All Signs
A look at the next 12 months shows good news and better news. The good news is Saturn is in Libra for the next year, and this is the best sign for Saturn to be in! It encourages everyone to take a more detached look at relationships. Everyone will scrutinize partnerships to determine what is fair and reasonable. The better news is a harsh aspect of Saturn with Pluto (that we've suffered through for moooonths) now disappears! Ruthless power struggles between people and groups will dramatically reduce. Thank gawd! Someone told me it's time to abdicate. (That's giving up all hope of ever having a flat stomach.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This Saturn thing brings a challenge to your partnerships and closest relationships. In fact, because stern Saturn now opposes you, troubled relationships will end. Kaput! Those that will endure, will need to undergo readjustments. (There's a small charge for alterations.) The good news, however, is that for the first time since 1994, you're stepping out into the world in a way that makes others notice you more. You could say that you're "taking your power." Indeed, the beginning of next year, lucky Jupiter enters your sign. There's no question you're going places. (Why not pack a hot lunch?)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Saturn is making you work hard. But you don't mind working hard when you think it's for a good reason -- especially pots of cash. Basically, you are working hard now to show others what you can do. You're trying to prove something to the world. It's certainly a time of increased popularity for all of you but, nevertheless, you've got to put your money where your mouth is. In the next few years, you're going to have to step up to the plate and show everyone what you've got. And you will do this! (My apologies for these baseball metaphors if croquet is your game.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Last year and this year, your focus is on increased responsibilities with children. Since you virtually reinvented yourself since 2001-02, now you're moving forward with new aspects of redefining who you are. This is why many of you are withdrawing a little bit from your social scene. You are seeking your new footing. Like Taurus, whatever you produce right now will be the result of hard work. No question. In fact, you're trying to cultivate more self-discipline so that you can express yourself more effectively. It's time to reduce your famous glibido (all talk and no action).
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Your life has been full of flux and change in the last few years as you underwent residential moves and job changes. Frankly, it's been exhausting! Now you're ready to settle down. You want to know where your bed is at night. (Preferably on mortgage-free land that you own.) That's why some of you are actually moving again. (Whaaat?) And the rest of you are doing whatever is necessary to solidify your home base. This could involve renovations, fixing the roof, or the basement, or something rather basic. This same urge to anchor your world applies to your family relationships as well. "Dinner's ready! Come and get it!"
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
The placement of Saturn last year and this year is not bad for you. However, it does not promote stability. (You've noticed.) Many of you are wondering about job changes. In fact, last year and this year, many of you have undergone changes at work. Likewise, some of you have moved, or are moving, or are thinking of moving residences. You want something better. I can relate to the Leo who wrote me saying, "If I don't live beyond my means, how will I ever accomplish anything?" Ha! Actually, this is a good year to get support from others (including money). You're lucky! Next year, travel, publishing, higher education, medicine, and the law are unusually promising. How sweet it is!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Saturn is making you tighten your belt. The secret is to reduce debt or, ideally, get out of debt. You have to work hard for your money right now. Fortunately, within the next two years it will be much easier to get a loan from a bank, or raise money from other sources, or get an inheritance, or simply get the backing and assistance from others. Yay! But the really good news is that with Pluto in Capricorn for the first time in more than 200 years, you're getting powerful help from others sources. This allows you to transform your life! (This particular influence can never happen again in your life, nor has it ever happened before.) You have a strong sense of having survived. And you have.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Saturn is in your sign for the first time since the early 1980s. And Saturn makes a person grow up. (Even if it's kicking and screaming.) But really, it's an indication that you're creating a whole new identity for yourself. (Even if it's a bit scary.) That's why you gave up so much in the last few years! But hey, don't spread yourself too thin. Learn to say "No." Practice daily in front of the mirror. You begin by putting your tongue on the roof of your mouth. Then boldly purse those lips! You can do it! Meanwhile, your health and your job are improving this year. Once again, let's hear it: "No!"
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This is a curious time. In one way, you're partying, going on vacations, and living it up! Love and romance are in the air. Relations with children are excellent. You're also enjoying opportunities to express your creative talents. What's not to like? Nevertheless, another energy is afoot and it's quite different. All of you are giving up things. You're giving up people, places, jobs, possessions, ideas and even values. Whether you're conscious of it or not, you are letting go of what is no longer relevant in your life. Either you do this consciously, or it simply happens to you. But the result will be the same. Fortunately, you recover fast from this kind of change. "Next?"
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
It's a good thing things are going well on the home front. Relations with family members are warm and cozy. You feel good about where you live. This is an excellent year for real-estate deals for all of you. (Whether it is real estate for speculation or buying or selling real estate for your own personal use.) However, the more challenging area of your life has to do with the demands of your popularity and your relationships with others. If you try to keep everyone happy, you're just a slave to the demands of others! Hey -- freedom is important. You have to learn how to be selective, and juggle what you want to keep and let go of what you don't need. You count, too!
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Because big daddy Pluto is in your sign for the first time in your life, it's easy for you to give up what you don't need. This is why many of you are losing weight, as well as getting out of dead relationships, and getting rid of (or recycling) mucho possessions. You need to look like you've got your act together because this is your time of harvest! Finally, after years of working for what you really wanted, it's within your grasp, either this year or next. People are impressed with you. Promotions, kudos, and opportunities to advance yourself exist everywhere. Not everything turns out perfectly. That's what happens with a harvest. When a crop fails, you acknowledge it, learn from it, and move on. No big deal.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
This is a fortunate time in your life. Many of you can boost your earnings this year. Or perhaps you'll land a better job, better duties, or discover ways to make money on the side. You might buy beautiful things so you feel richer. Meanwhile, in the bigger picture, you're preparing for a very successful time in your life a few years down the road. You're getting closer and closer to achieving something that is very dear to your heart. That's why this could be considered a time of preparation. If you get further training or education, or you travel to learn more and polish your skills and enhance your life, all the better! You want to bring as much as you can to the table when your hour arrives.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
It's been a struggle getting the kind of support you need from others lately and, unfortunately, this will continue for the next year. It's hard to count your chickens when it comes to your partner's income, an inheritance, a hoped-for loan, a scholarship or bursary, or just getting practical help from others. But this is a temporary situation! It's not going to last forever. What beautifully offsets this crunch is that lucky moneybags Jupiter is currently in your sign (for the first time in 12 years) and it will stay there for the rest of the year until February. Yay! Then Jupiter starts to look for ways to promote your earnings and your income! More yay! Ah yes, a little coin to jingle in one's pocket is a good thing.
