All Signs
Fiery Mars usually clips along changing signs about every six weeks. In turn, we feel this energy hitting different areas of our lives. However, for the first nine months of 2016, Mars is "stuck" hanging out between only two signs - Scorpio and Sagittarius. This is something different! Let's look at what Mars is doing because Mars is going to stay in one sign (which happens to be Sagittarius) until the end of May. So what does this mean for each of us? For starters, Mars is strong energy. It is an energy planet. Wherever this energy planet falls in your chart, it pumps everything. It amplifies joy or anger; it triggers activity and movement; and yes, it hypes sex. Remember sex? It's between five and seven.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is a wonderful, exciting time for you! The Sun, Mercury and Uranus are in your sign giving you energy to do things and talk to people, which is why you are out there flying your colours! Meanwhile because Mars will be in your fellow Fire sign for the next two months, it will further boost your energy and your confidence. Mars has rulership over your blood and your muscles, which means the next two months will be great for all kinds of athletics because you will feel vigourous, enthusiastic and competitive. In addition, you will love to initiate new activities, especially physical activities. You will especially love to travel and explore new places and new ideas. This is a grand time for Aries!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Right now the Sun is hiding in your chart waiting to jump out centre stage for your birthday. That's why this is the ideal time to plan and strategize what you want your new year (birthday to birthday) to be all about. In the meantime, while you are planning your future, fiery Mars is sitting in one of your money houses, specifically the house of other people's money - inheritances, taxes, debt and shared property. Because Mars has such fiery energy, you are more than ready to confront anyone who threatens your share of something. You might re-examine or modify your position about how to share things with others. You will defend your own best interests, which means things are a bit testy with others! On the upside, your gonads are in overdrive because your sexual energy is hot! Oh my.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Whoa Nelly! This is a popular time and you love it! You're enjoying the company of others more than usual as well as increased activity with clubs, groups and organizations. Everyone is delighted to see your face! ("Where have you been?")However, fiery Mars is sitting directly opposite your sign where it will stay until the merry month of May. And hey, this is not easy because when Mars is opposite your sign, it stirs up tension in your life with others. This is mainly because it becomes difficult for you to compromise, and compromise is necessary for all relationships. Therefore, partnerships and close friendships will be tested. On the upside, you can use the energy of Mars to work together in partnership with someone.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You continue to be high viz., especially in the eyes of bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs because the Sun is at high noon in your chart. This is good news because this light is flattering and everyone is impressed with you. You will also enjoy travel for pleasure and a chance to explore avenues in publishing, the media, medicine and the law. This is also a good time to lay the groundwork for future education and training. The reason you will do all these things with enthusiasm and gusto is because fiery Mars makes you want to work hard now. You will take pride in your work and throw your energy into whatever you want to do, as long as you can get credit for your efforts. You will accomplish an enormous amount this month and next! Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Both Leos and Aries benefit from this sojourn of Mars in Sagittarius. However, it affects each of you in a different way. Mars will make Leos play! Until May, you will not be into self-denial and discipline. Au contraire! You want pleasure, amusing diversions, parties and a chance to enjoy movies, the arts and sports. In particular, your physical sex drive will be strong and you will be more playful with sex partners. The only downside is it will be tough to muster the necessary discipline to get stuff done. Don't get me wrong, Mars will make you feel vigourous and willing to act; and it will boost your self confidence. However, many you will use this energy to play rather than work.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Your focus on shared property, taxes, debt and anything you own jointly with others continues to be strong. And with fair Venus opposite your sign, your relations with partners and close friends are warm and friendly. However, fiery Mars might stir up trouble because it creates conflict with family members. You have strong opinions, wants and needs about what you think should happen at home, and you won't back down. This is why you might end up fighting with someone. On the bright side, Mars will give you lots of energy to make home improvements, which is why you might move furniture around and tackle renovations. Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Remember to get more sleep while the Sun is opposite your sign. This is important, especially for Librans because you have an erratic sleep pattern anyhow. Most Librans are sleep deprived. (You party animal.) Fortunately, relations with coworkers are good. People even praise you at work. Part of this is because fiery Mars now invigorates your communication style, and will continue to do so until May. You are articulate, bold and to the point. You say what you mean and you mean what you say. You also identify strongly with your ideas, which makes you verbally pushy. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You have a nice balance in your life right now because you're keen to work hard (and you are working hard to accomplish a lot in a hands-on, down-to-earth way). Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
