All Signs
There are no major planetary aspects this week with the exception of the Full Moon on Sunday the 16th. So let's take a look at this year's influence from Jupiter. It never hurts to hear too much good news. I say, bring it on! Each sign has 30 degrees and although Jupiter in Cancer briefly reached 16 degrees, it quickly slipped back to 10 degrees. Then on Thursday, Jupiter began to move forward. This means if you were born in the last two thirds of the window of your sign, you have not yet really felt its benefits. For most, what I say below is coming in the future, and the true secret about the future is this: It's not to do what you like, but to like what you do. (I'm a sucker for longitudes and platitudes.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Jupiter will improve your home life and your relations with family members for this entire year. No question. For starters, family members and relatives will be more joyful with each other and more mutually generous. Major bonus! Not only that, something will cause you to feel richer or more affluent at home. You might buy beautiful things for where you live or be gifted them. Or you might move to bigger, nicer digs. Obviously, with this kind of blessing, real-estate deals will benefit you and bring future profits if they are initiated this year. In fact, you might benefit more by focusing your energy on your personal life rather than your career because this is where you can make great headway. Basically, it's time to put down roots.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Jupiter will expand your daily contacts this year. You will be more involved with neighbours, siblings and relatives. And it will be a positive involvement! Somehow these exchanges will benefit you, perhaps even financially. You might also have opportunities to get further training or learn something in a new field. Basically, what is happening is your optimism is growing. You expect better things for yourself, which is why you are consciously or unconsciously making bigger plans. Likewise, your attitude to everything around you becomes more generous, more tolerant and in turn, this kind of benefit comes back to you. It's all good!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Jupiter in your sign last year brought new opportunities for you, and for some, these are still taking place. Now you are slated to make money, which means your earnings will increase as well as your assets. Some of you might get a better paying job or see ways to make money on the side. Some of you will treat yourself to something delightful that makes you feel rich. But in the bigger picture, what is really happening is that Jupiter will allow you (along with previous opportunities) to manifest whatever it is that you truly value. How cool is that? Therefore, be aware of your values. Because that is what you will magnetize and attract to yourself this year.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Well, this is your year to shine because lucky Jupiter is in your sign! This is an indication that you are beginning a new 12-year cycle of growth. (Time to let out another pleat in your shower curtain?) It also means it's time to get in touch with who you are and discover your individuality. Because this is a fortunate blessing, all kinds of people and helpful resources will be drawn to you. Take advantage of this! Relationships with others will improve along with your self confidence and poise. Even the spiritual dimensions of your life will deepen and become enriched. Look for ways to expand your world through travel, education or exploring where you live with new eyes.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You want to secure your home so you have a solid anchor in the world for you and your family; nevertheless, you feel a shift in a relationship with a family member. Opportunities to learn more about the spiritual and religious dimensions of your life exist this year; and you will find it easier to forgive others as well as forgive yourself when you think of your past or youthful indiscretions. Some will encounter a spiritual teacher or become a teacher for others. The study of metaphysics will appeal and benefit you. Do not fall prey to the common confusion of cogito ergo sum, "I think, therefore I am" with cogito ergo dim sum, "Are these pork buns?"
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
It's important to know that friends and acquaintances can benefit you this year, which is why it's a good idea to schmooze. Join clubs, groups and associations. Accept invitations from friends. This is not the year to go it alone. Not only will others help you, you can also learn more about yourself. In addition, you might find that you are more idealistic, especially when it comes to defining your goals and dreams for the future. The secret to getting the most out of this year is this: The degree to which you can benefit others is in direct ratio to how others will benefit you. That old adage: "What goes around, comes around" really applies now. (What? Another platitude?)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
It's your year to shine! Your public reputation is richer and more positive than ever before. Everyone, especially people in authority, will be impressed. Many of you will get a promotion at work or public recognition plus the esteem of your peers. You feel more confident, especially professionally. Others seek your advice and input on things. Work-related travel is likely. By contrast, some of you might change your field of work to the law, medicine, healing or higher education and travel. If this is the case, then you cannot expect a promotion - instead you get the chance to change your field. Your increased confidence is because you are in touch with what it is you can do!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
"All aboard!" This is your year to travel. Take a road trip or book a flight somewhere. This opportunity to travel is symbolic of the fact that this is the year to expand your world - either through travel or further education and training. Perhaps you will meet people from different backgrounds and other cultures and their influence will expand and enrich your life? You might be provoked to explore your own backyard and be surprised at how novel and exciting the experience is. Many things will happen that encourage your consciousness to grow. Other things will happen that allow you to slough off old prejudices and beliefs.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This is the year to benefit through the wealth and resources of others. For starters, your partner might earn more money, which indirectly benefits you. Or you might receive an inheritance. You might benefit from the resources of others because people will let you use what they own. ("The key is under the mat, and our season tickets are on top of the fridge.") Perhaps you benefit from the resources of others through loans, mortgages or the settlement of debt? Whatever happens, you'll be laughing all the way to the bank. It's important to note that this is also a year of healing for you, especially if you have recently undergone tough times.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Once every 12 years lucky Jupiter is opposite your sign. This represents a time of culmination and a time where you can expand your world. Partnerships will benefit you both professional and personal, which is why this is an excellent year to marry or enter into a business partnership. Be open to meeting others because by forming working units or establishing relationships with others - you will benefit. You can even benefit by consulting experts - accountants, lawyers, counselors or astrologers. Some of you will enter into a relationship with someone from a foreign country. If you marry or partner with someone new now - they will be richer, older or worldlier. (A rich partner can be a great laboursaving device.)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Without question, you will continually improve your job this year. You can either get a better job, or better duties, or a more attractive work place. If there's a thorn in your side at work - this person will be transferred to Timbuktu. Work-related travel will increase for many. This same wonderful influence that improves your job opportunities, will also improve your health. In particular, your ability to heal yourself will be excellent. Admittedly, there is a chance for weight gain because from an astrological point of view - all this benefit includes nourishment. Just remember: A minute on the lips is a lifetime on the hips.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
This is a lucky year for you because Jupiter travels though the most fun part of your chart bringing you opportunities to expand your creative expression and boost your courage to be yourself and enjoy who you are without fear or apology. Your relations with children will improve and your kids will become a source of joy this year. Romance will sparkle. Singles will meet new love; existing relationships will reignite with romantic desire and playful promise. You can count on getting away for a vacation plus parties, sports events and all kinds of fun occasions will abound. It's your turn to have fun! Make sure you have footware that make you feel confident, hot and sexy because this is important for you.
