All Signs
There are so many big events taking place in the heavens right now it's mind-boggling. The biggest event is the Saturn/Uranus opposition. These two planets oppose each other about every 40 years and, when this opposition occurs, it takes place about three times in a two-year window. The last time it happened was in the mid-60s. ("Peace, brother.") Now it's happening between 2008-2010. Saturn is about the government and the status quo. Uranus is about rebellion against the status quo and a need to reform. These two planets never do lunch. They don't even like to be in the same room together! This means we will all feel upheavals in our lives, but different upheavals, according to each sign. What I want to know is -- is there a dress code for this sort of thing? What do you wear to a revolution?
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Something is changing your routine at work and quite possibly your health as well. Hopefully, these are changes for the better. You're working extremely hard now! For many, this is a turning point where you will leave your day job to make the leap to self-employment. Your confidence in yourself is increasing and you're getting ready to spread your wings! Another huge challenge for many of you is partnerships are starting to fall apart or become increasingly difficult. (Some will end a partnership in the next two years.) But in terms of your work, and whatever you're trying to do, you will achieve more and more! (If you quit your job, don't do it impulsively. Be in control of your life.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Your life has undergone some radical changes recently, and some of these changes are connected with your kids. For others, these changes revolve around love affairs, the entertainment world, and the creative arts. Expect some mind-blowing breakthroughs in these areas! The status quo of something has to shift. (No question.) The good news is this could light a fire under you. You might suddenly be wildly creative in the arts, show business, the entertainment world, or even working with children. You feel empowered about exploring new parameters and testing new ideas. New partnerships might be part of your game plan. ("Game plan? Game plan? I didn't even know we were ON THE AIR!")
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
When you read All Signs above, it's apparent these are times of revolution, upheaval, and the desire to improve things. However, where it most likely stirs the pot is in your own backyard! Family relationships and your private, domestic life are undergoing changes and upheavals. For some, this is related directly to where you live, and could involve home renovations or residential moves. Others will feel the same influence making changes in the family dynamic.("Does this mean Phineas is moving in?") Naturally, change produces stress. Be patient with family members. Life is easier that way.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Ever since 2007, your life has undergone huge changes with residential moves, job changes or changes in your daily routine, or changes in the way you relate to relatives and siblings. (It's been a crapshoot!) Actually, for some, these changes were so strong and so sudden that they precipitated an accident or some kind of "threatening" event. Be careful! The window of time that harbours this instability is 2008-2010. Thank goodness this week is the last of the three oppositions of Saturn and Uranus. By September, your life will settle into place with new conditions, new people, and new ways of doing things. It's all good. Big opportunities will come your way in the year ahead. (I never kid the cook.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is an empowering time for you because the Sun is in your sign. However, in the bigger picture, this is the third and final time that Saturn and Uranus will oppose each other in this 18-month window. This opposition has been revolutionizing how you earn money. For many, these changes will create a new source of income, or a chance to spin off and be self-employed. The opportunities that open up for you in the future will relate to publishing, the media, medicine, the law, travel, and dealing with foreign countries. It might also relate to higher education. You are at the brink of change and you know it. Will it bring a new job? A new home? (The Shadow knooooows.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Although this Saturn/Uranus opposition is evident in greater society, it obviously expresses itself in the lives of individuals as well. I think your sign is feeling it the most. You've been going through explosive times in the last 18 months! Partnerships and friendships have been tested or blown out of the water. Your freedom of movement and your ability to assert yourself and explore new worlds has taken on new dimensions, greater than you might have ever imagined. There's no question you're starting to make a name for yourself in a new sandbox. Do remember that partnerships can benefit you now. Others are willing to help. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Of course, you're undergoing the same upheavals every other sign is. However, most likely the changes in your life are more internal and less evident. Obvious changes with partnerships have taken place in the last 18 months. (That's for sure.) But the kind of change you're feeling now is more underground and behind the scenes. That's because you're hatching plans! You're working hard -- almost secretly -- on something that will catapult you into a whole new world in the next year. ("Should I pack tropical?") Be careful that your involvement with your plans doesn't make you too prickly to live with because you're excited, overworked, and scrambled in too many directions. (Ooops.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Most of you feel this opposition, which has been taking place for the last 18 months, as a series of surprises with groups and organizations with which you're involved. Many of you have entered into new group situations since 2008 and, in turn, this led to moments of instability, rebellion, and mutiny! "To the gates! To the gates!" However, whatever has occurred has also stirred you to modify or change your hopes and dreams for the future. This might have been a kick in the pants, but no doubt it was a kick in the pants you needed. (Sorry to say this.) Don't lose your cool dealing with others. When Scorpio gets angry it's kinda scaaaary!
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
The last year or so has been a powerful time. You've made breakthroughs (especially to the public perception of who you are) that are so major they have enormously boosted your confidence in yourself, and your poise in general. You're so much stronger! Some of you even walk with a swagger. ("Where's my Heineken?") In many ways, this is one of most powerful times of your life. Not only are you ambitious, you're not afraid to reach out for what you want. When the dust settles in the next year, you will look back on this as a defining point in your life. Meanwhile, don't bark at your boss or other authority figures. (You're smarter than that.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Since 2008, your life has been an exciting roller coaster of fresh opportunities, especially related to publishing, the media, higher education, the law, and medicine. In addition, you're thrilled with promotions, new jobs, opportunities for travel and exciting educational changes, as well as a chance to get further training (could be related to high-tech). These things now provide you with wonderful opportunities to forge ahead to your time of harvest, which is virtually taking place as the next several years unfold. Isn't this thrilling? Some of you are making a highly individual statement by breaking off from the pack. You gotta do what you gotta do.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Things have been explosive since 2008, especially with respect to shared property and dealing with the wealth and possessions of others. In fact, you're still reeling from these changes. Inheritances and issues related to your partners' income, plus changes with taxes, debt and insurance matters, have been major things to deal with. In some ways, this has had a liberating influence on you but, at the same time, you feel you've had to fight for your sanity! (Frankly, it's been a lot to deal with, even in a physical, tangible way.) This week represents the final speed bump in these areas. From here on, you can tie things up quite nicely. (Whew!)
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
It's been a crunchy time since 2008 with partnerships and close friendships. Grrrr. Frankly, fights and combative issues have been emotionally draining. In part, this is due to the increased independence you've been feeling since 2007. You're getting stronger, and as you gain strength you want more autonomy and control over your life, which in turn upsets the apple cart in your partnerships. Since 2008, struggles about partnerships have been a pain. Oy! The good news is this week marks a turning point! From here on, you will be able to achieve resolution and some kind of mutual agreement so that you know who owns the stereo, and who gets the George Foreman Grill.
