Pray tell, what celestial tidbits are happening this week? There's a Full Moon in Capricorn on Thursday and Friday. (Batten down the hatches.) As we approach that fun event (whoopee!), fair Venus will be having harsh words with stern Saturn. (Well, that's no fun with the pre-Full Moon tensions already building up.) But lo! Behold fiery Mars sitting in Gemini until August 3rd. Mars is the planet that rules our sexual energy! Mars also rules our muscles, our blood and our aggression. (Grrrr.) When you think of Mars, think snazzy sports cars, sexy, eye-catching duds and deeds of derring-do. (Incidentally, because Mars is the ruler of Aries, Aries people know how to spell derring-do. Or is it because they're so full of it?) Read on Macduff, to discover what Mars portends for you.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Would you call this lucky? You have many opportunities to practice patience this week. (It is opportunity after all.) Consider this: when everything is hunky-dory and perfect and smooth - you don't have a chance to cultivate this marvelous quality. Right? So when the Full Moon this week agitates the dynamics of home and family versus career and outer world - you can demonstrate grace under pressure. Meanwhile, fiery Mars makes you unusually aggressive, persuasive and dare we say irresistible? (We did.) Therefore, when these differences arise this week as the Full Moon is starting to peak on Wednesday and Thursday - do not steamroll others. (Oh no.) Instead - lead the way! Be that magic leader that only you can be.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Please be careful! Each Full Moon is different, and the Full Moon this week is an accident-prone time for your sign. I am totally serious here. In other words, you will be susceptible to verbal and physical accidents this week. Naturally, they don't have to happen if you are mindful and not too hasty. It's important to be calm and think before you speak or act. (Which is more your style anyway.) Financial matters definitely have your attention for the entire month! You're working hard to boost your earnings and burning through quite a bit of cash now as well. (Ah yes, you do love your creature comforts.) And you know how distracted you get when you start to hemorrhage cash. Ka-ching!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Have you noticed anyone backing away from you lately when they're talking to you? Probably smiling nervously? Could this be because you're coming on like gangbusters? Fear not. Mostly - this is a good thing. Too often, we are reluctant to assert ourselves. (Consider this reluctance a thing of the past until August.) With fiery Mars in your sign this month, you are quick to defend yourself and others. You're fast on the comeback, first in line and determined to have the last word. This is the power of Mars in your sign! Of course, 90% of it is fabulous. Use it, work with it and make it work for you. But do remember that 10% of it is where you could be overwhelming to others. Easy does it.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
We cannot overlook the fact that the Full Moon this Thursday/Friday will be directly opposite your sign. (You can run but you can't hide.) So what does this mean? When the Full Moon is opposite your sign, you will very likely have tensions with partners and close friends. Simple. Fortunately, the Sun and fair Venus are in your sign right now as well, and this gives you marvelous energy, confidence, strength and lots of diplomacy and charm. (Whew!) That's why I doubt that you're going to end up with egg on your face. However, Mars does seem to be stirring the pot to create secret love affairs. Is this true? (I can see by your eyes you're hiding something.) Don't blow something solid for a mere bonbon. (You're smarter than that.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This particular Full Moon will not be difficult for most of you (unless you have Capricorn or Cancer in your chart). But you are going to be revved up with all kinds of group activities, whether they're small meetings and get-togethers or large conferences and conventions. And get this -- something about these gatherings is really going to turn your crank! Furthermore, someone you encounter might inspire you to change or expand your future goals. Or possibly, you'll see ways to implement the dreams you already have. Ignore the urge to compete with others right now. (Because it's there.) Instead - make your exchange with others a win-win situation. (Maybe someone will spring for lunch?)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
The Full Moon this week is capable of introducing some rocky moments to your romantic life and possibly to sports or dealing with children. But hey - this is nothing you can't handle. What is notable is that your ambition is growing, have you noticed? You are entertaining big ideas! I mean - "really" big ideas. Since this is the year for you to travel, further your education and explore opportunities in publishing, the media, medicine and the law -- anything might be on your agenda. You have to do something! And one thing is certain: You feel like a winner. (Take two, they're small.)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
This particular Full Moon creates tension between the demands of home and family versus the demands of your external world. You can't keep everyone happy. (It was ever thus.) Do your best to cope but you cannot ignore the demands of your professional, external world right now. One thing is certain - this is a month of travel and exploration! Many of you are seeing new places, meeting new people and entertaining new ideas. Basically, you want adventure, fun and a fresh way of looking at your world. Do whatever you can to change your daily scene. Be a tourist in your own city. Go some place you've never been before.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Do take note: this particular Full Moon, this week, is an accident-prone time for you. Therefore, be scrupulous. (Did you know that the origin of the word scruples is "to hesitate?" I looked it up.) This is why you should count to three before you speak or act. (Seriously.) Be aware of your surroundings. Also be aware of the impact of your words on others. Disputes about shared property, and anything you hold jointly with others (inheritances, debt and taxes) are likely to get down and dirty this month. That's the boring part. The not so boring part is that your gonads are in overdrive! Sex has a fascinating appeal! "I'm too sexy for my shirt!" (Here we go again.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Financial tensions might come to a head because of the Full Moon this week. There's nothing you can do except deal with it as best you can. You're juggling your needs and wants versus the needs and wants of others. Oh well. Could this be why tensions with partners easily arise now? Yes this is a contributing influence, but more likely it's because fiery Mars is directly opposite your sign for the whole month! (Ya think?) It's so hard to be patient with others when Mars is opposite your sign. Everyone seems to be so lacking couth! (And you're right - half the time they are.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Well, you can't ignore the fact that the only Full Moon in your sign all year is taking place this week. Factoid. (Yeah, yeah, I knew you weren't going to miss it.) Fortunately, this will not be too tough to handle because fair Venus is also opposite your sign and this greatly ameliorates the tensions between you and partners or close friends. (If you're not sure of the meaning of that word, check with Aries because they can spell derring do.) Meanwhile, treat yourself to the best support material, tools and cleaning supplies to tackle your little projects right now. You are super gung-ho to get organized. Isn't this wonderful?
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You know the value of working with others because you're such a great net- worker. Therefore, be accommodating with co-workers, to offset any possible negative influences of the Full Moon this week. (Yes, this is a possibility.) Surely you will have no trouble doing this because love, romance, parties and fun vacations are where it's at for you now! (Hey -- what more do you want?) This is a fabulous month for playful activities with children, fun with sports and just partying in general. It's your turn to kick up your heels! (Or at least find a meaningful overnight relationship.) Kiss, kiss, hug, hug.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
This is a very tricky Full Moon this week for your sign. It creates tensions in your dealings with children and romantic partners. It can even throw your tennis game off. Don't overreact. (Sometimes you can be euphoric or suicidal all before lunch.) Instead, use your energy to tackle renovations and improve where you live. This will be the perfect way to channel some pent-up energy that you have that could detour into domestic arguments. Your choice. What's it going to be? Anger and tears or a really great-looking living room? Let's not forget that both the Sun and Venus now encourage romance, vacations, entertaining diversions, parties and fun. Whee!
