughly once every 30 years in your life and lasts for about two and half years. Basically, it's grow up time. (Just made a typo that said throw up time... and maybe there's a bit of that too.) Don't worry too much if your bones and joints are creaky and you feel old. You might even feel a bit lonely and cut off from others. Saturn can do that. Basically, Saturn is setting you off on a new path so that you will reinvent yourself by 2023. How's it looking so far? Fortunately, your ruler Jupiter nicely offsets some of this sober influence because Jupiter attracts friends and groups into your life. You're popular!
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
A word to the wise: Fiery Mars is opposite your sign now, which is why you feel so annoyed with others. (Yeah, yeah they are annoying.) In a matter of weeks, Mars will move on and all will be well. At least, much better. Meanwhile, let's take a look at Saturn, which happens to be the ruler of your sign. You are in a particular phase of your life that occurs once every 30 years, and this phase right now is making you give up a lot of deadweight. You are saying goodbye to people, places and possessions. Relationships, homes, friendships, jobs - many of these things are slipping away because you are either making this choice or it is being thrust upon you. Go with the flow. Do not see this as a time of loss. It's a time of lightening up to prepare for a new future!
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You are one of the lucky signs right now because this particular Saturn transit is not so tough. Of course, it is trying to teach you something because every Saturn transit is meant to teach you something. But it also offers you a lot of support. It's toughening you up and giving you a straighter spine to deal with life. In the bigger picture, Saturn wants you to stand up for yourself. Don't let others walk all over you. You have enjoyed success and accomplishment in the last five years, and because of that, you are tempted to be all things to all people. But hey - where are you in that scenario? Who is taking care of your needs? It's appropriate to deliver what others want but it's also appropriate to respect your own self interests.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
This is a fortunate time for you because life is bringing you opportunities as well as the financial, practical and psychological support from others. This is why you have many chances to enrich your life right now. This is one of the few times in your life when Saturn is crossing the top of your chart, which means this is your time of harvest! Yes! The seeds that you have planted in the last five years are coming to fruition. Where you planted well - you will be rewarded. Where you planted poorly - you face failure. Don't dwell on this - move on! This is a powerful time for you when you are getting the recognition and acknowledgement you deserve! Yay you!
