All Signs
This week, the Sun is in Aries, which means the Full Moon on Saturday will be in Libra. Aries and Libra are opposite signs, and every month the Full Moon is opposite the sign of the Sun. Also this week, Mercury moves into Aries and Mars moves into Taurus. So let's take a look at how these three changes affect us. I see now how the notion of spring cleaning is true! Once the Sun and Mercury enter Aries, everyone wants to jumpstart something new and fresh. That's what Aries is all about - new, fresh and undiscovered! As this energy permeates our lives, we're dying to say goodbye to winter ("Enuff awreddy!"). We want to move forward to an exciting, yet-to-be-discovered future. I feel this, too; even though I know the future is much like the past only longer and more expensive.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Except for the Full Moon on Saturday, you're sitting pretty this week. Naturally, you are empowered because the Sun is in your sign (this is the only time all year this happens). The Sun empowers and energizes you and attracts people and auspicious circumstances to you. Mercury in your sign makes you eager to communicate to others. But Mercury also gives you detachment and a chance to examine yourself. ("Does this room make my ass look big?") And Mars will spur you to earn money. So although you are powerful, energetic and eager to communicate; by Wednesday, as you start to approach the Full Moon, you will need to be patient with others. By Monday, all will be well again, if you haven't alienated someone. Remember: A closed mouth gathers no feet.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You will be keen to do research in the next few weeks because you want answers to questions and solutions to problems. With Mars in your sign for the next six weeks, you will be fiery and assertive. Factoid. Mars will give you the energy to stand up for yourself and the rights of others as well. Explore outdoor exercise and athletics because this will be good for you. This is an excellent time to shop for wardrobe goodies for yourself. But the Full Moon on Saturday will create tension between you and coworkers or customers from about midweek onward. Keep this in mind if things get crunchy. After the Full Moon peaks, these problems will diminish or even disappear. Poof!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
This month you will become more involved with younger people. "My salad days, when I was green in judgment." (Jake Speir) Mercury will attract young people to you and you will love this. It might even lead to your involvement with a group. "I'm gonna coach the team." Meanwhile, Mars indicates a secret love affair for many of you. (What? What kind of team is this?) Don't ruin a solid meaningful relationship for a mere bonbon, tempting though it might be. Meanwhile, in another part of the forest, you might have increasing difficulty with children, lovers, friends or members of groups because from Wednesday onward, the Full Moon is waxing until Saturday. And it ain't waxing lyrical.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This week the Sun is at high noon in your chart casting a flattering light on you, which is why everyone notices and admires you. Mercury is at the top of your chart as well, which means you're running around like you're sitting on an outboard motor. The next few weeks are an excellent time to talk to bosses, employers and superiors, especially if you want to push forward in your job. Feisty Mars might stir up competition with friends and groups; however, Mars will also help you define goals and actively pursue them. Grab opportunities to enjoy physical activity with others, sports conferences and fun sex. But be patient with authority figures this weekend because you'll want to stay out of trouble during the Full Moon.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You will love to study and explore new ideas in the next few weeks because you are curious and keen to learn new things. In fact, you will adore studying anything that intrigues you. You will want to travel. (Ah, the thrill of a great hotel.) The reason you want to open up your world is because for the first time in two years, fiery Mars is moving across the top of your chart arousing your ambition and making you enthused and ready to grab more of life! And you won't hesitate to defend your ideas. Keep an eye on the Full Moon on Saturday because the closer you get to it, the more accident-prone you will become. Pay attention to everything you say and do.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Mercury is your ruler. As it shifts signs this week, it moves into the part of your chart that makes you want to research financial matters, inheritances, taxes, debt, insurance and shared property. You'll be busy crossing your t's and dotting your i's. Fiery Mars will crank your creative intellectual curiosity as well by igniting your interest in religious beliefs, the law and philosophy. You will love putting energy into expanding your mind, preferably through travel. Meanwhile, the Full Moon this weekend might create difficulties about shared property and inheritances. Oh well, at least, you've done your homework.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Mercury is opposite your sign for the next few weeks, which is a wonderful opportunity to hash things out with others and exchange ideas so that you can feel intellectually stimulated! This is also a good time to enter contracts and negotiations. Fiery Mars will help you assert yourself in these negotiations so that you can defend your best interests in shared property and such. All is not sweetness and light, however, because the only Full Moon in your sign all year occurs this Saturday. This will increase friction between you and others from Wednesday onward. Fortunately, you are a master of diplomacy. It's time to show us how it's done.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You're busy with so many projects, in addition to which, you are keen to improve your health and get better organized in your life. Pretty tall order! Plus you want to take a hands-on approach to your job. You might even tackle repairs or mend professional relationships. (Or ditch them.) Relations with partners are tricky now because fair Venus is opposite your sign paving way for smoochy boochies with your main squeeze. However, Mars opposite your sign makes you easily annoyed with others! This is why you are blowing hot and cold, which is often your style anyhow. Be nice to coworkers as the weekend Full Moon approaches.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
In the next few weeks, you will love mental games for their own sake - crosswords, Sudoku, puzzles and fun stuff. If you inadvertently learn something along the way - bonus. You will also feel prankish and a bit of a trickster. Nevertheless, Mars will rev your engines so that you will want to work hard. In fact, you will be in a take-charge mood, and happy to do the work as long as you get the credit. You will likely delegate and get others on board to help you as well. The Full Moon on Saturday will create tension with lovers, romantic interests and children. But I think you will handle this smoothly, because basically you're in a lighthearted mood this week.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Your creative juices are flowing! This is why you're excited to express your creativity. Sports will appeal along with the theatre, the arts and playful activities with children. Use this creative time in any way you want. Go do that voodoo that you do so well. Meanwhile, some of you will tackle home repairs and have important family discussions. Be careful because the Full Moon on Saturday could trigger conflicts at home or with an authority figure in the family. Just remember that after the Full Moon peaks, things get better in 48 hours. Use your hammer to build useful things; not knock them down.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Your eagerness to communicate to others is strong now. Talk to siblings, friends and neighbours because you have something to say. Yada yada yada. This could relate to an insane situation at home because increased chaos and activity will occur. This might be due to renovations, family or visiting relatives. Relations with parents will be testy. Hopefully, you won't need an orphandectomy (that's when you get your parents removed). Be chill. The Full Moon this weekend will encourage accident-prone energy for you. Definitely pay attention to everything you say and do. Don't squat with your spurs on.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Ka-ching! The planet Mercury now joins the Sun in your House of Money. This makes you think about earnings, assets, and at a deeper level, whatever you value. It's good to know what you value because how else can you make important decisions? An interesting dynamic takes place this week because fiery Mars enters the part of your chart the controls your communications. This will make you mentally sharp. You will identify with your beliefs. Naturally, this can lead to arguments. Meanwhile, the Full Moon encourages disputes about shared property, taxes and debt. Yikes! Listen to yourself, in case you're going off the deep end. Splash!
