All Signs
Many of you are experiencing sudden, unexpected events that are shocking and mind blowing. Some are positive, some are negative, some are devastating. It is what it is. You will recall I talked about the powerful conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus on June 8th taking place in Aries, something that last occurred at the beginning of 1928. The effects of this will continue to reverberate like ripples for weeks. However, this week the Sun moves into Cancer for the first time in 11 months making all of us change gears and focus on a new direction. "Yes, Grasshopper. When you can take the fly from my hand you are ready."
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Now your focus swings to home, family, and domestic matters. Some have family members visiting, causing an increased focus on relatives and domesticity. Others are tackling renovations or redecorating projects. Conversations with family members will be significant. (Especially with mater and pater.) Perhaps your focus on family business or something you do from your home will be stronger. This influence lasts about six weeks, and will encourage you to seek out some quiet time at home. You have the urge to "hide" in order to relax, and catch your breath. Life has been happening just too fast lately! This is your chance to regroup.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This is a busy time for you! Some of you are taking short trips, others are much more involved with relatives, siblings and discussions with neighbours, than you usually are. Many of you are also reading, writing and studying more. One things is certain: your daily pace is accelerating with mucho errands and activities! On Friday the 25th, right before the Full Moon on Saturday, power struggles are likely. Don't get your belly in a rash, because these differences are probably all about who is in control. Hey -- don't sweat the small stuff! When the annals of history are written, will any of this really matter? This is also a great month for redecorating and home entertaining. (You'll love this.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Both the Sun and Mercury are urging you to dream up moneymaking ideas. Money, money, money! (Sure enough, we live by the Golden Rule, and those who have the gold make the rules. It was ever thus.) Actually, you can be quite successful in thinking ways to generate income, or get a different job, or make selective beneficial purchases. It's all about cash flow. Fortunately, fair Venus will bring charm and sweetness to your speech now. You can talk your way into any deal! Financial power struggles with others, especially about debt or shared income are likely around Friday. Tread carefully.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
With your Sun in your sign for the next month, it's your turn to recharge your batteries for the rest of the year. This is a wonderful time for Cancer! You feel energized, fortunate, and to be sure, all kinds of opportunities and people will be attracted to you during this time because the whole world is having a bigger Cancer focus. You have a strong need to communicate to others, especially partners and close friends. However, by the end of the week, this could degenerate into a battle of egos. Who needs this? Not you! Travel opportunities plus avenues in higher education, publishing, and the media look sweet. This is a good month to earn money. You'll also enjoy buying beautiful goodies for yourself and loved ones. Ka-ching!
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Because your birthday is about a month away, it's your turn to lie in the weeds, and do some serious pondering about your new year ahead. Let's face it, your personal here (birthday to birthday) is about to blossom! You can either meander in to this new year, and just respond by default to whatever happens. (Management by crisis.) Or you can set clear goals, which help you steer your course of action, and increase your chances of having the year you really want! What's to lose by trying this? Some private difficulties or a hidden frustrations might occur around Friday. No worries. Venus in your sign makes you charming and diplomatic for the next few weeks. Great time to buy wardrobe goodies!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You're really hitting your stride now, especially in your relationships with others. Expect a very popular six weeks ahead! Many of you will be more involved with others, especially in group settings like classes, conferences, meetings and conventions. It's your time now to schmooze with others, and let them know about your hopes and dreams for the future because their feedback will very likely help you. Mars in your sign makes you energetic and forthright. Venus promises a secret love affair. Nevertheless, partnerships and close friendships are upbeat. Avoid power struggles before the weekend Full Moon on the 26th. Easy does it.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
This is the only time all year when the Sun is high in your chart acting like spotlight on you. Naturally, this makes others notice you more than usual, particularly bosses, parents, teachers, and VIPs. (Incidentally, this also includes the police. So do be aware of this.) The wonderful thing however, is this great lighting (which will last about 5-6 weeks) makes you look unusually competent in the eyes of others. (Cool!) This is why you can expect to be asked to take on increased responsibilities. (Just say yes because you'll do fine.) Avoid power struggles with authority figures at the end of the week. In fact, when your huff arrives, depart in it immediately without any fanfare.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Here's the deal: suddenly, you're restless for adventure and new scenery. You want excitement and stimulation! This is why you have to do whatever you can in the next month to explore new turf. Travel anywhere if you can. Go places you've never been to before. Be a tourist in your own city. Publishing, higher education, and the media are all areas that intrigue you. Some are very involved in medicine and the law. You want to push the boundaries of your daily existence. You don't want to go stale. Quite the opposite, you want to do whatever it takes to stay fresh! It's a big world out there, and you know life is more than a sexually transmitted disease.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Suddenly a lot of activity is starting to take place in a part of your chart that is all about the wealth of others, including whatever you share with others. This involves taxes, debt, mortgages, shared property, and anything that is jointly held with someone else. This is also the part of your chart that is very passionate and sexual. (Like wow! Sex and money.) This is why you'll be feeling unusually intense about issues during the next six weeks. A dustup about something could occur before the Full Moon on the 26th. Fortunately, travel for pleasure is very likely in the next few weeks. Yeehaw! You can make this happen because your ambition is aroused. "Saddle up. Lock and load!"
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
This is the only time all year when the Sun is directly opposite your sign, which means it's as far away as it gets all year. Since the Sun is your source of energy, you will easily feel tired and bushed. Try to get more sleep. Nevertheless, travel plans, and matters dealing with higher education, medicine, the law, publishing, and the media demand attention. On Friday, before the Full Moon on the 26th, tension with partners and loved ones is something you can avoid by demonstrating grace under pressure. Think of the big picture. Happiness is most important. Be tolerant about little details that don't really matter. (Tough I know, because you're a perfectionist.)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
As both Mercury and the Sun shift this week, you are suddenly gung ho to get working! Your standards are high. It might be the weather, or it could be your busy schedule, or whatever the source -- you intend to be organized, productive, efficient, and effective! You want everything in its place, and you want to get a terrific amount done. (My, my.) Well, don't waste this precious motivation! Act on it while you have this strong urge. Figure out what you want to get done, and give yourself the right tools to do a great job. Focus on improving your health as well. After all, you're on a big reform campaign, aren't you? You've decided to clean up your act so you can take it on the road!
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Party city for Pisces! The month ahead is all about vacations, parties, fun times, the arts, playful activities with children, and increased interest in sports. Basically, you want to have fun! You also feel unusually creative and willing to explore artistic adventures. This is a wonderfully pleasurable time for romance. Some of you could meet new love. Others will rekindle what is already simmering on the back burner. Nevertheless, Mars opposite your sign, makes it easy to feel irritated with partners and close friends.
