All Signs
This week has the Full Moon in Pisces on Thursday the 19th. Venus is lined up with Saturn the day before (a tad sobering for relationships). Pluto goes forward after being retrograde since April. However, the big news is Pluto's rare dance with Saturn. The upshot of this configuration is a boost of empowering energy for all of us in different parts of our lives, depending on our sign. Hopefully, it will be a boost for good activity. But the truth is, it's a boost of energy that can be used for harm as well. After all, energy is just energy. (George Carlin said, "Energy experts have announced the development of a new fuel made from human brain tissue. It's called assohol.")
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You have an amazing ability now to wrap up loose ends with shared property, taxes, debt, insurance, inheritances and anything to do with the wealth or possessions of others. You can make this happen. If you have to divide something, or give up something, you can do it on your terms. You've been forced to live with the values of others and incorporate them into your life, hopefully without destroying your own values and integrity. Not easy! Now you can define your boundaries with respect to dealing with others. You can also see how to effectively use the resources of others. This is empowering!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Saturn opposite your sign occurs once every 30 years. It lasts about two years. It's discouraging and makes you feel tired and world-weary. You feel your ambitions are thwarted and partnerships are troublesome. (Some relationships will end.) Nevertheless, you're regrouping and gathering your forces. If others make demands on you, you will show them you've got what it takes. You're strong enough to confront others and protect your own interests. The next seven years you will go forward to achieve important goals. For years you've been reinventing yourself and trying to prove yourself - and now you're out of the starting gate. "There they go!"
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You feel your effectiveness as a human being is being tested. You're busting your buns to prove to others what you can do. You feel overwhelmed and unappreciated. (Join the club. We've got jackets.) Actually, everything you're doing now will have its payoff soon. In the meantime, the dance between Pluto and Saturn helps you to work hard because you can focus on whatever you're doing. You're working harder than you have in years! Now others will see your achievements and appreciate your diligence. You are so in the zone - you even know how to restrict your energy and not waste it. Cool!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You can be effective dealing with children right now. You have an unerring instinct of how to slice through to the essence of things and remove whatever is extraneous. "Just the facts, ma'am." You are developing a better understanding of the forces that make you an individual. You see qualities you share with others and qualities that are different. You also know what you can demand of yourself and what your limits are. Isn't that the definition of maturity? Accepting your limitations and working to the best of your ability within them? I think so. Unless, like F. Scott Fitzgerald, you want to "... skip it and go from one childhood to another."
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Sobering realizations about family solidity, family responsibilities and how to secure your home base for the future are important now. You will amaze yourself at your ingenuity, strength and ability to solidify a solid refuge. If what you do benefits others as well as yourself, your ability to do this will be even more amazing! This hard work will pay off because once you know your home and family issues are resolved, you can swing your focus to other areas, especially work that appeals. You will begin to emerge from years of comparative dormancy (in terms of external success) and start to move in the direction of achieving your dreams.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
There's no question that you're in a two-to-three-year window of time where you will have a change of jobs, a change of residence or both. The dance of Pluto and Saturn this week will facilitate this process simply because you will work to make it happen. Your efforts will be powerful, enduring but also specific. You'll pull back where it's not necessary and push where it is. (Takes wisdom to make this distinction.) You'll also be powerful in all your communications to others. They will sense that you speak with authority even though you speak sparingly and to the point. You're doing your best Dirty Harry imitation: "You gotta ask yourself one question. 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?"
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You've felt a financial squeeze for a while now. And yes, it seems to be getting worse. Nevertheless, you're juggling your plates so skillfully that you can really make your money count. You can use your possessions, wealth and resources to their best advantage. Hot tip: If you use your wealth and resources to benefit others as well as yourself, you'll come out smelling even sweeter. Trust in your ability to attract what you need. Trust in your ability to run your own show. Another hot tip: What you manifest in the physical plane is a reflection of your inner values. Therefore, be conscious of these values and be conscious of what you want because that's what you're going to get.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This is a powerful time for you. You can really whip your body into shape. You have the diligence, perseverance and self-discipline to exercise and improve your strength and appearance. You also have the self-discipline to refrain from bad eating habits. Partly this is because you sense you're starting off on a new journey. You've come out the other end of the tunnel that involved loss and giving up things. Plus some of it involved a sense of failure. But hey, that's in the past. You're in the present looking to your future. Your first agenda is to learn more about who you are and who you want to become. Surely you want to be the best that you can be. Why be less?
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You never see a hearse pulling a U-Haul. Yup, you can't take it with you. And even during your long life, there are times when you have to let things go. You dismantle what you created (in your case since around 2001) and you figure out what to keep and what to reject or leave behind. This is where you are right now. This week, in particular, you will be strong and effective about making these kinds of decisions. You see what you have to let go of and you'll be able to do it. You'll see that you're lightening your load so you can move forward with greater ease. There's an old Dutch saying: Better lose the anchor than the whole ship.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You are effective in dealing with others right now. You're like a hot knife slicing through butter. Your challenge is to arrive at a healthy balance of how much to devote yourself to others, especially in groups, and how much to save yourself just for you. You know you can't sell out just because others want your time. You will easily handle increased responsibilities because you are indefatigable and capable of working extremely hard. You also know what to let go and where to make your efforts count. Furthermore, if you tell others what you hope to accomplish in the future, they will help you in some way. Go, team, go!
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You are working harder now than you have in years. But you don't mind because you're accomplishing so much. In fact, not only are you achieving a lot - you are showing others, especially parents, teachers and bosses, that you can do this! People see that your diligence has led to your success. This is an exciting time in your life because romance, sports, vacations, the arts, plus playful times with children are thrilling, rewarding activities for you. Not only that, you also have a sense that you are preparing for something that awaits you in the future - and it is even more exciting!
