All Signs
Mercury goes retrograde about three times a year. These are bad times to open a new business or buy ground transportation, computers, phones and technology. But they're good times to finish old business, study the past or do research. The trick is to know how to use Mercury retrograde. First you need advance warning! Therefore, here is your heads up for the last Mercury retrograde this year. Mercury starts slowing down on Oct. 12. (That's the cut-off I use not to buy cars or computers.) It officially goes retrograde Oct. 21 until Nov. 10. But it's not really over because not until Nov. 26 does it finally catch up to where it was when it first went backwards. The outer dates are Oct. 12 to Nov. 26. The actual retrograde dates are Oct. 21 to Nov. 10. I use the outer dates. Only special people can use both. (Clones are people, two.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This week you continue be gung-ho to get organized. This positive aspiration to improve your life extends into getting healthier as well. ("I want it all!") And yes, you do want it all because not only are you working hard, you're partying lots as well. In particular, unexpected social invitations and new romantic overtures will take place at the end of the week. For those of you in existing partnerships, these romantic flirtations could trigger arguments. Forewarned is forearmed. In the meantime, the next few weeks are a great time to seek a loan or mortgage because others will help you. (Your sex drive will be amped then as well.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
It continues to be party city for your sign, which you're gonna love because you adore good food, good wine, good sex and a great place to live. Let's face it - the creature comforts of life are your hobby. Which doesn't mean that you don't know how to work hard and earn good money because you do. What it really means is that when you get the money, you sure know what to do with it! Relations with partners have been testy lately. (You know who you are.) Fortunately, this week, fair Venus moves opposite your sign smoothing the way in all your relationships, intimate or professional. You'll find it easy to express your affection - the very words others want to hear! Something surprising at home at the end of the week will require quick-footed diplomacy.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You've been hunkering down at home more than usual lately. (Getting dusty?) Actually, you are enjoying increased solitude and a chance to do some self-evaluation. Fortunately, Mercury brings opportunities to play, especially with younger people, plus enjoying games and fun distractions. If you can avoid overindulgence in sweets and booze, your health has a chance to improve in the next few weeks. An unexpected short trip or encounter with someone surprising could trigger arguments on Saturday. But if you are fleet of foot you can avoid this. (You are certainly fast of tongue.) Ah yes, Gemini - the wordsmith. Some people have a way with words - some people not have way.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Short trips, errands, conversations with everyone, especially siblings, neighbours and relatives plus increased reading and writing are some of the reasons your schedule is jam-packed. It's fast-paced and you like it. (At least, for now.) This week fair Venus starts bringing you increased opportunities for fun, entertainment, parties and good times. Look for ways to enjoy the arts and express your creative talents. Romance will also get a major boost (kiss-kiss, hug-hug) and playful activities with children will be a source of joy. These wonderful opportunities for pleasure will last for about a month. Yay, me! At the end of the week, financial matters could bring surprises that might also trigger arguments.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
With fiery Mars in your sign, your physical energy is high. This is why you're accomplishing lots at work and pumping your body to perfection. You're constantly checking your financial scene as you juggle money in and out and here, too, you're showing some improvement. Ka-ching! You're reflecting upon your values and figuring out what really matters to you and, at the same time, looking forward to showing off something. In the month ahead, decorating projects at home have your attention. You want your home to be elegant and yet, peaceful and light. You're buying decorating magazines. (You love to entertain.) Be patient Saturday when someone might object to a sudden chance for you to do something unusual.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Different forces are sending you in different directions. On one hand, you want to cocoon and take care of private business. On the other hand (you have different rings) you're actively chasing your goals and getting involved with groups, perhaps competitively. Physical activity will rev your engines. Be careful because this weekend, this could create friction with someone. Meanwhile the month ahead brings financial opportunities to you to get a better job or boost your income. In fact, all financial negotiations will be blessed. Naturally, if money starts to flow, you'll buy beautiful treasures. (Oh well, lots of money is only useful if you spend it.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Everyone wants to see your face, which means you have to share yourself. This is good because friendships are important to you now. In fact, team efforts will benefit you - remember this. The good news is fair Venus has just moved into your sign to stay for a month making you diplomatic, charming and pleasure seeking. This is a lovely influence to promote social times with others. This is also a good time to shop for wardrobe goodies because you feel good about yourself. (Your bathroom mirror is covered in kisses.) An ambitious opportunity at the end of the week might trigger power struggles with someone. Tread carefully.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
The Sun is still at high noon in your chart putting you in the spotlight. Since this light is flattering, you make a great impression on others, especially bosses, parents and VIPs. This is the only time all year this happens so milk this for all it's worth! Go after what you want. Ask for permission or approval. Demand the advantage. In addition, for the whole year, you're in a position where you can benefit from the wealth and resources of others. It doesn't get better than this! (Well, of course, it does because there's no end to better.) Sudden opportunities to travel at the end of the week might create problems with someone. (But you will pack your bags and run out the door.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Because you want to broaden your horizons, you'll love chances to study or learn something new this week. (You can learn fascinating things from even the most trivial encounter.) The main thing is to break out of your everyday routine. Disputes about shared property, inheritances and insurance matters are likely for some. Something unexpected could happen in these areas this Saturday. (Might provoke an argument.) Be cool because that way you can think straight and not make mistakes. Because Venus is changing signs now, you will have lots of opportunities to schmooze with others. Even romantic relationships will be friendlier and more lighthearted. We like!
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You're in the midst of intense issues. Inheritances, insurance matters, taxes, debt and shared property continue to be a priority. (You can't ignore this stuff.) Plus Mars opposite your sign might stress partnerships. Fortunately, you have fantastic good fortune boosting all kinds of job opportunities to either improve your job or get a better one. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Remember: You need more sleep because the Sun is far away from you now. (Yeah, it's far away from all of us. I'm talking astrological symbolism.) Part of what contributes to your fatigue is you're working hard (you have no choice) and travelling for pleasure (which will continue for the next month or so). This means you're spread too thin doing everything you want to do. And this doesn't include the fabulous influence of Jupiter bringing you vacations, love affairs and stimulating social diversions - much more than usual. Therefore, grab your sleep just for self-survival. Since loved ones and friends are showing you more of the world, you've gotta stay awake!
