All Signs
This week the Sun and Saturn are in Sagittarius. Mercury and Pluto are in Capricorn. Venus is in Scorpio; Mars is in Libra and Jupiter is in Virgo. Just so you get a feel for things -- the Sun changes signs every month; whereas the Moon changes signs every two and half days. The outer planets stay much longer in each sign. For example, Pluto can stay in one sign for 31 years. This means it is the Moon that is our most rapidly changing influence. It affects our social and romantic behavior. I just read in the Washington Post that "foreploy" is "any misrepresentation about yourself for the purpose of getting laid." So true.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You still have a strong desire to get away from all this, which means you should grab every opportunity to travel. If you can't travel, be a tourist in your own city. Make an effort to learn something new because this will satisfy you. Intimacy with others will be warm and cozy this week, which is a good idea because it will help smooth over difficulties with partners. These difficulties exist because Mars is opposite your sign now and when this happens, it makes you easily annoyed with others. Naturally, they are annoying, but you have to live with it somehow. Isn't that the adult thing to do?
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Your focus is on shared property, inheritances, taxes and debt. This makes you feel intense about everything, and well you should because every Taurus pays attention to money, wealth and assets. With loving Venus opposite your sign now, relations with others couldn't be better. Get out and schmooze! Make a dinner date with someone you truly enjoy. If this is impossible, make plans with your next best shot. Mars will keep you revved up and working hard this week. But do be aware that not everyone wants to work as hard as you do right now; so be careful about being judgmental of "lazy" people. Of course, Jupiter still wants you to grab a vacation and have fun!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
The Sun continues to be opposite your sign, which means it is as far away from you as it gets all year. Since it is the source of your energy, this means you will need more sleep. Factoid. With Saturn sitting opposite your sign, admittedly, your close friendships and relationships are challenged. Fortunately, all the other influences are great! Venus promotes tact, diplomacy and warmth with colleagues at work. Mars makes you sexy, playful and ready to enjoy sports and fun times. And of course, Jupiter will continue to promote real-estate deals and happy situations at home for months to come.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You're still keen to turn over a new leaf because you want to be the best that you can be. Not only do you want to be efficient, effective and productive, you want to be healthy and vigourous! Well, good luck. These are fabulous aspirations. One influence that might inspire you now is the fact that turmoil, chaos and increased activity at home are driving you nuts. Therefore, you must be efficient and effective - just for self survival! Fortunately, fair Venus promotes fun, romance, social escapes, playful activities with children and the enjoyment of the arts, the theatre and musical performances. Give yourself a break and go out for a date. Preferably with someone who will pay the shot.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This continues to be your month to play! Book hotels, theatre tickets, musical performances, sports events, dinner reservations and fun times because you want to kick up your heels and go out in full dazzle. You're also interested in redecorating at home and making your home look more beautiful, because you like to entertain at this time of year. It's a wonderful excuse to dress up and have fun! Fiery Mars makes all your communications with others very direct and to the point. Even you are surprised at how verbally pushy you are. Just smile and looked perplexed that these words are actually coming out of your mouth. "Whaaat?"
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Your focus on home, family and your private life continues to be strong. In fact, an interaction with a parent could be significant. Nevertheless, playful times with children will please you. Some of you are also playfully flirting with younger, appealing faces. This is a good month because your communications with others are smoooooth and charming. (Yes, this helps the flirtations.) Many of you will make money from your words at this time through sales, marketing, acting, teaching and writing. Meanwhile, not only are you working hard to earn money, you're working just as hard to spend it! The Post also defined "cashtration" as "the act of buying a house, which renders the subject financially impotent for an indefinite period of time." True.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Fiery Mars is in your sign now boosting your energy and making you a force to contend with. For the most part, this is a wonderful thing because it revs you up and helps you to work and accomplish a lot. However, sometimes too much is too much, in which case, it will behoove you to do some physical exercise to blow off some of this pent-up energy within you. Meanwhile, you're very keen to talk to others at this time because you have something to say. You are also busy shopping for beautiful things for yourself and loved ones. (It's Venus. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This week is the perfect time to buy wardrobe goodies because you will like what you see in the mirror. In fact, make an effort to buy and augment your wardrobe for the rest of the month because you will like the results. (Astrology is all about timing and helping us to do the right thing at the right time.) Ironically, because your focus is on finances right now, you are working hard to earn your money. And the planet Mercury makes you interested in all kinds of intellectual activities. This is not the week to settle down - au contraire! The tempo of the events in your life is fast! "I'm late! I'm late! For a very important date!"
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
The Sun continues is in your sign for another week boosting your energy, attracting people to you and thrusting you in the midst of favourable situations. This is advantageous so make the most of it. Secret love affairs might be taking place for some of you; (in fact, they are). All of you are physically active with friends and groups right now; and perhaps, in a strong competition with someone. Meanwhile, with Jupiter at high noon in your chart, you look great to others. People have confidence in you, which is why this is your time to make your pitch. And sure enough, Mercury is filling your mind with moneymaking ideas! It's all coming together.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
With fiery Mars at the top of your chart now, you are fired up with ambition. You easily identify with what you're doing, which is why you will work so hard to succeed. This is a good time to accomplish things but there is a downside: First, you want to be your own boss. Secondly, parents, employers and bosses and such might feel threatened because of your high energy. (They will!) Be aware of this. Obviously, conflicts with coworkers might also arise. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
