All Signs
This is a gentle reminder that this month is your last chance to buy cars, trucks, bikes, computers, cell phones, printers and Mercury-related items before Mercury slows down on May 28th. More important, do not start a business or important project after May 28th. (Duh?) Either do it this month or wait until after June 16th (when Mercury returns to the degree it was at when it went retrograde). Those are your celestial terms. (And it's not nice to fool with Mother Nature.) This week is business as usual. But is business ever really "as usual"? If things are tough - best not to slam the door on your way out in case you need to go back. Two wrongs do not make a right. But three rights will make a left.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Your focus continues to be on money and property (you might want to show something off that you own). But to a larger extent, you are cooking something on the back burner - and it has to do with your personal values. You want to establish greater control in your life through what you own. You certainly don't want to be victimized by it any more. Enuff! This week, something to do with shared property, inheritances, taxes and debt might come to a head. But fear not. On the whole, things are going swimmingly at home and with family. Continue to look for real-estate deals because they can benefit you. Some of you will make real -state purchases or changes; however, others will renovate or improve your home by getting something that makes you feel richer and happier where you live.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
In the way, this month is a turning point for you. Saturn is opposite your sign, which means something you started 14 years ago is coming to a culmination. Along with your achievements, you do have increased responsibilities, no question. And yet, this opposition makes you feel lonely and a bit cut off from others because Saturn is all about establishing boundaries and limitations. You will feel this in your relationships with others. (This is temporary.) Another thing to be aware of is your drive for duty at this time. (Duty before pleasure and all that.) Don't pay too high a price for this. You have needs! You like good food, good wine, good sex and a nice place to live. (Burp.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
In many ways, this is still a good time for you to lie low and hide in the weeds. That's because your personal year is ending and your new year has not yet begun. You might feel work-related stress and fatigue. Fortunately, fiery Mars will balance this with a strong drive to party, socialize and enjoy sports events. Mercury in your sign will encourage you to talk to everyone, literally. But aside from this playful energy to party and take vacations, there's a sense of waiting - of biding your time. It's like a lot of things are in the mix but not yet ready to be displayed or presented. Everything is double parked. Of course it's easy to park if you drive a forklift.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You will enjoy seeing everyone because this is a popular time for you. Challenges or difficulties with children or romantic partners are likely now. The thing is -- you need to find a balance between play and opportunities to express your creative side versus the genuine responsibilities you have to and for others. In the last year, a number of things have made life easier for you, even though chaos and increased activity at home have been maddening for months. In a about ten weeks, lucky, moneybags Jupiter will enter your House of Earnings to bring you opportunities of increased money and wealth. Not too shabby.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Important people continue to notice you, which you don't mind (not really). Since they see you in such flattering terms (and they do) why not use this to your advantage? Make your pitch about something! Go after what you want! One of the things that concerns you is your desire and need to solidify your home base. You want to feel secure about your home, your family and your personal life. Therefore, it will be wise to structure things as best you can because in about 10 weeks, glorious, lucky Jupiter will enter Leo for the first time since 2003. Who knows what doors will open then? Ding dong!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Wonderful opportunities to travel and expand your world exist for you now. Some of you are expanding your world through increased knowledge, learning and interacting with people from different backgrounds. Whatever the case - you are enhancing your experience of life. Your ability to deal with groups is strong now. People will follow your lead. However, something in your day-to-day activities might be an obstacle at this time. It might even be your own worried state of mind! It's a fact that partnerships and close friendships are confusing now. (You can't escape this.) But in all other things, you can speak with authority. Relax!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You are quite wrapped up in thoughts of debt, taxes, inheritances, shared property and insurance matters. (Yawn.) And you've been juggling money, accounts and major purchases. (You're very good at this.) You have lots of strong energy because Mars has been in your sign since November. Holy Biceps! And your reputation continues to shine with lucky Jupiter at the top of your chart. You wanted more? This week could be a turning point in an important financial transaction. Let's hope it helps things out. (As my aunt used to say, "Pay your rent. Your friends will always feed you.")
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
It's an understatement to say that you have been totally focused on partnerships and close friendships now. That's where it's at for you! And because of the opposition of Saturn to the Sun this week, it would appear that some kind of arrangement has been established or perhaps a hurdle has been overcome. It's like you have rounded the corner and have a better idea of the new direction you're headed. ("Are you sure the washrooms are down here?") Travel opportunities and chances to expand your world through cultural experiences, meeting people from other backgrounds, study, learning and trying your wings at new things offer exciting stimulation. "Makie's back in town!"
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Keep making To Do lists and staying on target because this is how you will feel best. You want to be organized, efficient, effective and purposeful. Not only are you tidying up loose details at work and at home - you're on a new health kick, too. Wonderful! Don't be afraid to think big and expand your ideas. You will likely get some money you need or the support from others to do the impossible because Jupiter will guarantee this. You are definitely in a position to benefit from the wealth of others. Ka-ching! Even though you are active, even competitive, with friends and groups right now; this is an excellent time to negotiate and talk to others. "Shops must be visited. Money must be spent."
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Give yourself permission to just have a good time! No you're not being irresponsible. It's in the stars. Make time for social occasions, fun luncheons, Happy Hours, sports events, the theatre, the arts, musical performances, playful times with kids, good conversation with friends and of course - toujours l'amour. (Be still my beating heart.) It's your turn to enjoy vacations and have fun! Factoid. Possibly, someone older or in a position of authority will not approve. (Might it even be your conscience?) Lighten up. (Anyhow - no amount of careful planning will ever replace dumb luck.)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You are extremely focused on home, family and your private world; and this week will be a turning point. It could be a turning point in terms of dealing with an authority figure in the family, or it could be a turning point in surmounting some obstacle. Whatever the case, things will definitely get easier from here on. You continue to have wonderful opportunities to improve your job, so stay tuned. Some of you are travelling or putting energy into publishing, the media, medicine and the law or doing something to expand and enhance your world. It will please you to do puzzles or mind games because you feel prankish and playful. It's true: Pleasure makes the hours seem short. (Time flies when you're unconscious.)
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Life is exhausting right now because the tempo of your days is accelerating. Everyone seems to want a piece of you! You have to plan short trips, run errands, talk to people, plus run your regular daily life (remember that?) and on top of all this, you are reading and writing more. Like what's with this? Fortunately, there is an exciting flavour to this pace. It's not hysterical and hectic - it's just I-have-to-be-on-my-toes. Fortunately, others will listen to you now. Nevertheless, you feel overburdened by something. It's like a gnawing worry. Don't let this get you down. Remember that you have the choice of response.
