Because this is my first weekly column of the year, here is brief highlight for 2015 (once again) because not everyone read my annual forecasts. And anyhow, it's good to have another review of the year so that you're ready for the snap quiz I'm going to spring on you next Thursday. It's an advantage knowing what the year ahead can bring because you know how to play your hand better. You know when to hold and when to fold; and you also know when to the bet the farm. (That is not a set up for a pig karate pork chop joke.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You are now out of boot camp. What a relief! Soon you will see the goal that you want to achieve in the next few years because it is almost in sight. (You are approaching a career peak in 2018-2019.) Meanwhile, back at the airport, all Aries have the best opportunity for a vacation that they have had in over a decade. Do plan on a getaway, whether small or major. Relations with children will improve. Romance will be the most promising it's been in years! Your family might also expand. And with fruit trees in abundance, ye shall eat and become filled and become fat. Oops, time to let out another pleat in the shower curtain?
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Two different messages exist for you this year. On one hand, the resources of others will diminish or end, which means you have to get along on less. This forces you to rely on yourself, which is something you do very well. On the other hand (which fortunately, still has rings) this is the best year for you to invest in real estate, to buy or sell, to speculate or improve and invest in your own home. Not only that, family relationships will improve in a lovely, warm way as family members become more generous to each other and more joyful. Late in the year, romance and vacations await! Yay!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Your happiness quotient will be high this year because you will manifest the power of positive thinking. This is why your attitude to everyone and everything around you will be more generous, more tolerant and understanding. Relations with siblings will improve. In fact, siblings might benefit you financially. All your communications with others will improve and your plans for the future will be bigger and more optimistic. Now for the small print: Saturn will oppose you, which will create tension with partnerships. This means that partnerships that have outlived their usefulness will end; and all partnerships will undergo readjustments. (There will be a small charge for alterations.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
And oh how the money rolled in. This is your best chance to improve your earnings and your assets in over a decade, so it's important to plan for this and believe it is a reality. This boon will come to you this year and next, depending on when you were born. In addition, work-related travel is likely. The essence of what to expect this year is that you will have the ability to actualize whatever it is you most value. Meanwhile, one of the reasons you will earn more is you will work hard this year and next. Ah yes, it's better to have tried and failed than have failed to try, even though the result is the same.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You really have it good in 2015. (Try not to look so smug.) The last time Jupiter was in your sign in the beginning of the year was 2003. The next time will be 2027, and after that 2039. Don't take this blessing for granted! It signals the beginning of a major 12-year cycle of growth for you. It attracts good fortune, luck, important people and resources. Even the spiritual dimension of your life will be greater. Admittedly, children will be a more serious responsibility; and privately, you will wonder what it is you really want to be when you grow up. But hey - the wind is at your back. Enjoy!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
The most important thing to do this year is to establish a home for yourself. You need to do this so that you have a solid base from which to sally forth into the world to slay dragons. You cannot ignore this and leapfrog into something else. Your top priority is to figure out where you want to live and how you want to live. For many, this will involve home repairs. For some, it could involve yet another move. A family member, especially a parent, might be an increased responsibility. By the time of your birthday, lucky Jupiter will be in your sign for the first time since 2003. Tra la, tra la, it is to laugh! When this happens, it will be the beginning of a long lucky streak for you.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You enjoy the company of others, and this is why you will love 2015, which is a popular year for Librans. To put a finer point on it, it's more than just a popular year for you; it's a year where all your interactions with others will benefit you. That's why it's important to reach out to help others or ask for information or join clubs because all this interaction will be good for you. Meanwhile, you're entering a two to three-year window when a job change or a residential move is likely. Even if you don't think so. At this stage in your life, you will have experiences that help you to fine-tune how you talk, think and listen to others.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This is a fabulous year for Scorpios because lucky moneybags Jupiter is crossing the top of your chart. This will happen only four or five times in your adult life. For example, it happened last in 2003; and it will happen again in 2027 and also in 2039. These are all times when your reputation with others will shine! People will admire you and think that you have it. (Whatever "it" is.) So do milk this for all it's worth. This is your year to get ahead. It will likely also involve work-related travel. Most of you will get a promotion or have greater success; however, some will use this opportunity to change to a field of work that is related to Jupiter; for example, medicine, higher education, healing, the law or travel.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This is a significant turning point for you because you are now entering a whole new 30 year transit. In the last few years you gave up many things. Now you are in a new sandbox, possibly a situation that is so new you will change your daily wardrobe. So in some ways, this is a struggle because you are stepping into the unknown, and the unknown is always fearful by virtue of being unknown. To beautifully counteract this, Jupiter will bring you opportunities to do what you love best! This year you will have tons of chances to travel and explore avenues in higher education, medicine, the law, publishing and the media. You will love this!
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Two contradictory influences are at play for you in 2015. One will give you things and one will take things away. You are now entering a three-year window of time where you will be giving up what is no longer relevant in your life - saying goodbye to job or relationships and giving a possessions as well. However, you will also benefit from the wealth of others because this is a blessing for you right now. This means that what others own will easily come to you or you will have a chance to use what they own. It's an excellent year to get a mortgage, or a loan or an inheritance, you might also benefit indirectly through the increased wealth of your partner. Ka-ching!
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Like Libra, you will enjoy a wonderful, popular year in 2015. In fact, your relations with members of the general public will be excellent and more specifically, your relations with partners and close friends will be fabulous. That's why this is a great year to marry or to form new partnerships. You will also meet different kinds of people who will help you out in various ways. Again, this is a good year to consult experts - counsellors, lawyers, consultants or astrologers. Many of you will become more involved with foreign people and foreign places. If you do marry, it could be someone who is older and more established. Enjoy your popularity but remember to the true to yourself.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
A double whammy blesses you this year because this the culmination of a 30-year transit for you, which means this is a time of recognition and harvest for you. Whatever makes you feel proud of your achievements will occur - perhaps a graduation, a marriage, a special birth, a promotion or awards and kudos. "I did it!" Meanwhile, in addition to this fabulous opportunity, you also have a chance to improve your job by getting a better job, better duties, better working conditions or even a better boss. This means that everything to do with your work and your reputation among your peers has never been better.
