All Signs
This week the Sun, Mercury and Venus are in Cancer. Mars is in its second month in Scorpio, where it will stay until early August. (This is unusual. Typically, Mars is in Scorpio once every two years for about six to seven weeks. This year it was in Scorpio for January and February; and then again in June and July. Yowsers!) Lucky, moneybags Jupiter is still in Virgo to stay until September. And Saturn continues in Sagittarius until 2018. This emphasis in the signs of Cancer and Scorpio prompts us to garden, recycle, redo, renovate and putter around our homes. (Think of all the things you can do after World of Warcraft rehab.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
There's no question that your focus is on home and family. Many of you are doing home repairs, home renovations or tackling home redecorating ideas. Because you are the artisan of the zodiac, you might do fabulous DIY projects. Good news: It looks like the financial assistance and energy from an outside source that you need will help you to make this a reality. (Whew!) Spontaneous get-togethers and entertaining is likely, so stock the fridge. Be careful Thursday when you will be tempted to blow your cool with a family member. Don't do it. Anger serves no purpose other than to make everyone miserable. And you know this.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Your schedule is busy with travel, short trips, meetings, discussions with others, mucho errands and an ambitious To-Do list. Some of you are also reading, writing and studying more than usual. Just accept this and go with the flow. However, please note: You can make money from your words, which is good news for writers, actors, teachers and people in sales. Pay attention to everything you say and do because there is an accident-prone influence for you this week. In addition, avoid controversial subjects like politics, religion and racial issues, especially Thursday. Mars continues to oppose you, which makes you impatient with others. Only one more month of this! Then you are in the clear until December 2017.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Money, money, money! This is where you are focused. Cash flow, earnings, shopping and juggling how to best handle your resources and assets are where it's at for you. You want to feel more in control of your world through what you own. (Not at its mercy!) Ironically, even though you are watching your money, you are also making big purchases. Fortunately, fiery Mars give you lots of energy to work, especially on the job; therefore, use it. It won't always be this easy to get this much done. Guard against financial squabbles and quarrels on Thursday because they will deteriorate into power struggles. Yes, money talks - but it doesn't always make cents.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
It's still all about you with the Sun, Mercury and fair Venus in your sign. Take advantage of these influences and shop for wardrobe treasures because you will be pleased. You're eager to socialize with others, which is a good thing because with Venus in your sign, you are diplomatic and charming. Fiery Mars makes you want to party and entertain. But hey -- you want to be invited out! Avoid power struggles with partners and close friends on Thursday because these arguments will arise. Instead, consider this challenge an opportunity to demonstrate grace under pressure. Take note: Sudden new love might enter your life this week because something unexpected and sudden will delight you.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Have you noticed lately that you need more patience at home, especially dealing with family? This is because fiery Mars is stirring up things on the home front with visiting guests, renovations, repairs and lots of activity. Naturally, this can create domestic strife, which prompts you to argue about something ridiculous! (But you can't let it go.) Life with a parent can be particularly difficult now. Fortunately, you're not throwing your weight around because three planets are hiding in your chart, which makes you feel reclusive. Yes, you're waiting for your birthday when you will step out, centre stage, to the applause of the world. "We loooove you!"
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Right now at least five planets are promoting your popularity. This is why you are enjoying good times with friends. It's also why many of you are more involved with clubs, groups and associations. Accept what's happening. Say yes to invitations because everyone wants to be in your presence. You will enjoy the company of younger, artistic people now. This is also a good time for you to share your goals with others to get their feedback. Romantic quarrels and power struggles with kids are possible on Thursday so Mum's the word. (Don't go looking for trouble.) Unexpected gifts, goodies and favours from others will come your way this week.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Three planets at the top of your chart make you high viz. The good news is that not only do people in authority notice you more than usual, they admire you! (Chalk it up to good lighting - and good lighting is everything.) Obviously, this means this is the best time of the year to ask for what you want, especially from bosses, parents and VIPs. Since you make such a great impression on bosses, some of you will begin a romantic relationship. (Oh my.) People are impressed with your big ideas, your charm and diplomacy plus your confidence. This could lead to a job change for some because many of you will have a job or residential change before 2018.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Continue to grab every chance to travel because you need to get outta Dodge. It's challenging with Mars in your sign so much this year. Usually, Mars is in your sign for six weeks once every two years. But this year, it was there for two months at the beginning of the year, and then throughout June; and now you will have it for all of July. Of course, there is an upside. Mars is energy. So you have lots of energy to work and accomplish things; hence you will be productive and tackle big projects with a vengeance! However, if you don't get physical exercise to blow off this pent-up steam, the energy of Mars can get you in trouble with others because you're just coming on too strong! Easy does it.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
With your ruling planet Jupiter at the top of your chart (this occurs only once in 12 years), you look successful and affluent to others especially bosses and VIPs. This is great because you're hatching big plans! You've got big ideas that you want to put into action, and these big ideas require an influx of money. Fortunately, now is a good time to ask for a loan or mortgage because you can benefit from the wealth and resources of others (and by "others" this includes mean banks as well as friends, relatives and partners). Do take note however; Thursday is a bad day to negotiate financial matters. Instead, avoid financial disputes or arguments about shared property. Aside from that, keep your pockets open because a surprise gift will come your way this week!
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Competition with a friend or a group is likely. In fact, this has been something you've been flirting with since the beginning of the year. This week the competition looks favourable; you will do well. However, arguments with partners and close friends on Thursday are likely; and you don't need this. They might be triggered by an unexpected event or the appearance of someone you didn't expect. (You don't like being caught off guard because you like a predictable outcome. You certainly like to be prepared because you are the kind of person who does their homework.) Friendships and partnerships are important to you right now. It's good to acknowledge this.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Your pace at work is busy because you are setting high standards for yourself. You want to accomplish a lot, and you want to do it efficiently. Fortunately, coworkers are supportive. Don't hesitate to ask for help. They admire the fact that you're willing to roll up your sleeves and work at a grassroots level. Bosses and VIPs will notice your efforts, which bodes well for you. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Life continues to offer you romance, parties, vacations, social excursions, fun, sports events and playful times with children. Both casual flirtations and serious relationships are blessed for Pisces - yes, you have it all! If you can slip away on a vacation in the next few weeks - please do so because you are hungry for fun and pleasure! Anything to do with the arts, the entertainment world and the hospitality industry will also flourish because you're full of imaginative ideas and you're in touch with your creativity.
