All Signs
It's been said that the future is much like the present only longer. And that's how I feel about this week because there are no major planetary changes. Yes, Neptune stops being retrograde. Mercury moves into Sagittarius. But for the main part, this week is a holding pattern with the same strong emphasis of the Sun and Mercury in Scorpio and Venus and Mars in Libra. Next week, there will be a shift into Sagittarius but until then, it's steady as she goes. I like nautical terms but I know nothing about boats. I do however, live on an island, and my guy was once a commercial fisherman. Whenever we fight, he just shrugs and says, "Hey, I'm catch and release."
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is another week where you have to bite your tongue when dealing with partners and close friends because Mars is opposite your sign. And remember - Mars is your ruler and denotes fiery energy! Right now this energy is opposite you, creating tension between you and others. It makes it difficult for you to give in or compromise. On the positive side, it makes it easy for you to air your differences. Fortunately, fair Venus will ameliorate these negative forces because Venus promotes affection and a mutual bonding. So it will be an intense, passionate week with lots of make up sex. "I love you." "I hate you." "I love you." "I hate you." "I love you!"
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This is the last week that the Sun and Mercury will be opposite your sign. This will not occur again for another year. This means that as you work hard to bring your affairs to a climax, others will oppose you. Be especially careful with bosses and people in authority. It's been six months since your birthday, and where you have prepared carefully - you will succeed. But this can also be a time of failure - little failures - because of all this opposition to you. These little failures might have occurred in the last few months, but the truth of them now is becoming clear to you. At this stage in your life, you are learning to rely more on yourself, which is a good thing since you are approaching a career peak in your life in 2020. Hang in there!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Lucky you! Venus and Mars are still in a fun part of your chart for the rest of the month promoting romance, love affairs, parties, social occasions, fine dining, the theatre and the good life. (Venus can do that.) Meanwhile, Mars will invigorate your playful energy, making you competitive and aggressive in your approach to fun and romance. (For the rest of the year!) Mars is connected to your desire nature, especially physical lovemaking, which means you feel hot and sexy! And attractive! Hey, if you feel attractive, then you are attractive because that's how it works. Nevertheless, you still have your nose to the grindstone as you work hard to get better organized.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Like Gemini, you have lots of playful opportunities. That's because the Sun is going through your Fifth House encouraging you to get out and have a good time! You want to be free to express yourself. You feel lighter than usual about everything and your interest in romance, children's activities, the arts, vacations and social diversions is strong. Naturally, you will seek out fun-loving friends and acquaintances. Meanwhile, continue to redecorate and tweak your digs to make your home more beautiful because this will please you. Real-estate opportunities look good. Find some of your delicious recipes because this is a great week to entertain at home. Yummers!
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
For the next week, your focus continues to be on home, family and your domestic life. This is fine because you have some home repairs you want to see done - preferably by someone else and preferably for free. Venus and Mars are still in the part of your chart that influences your style of communicating with others. Mars makes you aggressive. (Yeah, you've been in attack mode for the last week or so.) That's because Mars makes you identify with your beliefs right now. On the upside, it helps you to sell, market, write, teach and act because you will put so much of yourself into what you have to say. "Now hear this!"
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Your busy pace continues with short trips, conversations with everyone, errands plus increased reading, writing and studying. Interactions with siblings will be important. All this activity is stimulating! If you can grab a quick vacation - you'll love it. This is the perfect time to tell others what you feel about something. But remember, it's hard to keep your shirt on when you need to get something off your chest. Oy! You will spend big on certain items now because you identify with what you own. You also want to make what you own work for you. Financial opportunities look good. You can make more money now as well as spend it. Ka-ching!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Venus will stay in your sign for the rest of the month, and Mars will stay in your sign for the rest of the year. What does this mean? Well, Mars represents aggressive energy, and when it lines up with your sign, it makes you work hard to further your own interests and assert yourself. You'll have no trouble going after what you want. Mars boosts your energy and makes it easy to work harder and longer. But Mars is independent and does not like to be bossed around, so you will be touchy if others tell you what to do! Yup. This energy lasts for the rest of the year. Fortunately, Venus is around for the rest of the month softening rough edges. Coochy coo!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Make the most of this last week with the Sun in your sign because the Sun boosts your energy and attracts favourable situations and people to you. With Mercury in your sign as well, you're busy schmoozing. "Shops must be visited. Money must be spent!" Meanwhile, Venus and Mars are now hidden in your chart, encouraging secret love affairs and clandestine activities. (Right up your alley.) Actually, Mars will be hidden in your chart for the rest of the year, which makes it tough for you to get credit for what you do. It also brings out old habit patterns and self-defeating acts that you thought were history. Unconsciously, you might be your own worst enemy for the next few months. If you are upset with others - instead, look inward. Confront yourself.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Has it occurred to you lately that nothing has occurred to you lately? For the last month, the Sun and Mercury have been "hiding" in your chart, encouraging you to work alone or behind the scenes. To counter this, Venus encourages activities with artistic, creative friends; while Mars encourages competition and physical activity in sports. "He shoots, he scores!" Just bide your time because on Sunday, Nov. 22, the Sun will return to your sign for the first time in a year, giving you a chance to recharge your batteries big time. Your life will go from being hidden - to being front and centre. "Look at me, everyone!"
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Your ambition will be aroused for the rest of this year, which means you intend to go after what you want and get it. Oh yeah. The only downside is you might steamroll over others and create tension with bosses because they feel threatened by your efforts to get ahead. Fortunately, for the rest of this month, fair Venus will soften things; and even promote a romantic relationship with a boss or someone richer. (A wealthy partner is a wonderful labour-saving device.) This continues to be a popular week. Enjoy the company of younger people. Share your hopes and dreams with others to get their feedback.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
For one more week, the Sun is at the top of your chart casting a "flattering" light on you, which is why others think you are so capable. Don't do anything to dissuade them of this notion. Travel opportunities continue for the rest of the month; and indeed, for the rest of the year, you will push your chances to explore more of life through further education, courses, travel, talking to people from different backgrounds and exploring your own backyard. This is still a great time to talk to bosses and authority types. Just schmooze and let them admire you. I'm serious. It's all smoke and mirrors.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
For the next week, you continue to be excited about travel plans and exploring publishing, the media, medicine, the law and higher education.
