All Signs
This week there's good news and there's good news. As the Sun joins Jupiter in Leo, it increases opportunities for everyone to enjoy pleasure, fun vacations, saucy flirtations and playful times with kids. The other piece of good news is: After being in Libra since December, fiery Mars finally moves on! Yay! Every two years, Mars gives aggressive energy to one sign for about six weeks; however, Mars has amped Libra for eight months! This week, that jackhammer motion stops and the big winners will be Aries and Libra, and to a lesser degree, Cancer and Capricorn. But we will all feel relief in one area of our lives, and new energy in another. A welcome change!
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Your life will get so much better! I'm reminded of meeting a man on a street who was Aries. He said his wife was also Aries and they had been married for decades but were now contemplating a divorce. I urged him to wait until August. I told him about Mars being in Libra since December, aggravating partnerships and close friendships. He said, "That's when it began." This eight-month sojourn of Mars in Libra (instead of six weeks every two years) has been most unusual. The last time something like this occurred was 1982. In the next few weeks, you will feel more tolerant and patient in partnerships and close relationships, as well as more lighthearted and fun loving. Would I kid you?
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This month your focus turns to home, family and your domestic world. This is a wonderful time to entertain at home. Invite the gang over for good food and drink. (You always prepare a good table for your guests.) For some, an interaction with a parent could be significant. But in the months ahead, all of you will start to think of ways to improve where you live by either going all the way and buying a new home entirely; or by renovating your current home and acquiring special, beautiful things that make you feel more affluent. Keep in mind that real-estate speculation will also benefit you in the coming year. Ah yes, home is where the art is.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You hit the pavement running this month because the Sun in Leo accelerates your daily pace with a busier schedule. Short trips, increased interaction with siblings, neighbours and relatives, plus mucho conversations with everyone will keep you active. Some of you will read and write more than usual as well. ("I'm busier than a mosquito at a nudist colony!") But you'll love this faster pace because it will be upbeat and happy. Plus, you will start to work hard in your job because you will take pride in what you're doing. In fact, in the next 6 to 8 weeks, you will have lots of energy to work - just make sure you get the credit. "Look what I did!"
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You will feel a shift of energy in two areas this week. The insane chaos and tension that plagued you for months at home will diminish. Depending on if you were born early or late in your sign, this will happen immediately or it could take four weeks. But what a relief! And hey -- you survived. Ironically, this tension from home translates to an upbeat energy with vacations, entertaining diversions, the hospitality industry, sports events, romantic liaisons and playful times with children. What was difficult will fade, and what is fun and pleasure will increase. Admittedly, disagreements with your kids will exist in the next month because of high temperatures and low fuses. The other shift will be a stronger focus on money and cash flow. Ka-ching!
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Last week Jupiter entered your sign for a year; and this week, the Sun follows to stay for four weeks rejuvenating you and giving you a chance to recharge your batteries for the next 12 months. This is your month to howl! You will attract people to you as well as favourable circumstances. You will also feel a strong need to express yourself and that's just fine. When it's your birthday month, your first duty is to yourself. (Because if you don't take care of yourself, you will be of no use to others.) Increased chaos and activity at home will occur in the next six weeks. Just cope as best you can. And you can.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Your people skills and ability to relate to others are becoming stronger. The position of Mercury and Venus makes you social, charming and diplomatic, especially with younger people, artists and creative types. Meanwhile, this week, Mars shifts into the part of your chart governing your style of communicating. It will make you identify with your beliefs and stand up for your rights. It will empower those of you who sell, market, teach, act and write because you will be eager to put forth your ideas. Meanwhile, this month, the Sun is hiding in your chart, which promotes contemplation and an opportunity to plan your new year ahead - i.e. birthday to birthday. Any ideas?
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Get ready for a popular month ahead because that's what's in the stars. Accept all invitations. Join classes, clubs and organizations. Friendships will be important and you will examine the role they play in your life. Socialize extensively because your association with others will benefit you. As you study your friendships, remember that the people you associate with are a reflection of yourself. You will also sense a desire to earn more money. Ka-ching! You'll be focused on what you own. Primarily, you want to make your possessions work for you. And you'll be spending money!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Oh boy! Fiery Mars moves into your sign this month for the first time since Sept. 2012. When Mars is in your sign for just six weeks, it's a good thing. It energizes you and makes you focused, proactive and ready to defend yourself. It heralds increased activity in your life and gives you the energy to work hard so you can show the world what you can do. ("Look Ma, no hands!") Meanwhile, back on stage, in the month ahead, the Sun will be at high noon in your chart, which is the only time all year this happens. This creates a flattering spotlight on you and makes people think you're the cat's meow. Connect the dots. This is your hour!
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Admit it. This year has been a bit difficult with friendships. Hard as it is to believe, others thought you were coming on a bit strong. Whatever the case - there have been difficulties, right? This is now a thing of the past. History. How wonderful to know that your relations with others will be happier and smoother - for years! (Having said that, I have to warn you that secret enemies might stir things up against you in the next two months.) Meanwhile, you want to travel and see new places and meet new faces. Do anything that gives you a change of scenery and a chance for some enlightening adventure. Romance dances swimmingly along. (How wonderful.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
In the coming month, your focus will be on shared property, inheritances, taxes, debt and anything that you own jointly with others. This could be the reason that you feel competitive with someone in the coming month. You certainly want to formulate goals and actively pursue them. Nevertheless, difficulties with others, especially friends, could arise. You can release some of this tension by enjoying physical activity, especially physical sports with others. Now is the time to join any group activity that lets you blow off some steam. Meanwhile, relations with partners and close friends are affectionate and sweet. It's a good month ahead.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Two slightly conflicting influences are at play now. Because the Sun is now opposite your sign for the next month, you are going to need more sleep. That's because the Sun is your source of energy and it is now as far away from you as it gets all year. Nevertheless, as Mars shifts signs this week, it introduces a renewed and aroused ambition in you. Rrrroar! You want to work hard to achieve something. Ideally, you will prefer to be your own boss. If not, you might find yourself in conflict with authority figures or others who share your projects. Be aware of this so that you can be diplomatic. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
After much angst and disputes concerning inheritances, shared property, debt and the wealth and resources of others - you are going to shift your focus to something that is much more fun. Travel opportunities and the chance to explore avenues in publishing, the media, medicine, the law and higher education will open up for you. You're entering a new world in some way. The next six weeks will open your eyes in a fresh way and teach you something valuable. And you're up for this!
