All Signs
This week the Sun enters Scorpio for the first time in a year. Scorpio is the sign of hidden things so how appropriate that Halloween occurs under its watch. Mercury stops being retrograde on Oct. 26; but even though it goes forward, it will not catch up to where it first went retrograde until Nov. 10. Wait until that later date for major purchases like cars and computers. Venus is also in Scorpio and Mars moves from Sagittarius to Capricorn. The sign of Capricorn is a long-lived one and it deals with Father Time. Ah yes, do not regret growing old. It is a privilege denied to many. And the best way to stay young is get regular sleep, eat healthy and lie about your age.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Because your passionate nature is aroused in the next month, you will feel passionate about everything, especially wanting to become a better person. You want to experience life at a gut level. "I want to live!" This is why some of you will feel the need for deep self inquiry or self scrutiny. "Who am I, really?" Your sex drive will be amped and your focus on ex-partners will still be strong. Many of you will want to travel or get further schooling to expand your world. This is also a good time to ask for a loan or a mortgage because other people will give you things - gifts, advantages and favours. You might also benefit indirectly through the good fortune of your partner. Ka-ching!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
For the first time in a year, the Sun is opposite your sign, which means you need more sleep. (The Sun is your source of energy and it's now as far away from you as it gets all year.) This oppositional Sun also makes you focus on partnerships and close friendships. Now is perfect the time to observe your style of relating to others. Since late 2012, partnerships have been challenged. (Aagghh!) Fortunately, this stressful influence will end next year but it is still present. But ah ha! On the 23rd, fair Venus slips into your House of Marriage smoothing things in a gentle, sweet way for the next three weeks. Very nice, indeed.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You want to manage your life effectively. "It's time!" You want to be productive, efficient and feel confident you can reach out and put your hand on whatever you want. ("My canned goods are alphabetized.") To succeed, give yourself the right tools and support materials to do a great job. Buy file folders, labels, shelving, cleaning equipment - whatever you need. You want better physical efficiency and good health as well. (Oh yes.) However, you will also have to support someone with your service. Meanwhile, a work-related romance might begin. (Hmmm, old flames are back in your life and tension with partners still exists.) Fortunately, this tension subsides after the 26th. Thank gawd.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You have a promising month ahead because the Sun now moves into the fun part of your chart attracting vacations, parties and fun invitations to social occasions. Enjoy the arts, movies and the theatre plus playful activities with children. It will also energize love affairs, romance and flirtations. Whee! It might attract new love and it will rejuvenate existing relationships. Meanwhile, Mars will ensure that you work hard while retrograde Mercury continues to attract family members and relatives to your doorstep. This is a good time to tackle home repairs you've been avoiding. "I'm tired of this pail in the middle of the bed. Let's fix the hole in the roof!"
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Now your focus turns to home, family and your private life. Not only will you want to cocoon more at home with private activities; you will also want to redecorate. Fair Venus will encourage entertaining at home because Venus brings indulgence in good food and drink. (Slurp.) And why not? With lucky Jupiter in your sign for the first time in 12 years, things are going your way! Plus Mars gives you energy to party and enjoy competitive sports. However, in a week, Mars will rev your engines and help you work hard. This is no surprise because you gear up for December because you enjoy the holidays! Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You will be busy juggling lots of activities and taking short trips in the next four weeks. Expect an accelerated pace and a busy schedule. In addition, you will start to notice how much beauty there is in your daily surroundings and not only that - how much love there is in your daily world. (Gosh!) You have a lovely month ahead! Admittedly, retrograde Mercury has slowed down cash flow and some earning potential. Cheques in the mail are late. Tension on the home front has been a drag but it will subside by the end of October. Enjoy short drives and a chance to introduce art or something beautiful to your neighbourhood.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Now your focus turns to money, cash flow and earnings. You will think of your assets, your possessions and everything you own. The bottom line is this: How well are you doing at the art of living? Do the things you own - own you or are you in charge? Are you weighed down by taking care of too much stuff? After all, your possessions are supposed to serve your needs and not vice versa. Nevertheless, you will shop for beautiful treasures for yourself and loved ones in the next few weeks. This same influence will help you explore new ways of earning money. Fiery Mars adds vim and vigour to all your communications with others; while Jupiter continues to boost your popularity. Things are swell, kiddo!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Your birthday is one month away, which means your personal year is coming to an end. Therefore, this is the best time all year to give thought to what you want your new year to be all about. Instead of letting life just happen to you while you cope with surprises and do damage control, why not set goals and give yourself guidelines so you can steer yourself in the direction you want to go? Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

This is why people will give you increased responsibilities or ask you to do things. Say yes because you won't have to do anything special to dazzle them. (Lighting is everything.) Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
You want to get outta Dodge. You need a change of scenery. Grab every opportunity to travel for pleasure and see more of the world. You can also expand your horizons through study and film. Romance with someone from another culture could begin now. Meanwhile, everything to do with your job will flow smoothly. This is the time to get a better job or better duties because lucky Jupiter will help you do this; in addition to which, your ambition is aroused because Mars is at the top of your chart. So everything is in place for you to have fun travel and improve your job. That's it in a nutshell. Not too shabby.
