All Signs
NASA has reported that the Sun is about to swap energy fields between its North Pole and South Pole. Apparently, this happens every 11 years. It doesn't happen overnight - it's gradual and the last time it occurred was between 2000 and 2002. How does this affect us? I don't know, but it's interesting. You might want to look back to what was happening in your life between 2000-2002 to see if there is a correlation to what is starting to happen now. It makes sense for me. That's when both my kids got married. It was also when I was drawing plans for the island home I built, a lifelong dream. My home was just an idea percolating in my mind. I'm sure many of us are all dressed up and not sure where we're going. Voltaire said, "Doubt is not a pleasant position but certainty is absurd." (And in Brooklyn, it's absoid.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is a great week to make plans on how to improve your health because this is totally possible. You can also make plans on how to expand your job. Work-related travel is likely. You can solidify some things in your life because you see you have the support - financial, practical and psychological - from others that you need. Relationships with partners and close friends will be warm and social. However, you will want to indulge yourself with desserts and rich foods. And if you go shopping, you'll buy clothing, jewelry and art. (Go for baroque.) This is not surprising because Mars in Leo makes you vigorous, willing to work and confident. You're setting the ball rolling in many ways!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You are still in play mode and enjoying the good life. ("Come out to the coast, we'll get together - have a few laughs.") If you are not on vacation now, this is a perfect week to plan one for the future. You know you love good food and drink but be careful because you might overdo desserts and rich food at this time. This is also a good week to make long-range plans regarding the care and education of children. Meanwhile, increased chaos and activity at home in the next several weeks could trigger tension with family members. Remember: Patience is the antidote to anger. (It's appropriate to pamper yourself now.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Your focus continues to be on home, family and your private life. Some of you are making repairs - big repairs, in fact. Entertaining at home, family vacations and pleasant times with children will probably rack up a few dollars. Fun ain't cheap! ("O Lord, help me to be pure - but not yet.") You'll also enjoy inviting people to your home for educational purposes or meetings to discuss world events. ("First we'll take Manhattan - then we'll take Berlin.") Be aware that you are unusually persuasive, forthright and in people's faces in the next month because Mars lends fiery energy to your speech and thought processes.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You're busy! You've got places to go, things to do, people to see. You're making plans and they're big, exciting plans. And despite the fact that you're making big plans, you are grounded, serious and practical about everything. This is not pie-in-the-sky stuff - this is doable. Meanwhile, this is a great week to entertain at home (especially Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). You're also entering a month-long time where you will work especially hard to boost your earnings. Furthermore, you want to use what you own to make your life easier and further your own best interests. You want to accomplish things using your possessions. This will make you feel good.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You are going to rev your engines in the next six weeks because fiery Mars is in your sign now for the first time since October/November 2011. Va-va-va-voom! Mars rules your muscles and your sexual energy. It also rules your ability to be assertive and go after what you want. Naturally, with Mars in your sign, it's all systems go! Physical exercise will appeal and be a wise choice as well. (This pent-up energy has to find a release.) Meanwhile, back in the bank, you're full of practical, ambitious and exciting ideas about how to boost your income. And yes, you're spending big as well but hey, this time your purchases are also realistic and long-lasting. Well done!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Both the Sun and Virgo are in your sign - and you're lookin' good! You will get a lot done this week because you have a strong sense of self-discipline and an orderly state of mind. You want to finish what is on your plate and leave no messy details behind. Someone older or more experienced might have good advice for you, so be aware of this and listen. This is a good week for business and commerce, the only downside is you might blow your money on some gorgeous goodies. But hey, life is short (and fat). Whatchagonndo? I say lots of money is only useful if you spend it. (Buy land - they're not making it anymore.)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
So much has been happening lately, you need to take a little time to give yourself a breather. Seek out moments of privacy so you can restore and replenish yourself. Many Librans are erratic sleepers, which is why you often need to veg out for a couple of days in your robe. ("Stick a fork in me Lord, I'm done.") You will, however, venture out to shop. Oh yeah. Expect to spring for some wardrobe goodies in this year's colours. Some quiet behind-the-scenes plans are thrilling and you're pumped about this. Meanwhile, competition with a friend might be irksome. But physical activity with groups (gym classes or sports) will turn your crank. Enjoy!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Your popularity continues! Enjoy schmoozing with others, especially younger people. In fact, group activities with younger people are likely taking place. This might encourage you to broaden your goals. Meanwhile, secret love affairs are delightfully pleasing. They could lead to some travel as well. (Passport current?) Someone older or more experienced might have advice for you. Never hurts to listen. In fact, in the next month your ambition will be unusually aroused, more than it's been in the last few years. Use this newfound confidence to push your agenda and make your dreams a reality. You're starting down a whole new path. Yeehaw!
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You continue to be in the public eye as bosses, parents and people in authority notice you more than usual. Fear not - you look good to them! Make plans to travel because, in the next six weeks, you will have opportunities to do so. Many of you will also use the same intense energy to explore avenues in publishing, higher education, the media, the law and medicine. This week is a great time to socialize with creative, artistic people. (You'll go overboard, but you'll have fun doing it.) Meanwhile, one of your admirers - someone in a position of authority who has more experience and knowledge - might help you or give you wise advice. This is fortunate.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Grab every chance to travel somewhere because you're keen to do this plus opportunities are at hand now. Some of you will travel with younger people or groups and others will travel with older people on business. Either way, it's a great change of scenery for which you will be grateful. This is also a great time to explore publishing and educational opportunities. Meanwhile, romance with a boss or someone older or richer could take place. There are several indicators for this, including the fact that your sex drive is in overdrive this month. Ha! You will also be asked to give your creative input on things. Someone wants your advice on form, layout, construction, design, appearance, furniture arrangement or outdoor planning.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You continue to be involved in red-tape details related to inheritances, trusts, taxes, debt, insurance matters and shared property. (This stuff won't go away!) Now, however, you have increasing enthusiasm about it. Good news has perked you up. ("I can really use the money.") And you intend to be wise, prudent and practical with your windfall, if this is the case. Fortunately, it's not all boring work with official forms.
