All Signs
In the month ahead, two significant things will occur. Mercury will go retrograde for the first time this year. (And again in June and October.) In addition, there will be a shimmering conference of planets in Pisces: The Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Neptune will all frolic together. (For attendance to this event, de rigeur accessories include sexy, revealing clothes with touches of velvet, feathers, silk chiffon and, of course, dancing shoes.) Expect to dream more vividly as well as appreciating the burdens of others with greater sensitivity. Pisces is loyal, alive, appreciative, imaginative, polished, empathetic, sensitive and magnetic - and we will all embrace these qualities more in the next few weeks. Pisces rules the feet and so I'm going to use this energy to buy frivolous shoes. (Someone has to do it.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
As your birthday approaches, it is obvious that your personal year is ending. Before it arrives, set aside some time (perhaps this week?) to think about how you want your new year to unfold. Do you want it to be different from last year? Most people never really make goals. We go through life, day after day, coping with events and putting out fires or making fun plans here and there. But what about the big picture? There's no question that if you're specific about a few goals, the chances of achieving them are far greater. Your effectiveness as a human being is being challenged right now, especially your ability to be independent. In about five years, you will reach a time of harvest in your life. This is definitely a good time to strategize your future. Ya think?
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This Pisces party of planets super hypes your popularity in the month ahead. Everyone will want to see your face so just go with the flow. Accept all invitations. Extend a few yourself. Join classes, clubs and associations. Meet pals for lunch, dinner or drinks. In addition to increased popularity, this same planetary influence triggers the part of your chart related to goal setting with respect to your hopes and dreams for the future. What dreams do you hope to achieve? If you share your ideas and hopes with others, their feedback will help you. Trust this process. Meanwhile, romance with a boss is possible. If others ask for your creative help on something, give it. (Why not?)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Holy Celestial! A gaggle of planet is hanging out at high noon in your chart. For starters, this calls attention to you, which is why others will notice you more than usual for whatever reason. It also makes you unusually ambitious and it creates a desire in you to talk to everyone - and when Gemini gets a desire to talk, look out world! Romance with someone older or from another culture or someone who is more established will take place for many of you. You're definitely out there flying your colours! Travel for pleasure if you can because adventure appeals to you. In addition, your appreciation of beauty is heightened at this time and you will feel inspired by nature, beautiful buildings, museums and the creative art of others. This is an exciting time for you!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You definitely need a change of scenery. You want to travel, explore exciting options, discover new territory, learn new, exciting things and have some adventure in your life. You want it all! In fact, the reason some of you will be able to travel or to get further education or explore opportunities in publishing, the media, medicine and the law is because you will get help and assistance from someone else. This could be a gift of cash or an inheritance. Someone might pick up the tab for something or let you use something they own. Or perhaps you will benefit indirectly through the increased wealth of your partner? Meanwhile, intimate relationships are sweetly passionate. Romance swoons swimmingly along. (Be still my beating heart.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Your month ahead is very passionate, which means you'll be passionate about everything. You will definitely be passionate about reducing your debt and scrutinizing credit cards, shared property, mortgages, loans and anything you own jointly with others. All that stuff is on your mind now. In addition, you will be equally passionate in partnerships. You'll have passionate responses to professional partners as well as passionate responses to intimate, sexual partners. Nothing ho-hum here! (Don't leave home without a red rose clenched in your teeth.) Quite likely, your ability to get along well with significant others is part of why this passion is building up within you. It's a happy time for relationships.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
An unusually strong emphasis of planets now opposes you, causing you to focus on partnerships and close friendships much more than usual. Mercury, of course, will fuel discussions and lots of talk about exploring ideas or coming to terms with something. No doubt this is in response to Mars opposite your sign, which promotes tension and make you impatient with others. Fortunately, Venus will soon be in the picture paving the way and smoothing everything, making relationships cozy, warm and supportive. Nevertheless, Neptune is there for a long run (maybe even two years of causing an overall confusion to your partnerships). Neptune is like Vaseline on your lens. You tend to see what you want to see instead of what is really there. (Handy if you can't face the truth.)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You're in work mode and you want to get better organized. This is an excellent motivation because you are affected by your immediate environment. You want your surroundings to feel good, look good and function! Fortunately, you're willing to pitch in in a hands-on way, in addition to which you're definitely delegating. (Librans love to delegate.) Of course, it's not all work and no play, and it never is with you. You have lots of opportunity to party and enjoy good times. Believe it or not, this is also a great time for romance, sports events, social occasions and little vacations. Yes, in the next four weeks, you can have it all. (Did you want your dressing on the side?)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You are the winner for the next four-to-six weeks because quite literally, a handful of planets is hyping the part of your chart related to romance, love affairs, parties, vacations, social diversions, sports events and playful times with children. What's not to like? Not only will this be a fun-filled month, it will be productive for creative projects. (Great for writers, artists, painters, sculptors and anyone involved in arts and crafts.) The next few weeks are also a marvellous time to entertain at home and tackle redecorating projects or tweak your home to make it look clean, comfortable and attractive.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You're super-focused on home and family. You might be involved with a parent, or renovations, redecorating projects, residential moves and major repairs. Because so much is going on in your private life, this could create tension with family members or possibly competition. Don't feed this. Be tolerant and patient and it will fade away. In fact, Venus is helping you to be diplomatic and charming with everyone, including siblings. Speaking of which, this is also a good time to make money from writing and speaking because you have such grace with your words.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
A busy six weeks ahead! Your schedule will be jam-packed with short trips, errands, visits with many people plus more reading and writing than usual. Just accept that will be a fast-paced month and you'll be on the go. But this hyped energy favours those of you in sales, writing, marketing, acting and teaching. In fact, many of you will increase your earnings and, of course, some will be buying beautiful things for yourselves and loved ones. Remember, this is the best time in more than a decade for you to improve your job scene. Make the most of it!
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Your focus on money continues. You're working hard to earn money but not only that, you're also dreaming up money-making ideas. Naturally all this energy related to finances and cash flow triggers opportunities to spend money as well. This is opportune because, with fair Venus in your sign, this is an excellent time to buy wardrobe items. You feel charming, relaxed and comfortable in your own skin so you like what you see in the mirror. When you feel depressed, dumpy and overweight it's a dreadful time to shop for clothes. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
It's rare indeed to have so many planets in your own sign boosting your energy and confidence, and making you talkative, eager and ready to reach out and grab more of life. Take a dance class. Take up running. Do something physical so that you can blow off some of this pent-up steam that might be building up within you because you have lots of energy. (Which is a good thing.) You'll be unusually effective talking to others and you will certainly stand up for yourself and say what you mean and mean what you say. This positive boost will last for several weeks. Grab the baton and run with it!
