All Signs
This week both the Sun and Venus will dance with Neptune -- but Neptune is a tricky planet! It's smoke and mirrors. Basically, Neptune dissolves what Saturn builds. It can dissolve our ego and our sense of reality, which makes us feel confused, full of doubt and rudderless. It can make people believe what is not true. And yet, it has a flip side. Neptune is the higher octave of Venus. Neptune is sheer perfection - the beautiful, exquisite ideal. Neptune is the music Beethoven heard - Venus is what he wrote. Neptune can make us selfless and willing to put the needs and wants of others before our own. It can inspire us or cut us off at the knees. Should we be ambivalent about Neptune? Well, yes and no.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Be careful this week because you might be mildly confused about how to handle dealing with shared property, inheritances, taxes and debt or anything that you share jointly with others. One reason you have to be careful is you might be generous to a fault. After all, you have to protect your own best interests as well. Another reason is you might not have all the facts, or things might look different than the way they actually are. And yet, Neptune is invariably an influence that can also inspire the heady heights of romantic intimacy and love with someone. "My one true love!" As Orson Welles once said, "If you want a happy ending, that depends of course, on where you stop the story."
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Relationships with partners and close friends might swing between extremes this week. They could be wonderfully ideal or they could be disappointing. If they are disappointing, the disappointment will, in all likelihood, depend on whether or not you have expressed your expectations to someone. Because we all know that unexpressed expectations always lead to disappointment. Who can be a mind reader? Alternatively, you might idealize a partner or friend, and this is not wise either, because then you expect a lot from this "perfect" person. "My hero!" To put a positive spin on things, you will feel caring and compassionate to others; and this is good.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Relations with coworkers will be interesting this week. You might feel particularly sympathetic to someone if you think they are struggling or need help or advice. By contrast, you might be deceived or suckered in by someone who wants you to do their work for them. You might also be excited about a project or product or a different approach to something because you think it is the perfect answer to something. No matter what occurs, step back and take a look at things. Give yourself a chance to give everything a sober second thought. And if you're lucky, you might just boost your income or get a raise.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This is definitely a tricky week for you. But it has wonderful potential. On the upside, you are in touch with your Muse and you can be wonderfully creative! Therefore, if you are involved in any kind of artistic project, let your imagination be free! Your ability to visualize and see relationships where others do not will be excellent. You will also be very sympathetic with children at this time. Similarly, romance can be dizzily ideal. (Gasp.) But you also have to remember that romance is never really ideal because it involves two people who are ordinary human beings who both take their pants off one leg at a time.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
All Leos feel very strongly about their families. (Lion pride.) They are loyal. And when it comes to Leo parents, criticize their kids at your peril! This week Leos feel quite idealistic and tenderhearted about their family members. Mostly, this should work well. But don't get too bossy. (You know who you are.) And of course, you might have an opportunity to help a family member, which is a good thing. However, you can also use this Neptunian energy to redecorate your home and make your home appear more comfortable, elegant and welcoming. Neptune can easily seduce one to spend more money because something is impossibly irresistible. Beware! You have been warned!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This week you will range between being caught up in a dreamy fog, where you daydream and fantasize a lot -- versus having the genuine ability to visualize something or encapsulate it so that you know what it is you want. Quite likely, you will fall somewhere in between these two extremes. Conversations with others, especially with siblings, neighbours and relatives, will be mutually sympathetic because you will feel concerned if someone has a problem or is suffering. But those of you who write, counsel, teach or act can really use this influence to your advantage! You can thrill others with your words! You can inspire, edify or perhaps, yes -- completely confound.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Be careful with financial negotiations this week, especially at the beginning of the week, because you are inclined to see things the way you want them to be. (Just this week - not always.) So you might have rose-coloured glasses on when it comes to predicting your ability to earn money. You might agree to something that looks better than it actually is. Similarly, you might spend your money on something gorgeous and elegant and later, wonder "What was I thinking?" Neptune is so tricky! It could reveal something wonderful to you or make you think you're seeing it and you are not. To be safe, avoid unusual, major purchases; and avoid major business decisions.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You will be unusually charming this week; there is no doubt about this. People will see you in idealized terms, and they will not be far from the truth because fair Venus is in your sign cloaked by Neptune. This means you will appear to be whatever it is they want you to be. How appropriate your favourite season is upon us! (Spooky Hallowe'en!) You will easily charm, deceive, entice and mesmerize whomever you set your eyes upon. But do be aware that if you want to genuinely share something of great import, others might not hear you in the way that you think they are hearing you. It's almost as if you are enveloped in mystical, fairy dust. All is illusion.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Your ideals will be aroused this week, which is why you will fight the good fight for any cause that is dear to you, especially if it is a cause related to animals and relieving the suffering of animals. (A thing you cannot abide.) Whatever you turn your attention to will make you put your needs second, so that you can help someone else. (At least, so that you can do the right thing and save the world before bedtime.) But do not fall into martyr mode. And be sure that you have the correct facts. Having said that, it's true that you might be able to truly help someone and make a difference in their life. If so, this will benefit them but it will also benefit you.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Relations with friends and members of groups will flow smoothly this week. Expect an easy give-and-take with others, especially if you are dealing with charitable organizations and groups that have a mandate to make the world a better place. This will appeal to your idealism, which is aroused this week. Friendships will be cozy and warm; in fact, a platonic relationship could heat up into something romantic. Share your creative, artistic ideas with others. No sense hoarding them because you will probably have many more ideas in the next year. You will feel a lot satisfaction from doing good work now. You might also get a clearer idea of where you are and where you want to go.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
This is a great week to network with others to promote important causes, especially causes that will improve your community or protect the environment. You might need the help of someone in authority, or you might be the person from whom others request assistance or approval. Either way, do what you can because everyone on the planet is inclined to do the right thing and seek out meaningful answers for important issues this week. Meanwhile, some of you might develop a crush on your boss or someone in authority. If so, you will really be swept off your feet! But remember - you are the person who is doing the sweeping because beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Because your appreciation of beauty is heightened this week, by all means, give yourself a chance to enjoy beautiful creations! Visit museums, art galleries, university campuses, libraries, gorgeous, architectural buildings and whimsical, delightful boutiques. Appreciate what others are doing! Let yourself feel restored and replenished by seeing beauty! You will also derive satisfaction from helping those in need in distant countries. Meanwhile, romance with someone from another country or a different background might begin. If so, it will be a love that is unselfish and spiritual. This person could be "too good to be true." Hopefully, this is not the case but the early stages of romance are always that way, aren't they? (Sigh)
