All Signs
This week Mercury retrograde has us in its clutches. (Aagghh.) In fact, the entire month is a poor time to buy ground transportation, computers and cell phones. Many purchases will be delayed or mixed up for some reason. Definitely the mail will be delayed. (Isn't it curious how cheques in the mail are late but the bills always arrive on time?) We will also suffer from transportation delays, confused communications, misplaced items, and meeting ex-partners -- the very ones we did our best to run away from years ago. (It's always darkest before it gets pitch black.) The upside of Mercury retrograde is it encourages us to reflect, reconsider, research the past, and finish what we have already begun. "Stick a fork in me Lord, I'm done!"
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is a wonderful time to finish or complete any kind of studies, exams, or anything to do with publishing, the media, medicine, and the law. If you need to do research into these areas, it will go quickly and successfully. Old issues connected with politics, religion, libraries, universities, and higher education can also be resolved, if you want, this week or in the immediate future. Big questions can be settled. Many of you will visit distant places you've been to before, and see old friends from other countries or different cultures. It will be fun catching up on old news because it will be stimulating! In fact, it might light a fire under you in some way.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Without question, you're heavily involved in old business regarding shared property, inheritances, taxes, debt and anything to do with the wealth or resources of someone else, like those of your partner. (Or your ex-partner.) Don't groan or make faces. (Sure, nobody likes filling out forms or dealing with disputed wealth.) Nevertheless, you can make great strides now in these areas. You will get a lot done! You also have the energy to stand up for yourself and defend your own best interests. You feel passionately about many things right now, including improving yourself. Relations with partners and good friends are chummy and warm. This is a good time for hot sex and attracting passionate people to you. (Oh my.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
For the past six weeks fiery Mars has opposed your sign, which made you easily impatient with others, especially partners and close friends. This week it's "moving on." (Whew! Others will be glad.) Of course, it still hovers close, so you will need to demonstrate grace under pressure. However, as it moves away from opposing your sign, it slowly starts to ignite your sex drive! Oh yes! (Would I kid you? Well, not about sex.) The only downside is this could mean that disputes with others over shared property and inheritances could be nasty. (My mother always said you never really knew anyone until you had to share an inheritance with them.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
These are momentous times, not only for the Federation, but for your sign! Pluto is opposite you for the first time in your life. This week Mars joins Pluto to oppose you along with retrograde Mercury. Yikes! Power struggles with others, especially about old issues, are very likely. These power struggles could arise between couples, partners, or co-workers. The good news is that romance, vacations, budding love affairs, everything connected with sports events, plus playful times with children are lovely sources of fun and entertainment. These power struggles are isolated things. In the main, you're having a wonderful time!
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is a lovely, playful, entertaining time for you. You love the glitter and glitz of holidays, no matter how much you complain. (Take it all away and you would be morose.) Fair Venus will ensure that your home life is pleasantly warm and friendly this month. It doesn't have to be Currier & Ives, but you will enjoy sprucing up the place and redecorating. You'll also enjoy entertaining at home. Old flames are probably back in the picture somehow. This can be exciting (unless you're now six sizes bigger). Be easy-going about power struggles related to work. When the annals of history are written, will this really matter? ("Yes, it will!" Right. "Oops, sorry.")
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This is a lovely week, and it's leading into a good month because fair Venus is going to temper how you express yourself to everyone. Your speech will be gracious, diplomatic, and patient. In fact, many of you will think of ways to boost your income through writing, talking, teaching or promoting. Home, family and your domestic life are a top priority now. Old issues with family, especially relatives you haven't seen for a while, will be back on your plate. Unfortunately, this could create power struggles or tension at home. Fortunately, your silver-tongued talents will smooth everything over and win the day! "The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain."
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Many eventful changes are taking place. Basically, as you say goodbye and let go of things, you're moving into a whole new direction in your life. This is a busy week, and it's a busy month. Furthermore, Mercury retrograde could wreak havoc on your transportation scene. Get snow tires. Make sure your cell phone is charged. Pay your phone bill. Stay on top of anything that could impede your ability to communicate to others, or to move around or travel, because these are the very areas where you will be most vulnerable this month. Fortunately, you seem to have the dough to buy beautiful and fun treasures for yourself and others. How fortunate!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
There's a strong emphasis on financial issues for you right now, no question. You're thinking about how to boost your earnings, or how to invest what you have, or how to get the most out of what you own. You want to know how to use what you have to make your life run more smoothly. Make sense. No doubt about it. Like Libra you, too, run the risk of delays and detours with transportation and communications. Try to anticipate what could create problems and do some damage control. Stay on top of cars, trucks, etc. Charge your cell phone. Be like the Boy Scouts and be prepared! (I know some of you can tie a few slip-knots.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You have lots of energy now because the Sun is in your sign, which means people and opportunities are attracted to you. Fiery Mars is moving into your money sector, revving up your desire to earn money and spend it. The cash is flowing! Unfortunately, retrograde Mercury is on its heels, causing cheques in the mail to be late, slow payments, plus delays with gifts and goodies coming your way -- all of which might make you wince. However, old ways of earning money can be resurrected. Past opportunities to buy things you wanted (and might have missed) might also return. You're a very resourceful sign who knows how to find opportunity everywhere. (Clever you!)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
In many ways, you are playing your cards very close to your heaving bosom. You're working alone or behind the scenes because you know this is a time to strategize what your new year is going to be all about. You're giving this a lot of thought. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
