Aside from the back-to-school syndrome, which is taking place because the Sun is in Virgo - the big news for this week is that fair Venus moves into Libra and Mercury retrograde begins in full force. ("Help! I'm trapped in the garbage compressor in Start Wars!") Yes, this Virgo Sun wants all of us to clean up our act, despite the fact that Mercury retrograde will create delays and silly errors and mistakes for all of us. (Aaagghh! Kill me with a spoon.) Nevertheless, Venus in Libra is a lovely influence for everyone and it lasts from August 29 until September 23. Stock the fridge because Mercury retrograde attracts relatives to your kitchen. Meanwhile, kids are amped with excited energy to start their new grade in school. "Both it! Stop of you!"
Aries (March 21-April 19)
There's good news and bad news for you. Let's take the bad news first so you can finish with a sweet taste in your mouth. Mercury retrograde is taking place in the part of your chart that is all about employment and your job; plus anything to do with your health, as well as small pets. This means you will suffer delays and silly errors at work. Communications with customers and coworkers will be mixed up and misunderstood. Paperwork will be misplaced or lost. Equipment (including computers) will break down or suffer from glitches. A recurring health problem might return, or alternatively, you might finally discover a solution to the problem. A lost pet might return or you might get a new pet. Fortunately, fair Venus will sit across your sign until late September paving the way for all your closest relationships. Smoochie boochies!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Old flames are back in the lives of many of you. However, you might also deal with unfinished business or previous issues related to your kids. If you plan social outings and fun events, including vacations (which are most timely for your sign now), expect delays and errors to cause some problems. "We forgot the cake!" Or worse. "We forgot the booze!" Dinner and hotel reservations might have problems. Double check everything. Little glitches could be maddening, especially related to sports, the arts and playful times with kids. The good news is that fair Venus will pave the way for everything very nicely at work. Relations with coworkers will be excellent. In fact, a work-related romance might begin. Woo, woo!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Mercury retrograde is literally going to hit you where you live. This means small appliances might break down or minor breakages could occur. Domestic confusion will be likely because family conversations will be misunderstood (like two ships passing in the night). Home repairs and renovations will continue (hopefully speedily); nevertheless, broken equipment, misplaced tools and frustrating delays are inevitable. Meanwhile, family and friends you haven't seen for a while will be eating out of your fridge and pantry. Ironically, this is further enhanced because fair Venus wants you to party for the next four weeks! Good luck!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Get ready for a brutal Mercury retrograde in the next month because the part of your chart where Mercury retrograde occurs is very part where it can do the most damage. Aagghh! "Why me?" (Because you pissed the stars off.) Transportation delays are inevitable. Check cars, bikes and trucks to do damage control because you face engine problems, flat tires and setbacks in your transportation. Likewise, allow extra time to travel on public transportation to avoid delays. Your communications with others will be glitched - for sure. This includes computers, email, texts, cell phones, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and anything else I might have left out. Do not purchase a car, truck or bike during this Mercury Retrograde. The good news is that family and home will be cozy and fun. Great time to entertain! Good time to check out real-estate deals. Good time to redecorate where you live.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This particular Mercury retrograde will impact your finances. Cheques in the mail will be late. Payments to you will be delayed. However, schemes and ideas for earning money from the past can now be resurrected. In other words, old ideas will fly! This is appropriate because you are focused on money and earnings more than usual right now. The upside is that fair Venus will sweeten all your communications with others, especially siblings, relatives and neighbours. Not only that, Venus will colour your relationship with your immediate surroundings. It will make you appreciate how beautiful your daily surroundings are; and it will also make you see just how much love there is in your daily world. Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
