All Signs
This week the Sun moves into Virgo. This change of Sun signs shifts everything for everyone. It means we are leaving the party mode of Leo and phasing into the efficiency of Virgo. It's a wake-up call! Many call it the "back-to-school" syndrome. This is because Virgo is analytical, practical and hardworking. However, Virgo is also a kind sign that is associated with service. This is why many will seek ways to do volunteer work. I am willing to test beds in upscale hotel suites to ensure they offer a good night's sleep. How else can the public be safe? I will make this sacrifice. Someone has to do it. (Hopefully, there will be a complimentary bottle of wine.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This back-to-school syndrome makes you want to turn over a new leaf. "Time for a change!" Indeed, this month is the last month of a year-long opportunity to improve your job or get a better job or figure out how to get your evil boss transferred to Timbuktu. Many of you have used this influence to improve your health. Please note that you will have wonderful opportunities to finish up old business because Mercury is about to go retrograde. (Admittedly, it will create delays and snafus at work. Misunderstandings will be rife; paperwork will be mislaid or lost; and mail deliveries will be late.) However, travel plans still look promising and a work-related romance could begin. Woo, woo!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You are the one sign that will be slow to embrace the back-to-school change that Virgo brings. You're going in kicking and screaming. That's because you still want to socialize, go on vacation, enjoy sports events and delight in playful activities with kids. Yes, you still want to par-tay! Old flames from the past might be back in your life in the next few weeks. This could be interesting because the placement of Mars heightens your sex drive for the next month as well. Oh my - possible complications! Grab every opportunity to indulge in the pleasures of life in the next month. It's your turn to be yourself and do your own thing! Yeehaw!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Even though your focus on home, family and real estate has been strong lately, believe it or not, it will be even stronger in the next four weeks. (Whaaat?) Retrograde Mercury will attract relatives to your door. (Stock the fridge.) Mercury is your ruler and this particular retrograde journey will help you finish old projects, especially anything to do with home improvements. Use this to your advantage. Get as much done as possible. Some will revisit old real-estate deals or reconsider major purchases for your home. Meanwhile, with Mars opposite your sign for the next month, you have to be patient with partners and close friends. The good news is that when Mars moves on at the end of September, it will not oppose you again until 2018. Whew!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This back-to-school syndrome brings duties, errands, conversations with others and short trips. Yes - you will be busy in the coming month; however, you will enjoy talking to others. In fact, you will particularly enjoy a newfound appreciation of friends and relatives. This heightened appreciation will even apply to your surroundings. Admittedly, this particular Mercury retrograde will be vicious with transportation delays, flat tires, breakdowns with cars and trucks, confused communications and late mail deliveries. Just grin and bear it because it will be years before Mercury retrograde hits you this hard again. ( And remember: The email of the species is stronger than the mail.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
How appropriate that you now enter a four-week window of time where you are advised to review your spending habits and earnings. Time to take stock after an extravagant, fun-loving summer! Lucky Jupiter has favoured you in terms of money, especially earning money. And for those of you who are born after August 7, your chance to boost your earnings continues well into 2017. Retrograde Mercury might mean that cheques in the mail will late as will other payments due you. But ironically, while Mercury is retrograde, "you have an excellent chance to go after "old money"- especially old ways of earning money. Whatever ideas you have recently hatched to boost your income will now be reinvigorated with energy. Time to finish this and move on!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Well, it's all about you, dear Virgo. This week the Sun moves into your sign to stay for the next four weeks joining retrograde Mercury, fair Venus and lucky Jupiter. Make the most of this good fortune because it doesn't always come your way. When good fortune surrounds you, you do have to get out of bed. Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
