All Signs
Spring has sprung! Three planets in Aries now oppose Saturn. This opposition will make you acutely aware of the limitations you face. Aaggh! The smart thing is not to be overwhelmed by these obstacles. Of course, in your world, and your mind, your problems seem big. But when you think of other people's problems, especially in other countries, this puts things in perspective. If you think of global problems - your problems will shrink. Try it. It's the old story. You think you have it bad. But hey -imagine having a heart attack during a game of charades, and your teammates were all bad guessers? Oy vey.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
With the Sun, Mercury, and Venus in your sign now, it's all about you! These planets attract wonderful, positive attention to you during the next month. Favours, opportunities, and important people will gravitate to you. Mercury in your sign makes you want to enlighten others about whatever interests you. Venus makes you charming and diplomatic. This is a great time to buy wardrobe items because you like what you see in the mirror. Difficulties with partners are regrettably, unavoidable. Relationships that are meant to end will end. Relationships that are meant to endure will adjust. It all moves forward because that's what time does.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
It's rather unusual, but three planets are now sort of "hiding" in your chart. This means it might be a good time for you to hide as well. Of course, you don't have to literally hide (unless you like that sort of thing). What you have to do is be low-key and work alone or stay under the radar so that you have enough privacy and downtime to give some serious thought to what you want your new year to be all about. (Your new year is from birthday to birthday.) In other words, give yourself a chance to establish goals, and develop a game plan. You can either let life just happen to you, and you respond in a management by crisis style. Or you can steer things the way you want them to go. Your choice.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
The next month (and even longer) is going to be unusually popular for you. This is not the time to go it alone. Get out and schmooze with the best of them! Join clubs, groups, classes, and any kind of organization that appeals. All kinds of group dynamics will keep you pumped. You feel a strong need to interact with others now, so give yourself a chance to do this. New romance in a group situation could spring up. Expect to hang out with younger, artistic people. While all this is going on, use this opportunity to bounce your objectives and hopes for the future off others. See what they say. Their feedback will help you.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This handful of planets in Aries is taking place at the very top of your chart. This means it makes you very high viz. Not only do others notice you, but in particular, bosses, VIPs, parents, and teachers notice you more than usual. Furthermore, they see you in an extremely positive light, which is why someone will probably ask you to take on a special job. Say yes. You'll be fine. (A little secret: You won't have to do anything extra special to keep these people happy. The good lighting will do it for you.) Romance with someone older, richer, or more worldly could begin now. Important people will certainly listen to you, because Mercury is at high noon in your chart. Make them an offer they can't refuse! (The Godfather riff here.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Mars is still in your sign (naturally, it's going to stay there until summer) but at least, it's now going forward! You're getting stuff done! This heavy hit of planets in Aries helps you because Aries is your fellow Fire Sign. Specifically, it arouses your sense of adventure, and makes you want to reach out and grab more of life. You want to learn more, you want to travel, you want to meet people from different backgrounds. Therefore, do whatever you can to satisfy this urge! In addition, explore opportunities in publishing, the media, medicine, higher education, and the law. Be a tourist in your own city. Adventure is like fishing for living. When you're out at sea, you'd rather be home. When you're at home, you'd rather be out at sea.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This is an unusually intense time for you, and for various reasons, it will continue to feel this way for the next 4-6 weeks. Some of this intensity will be romantic passion! Oo la la! Because you do feel passionate about whatever is happening in your life right now. And sex can be hot, even transforming! (That says a lot.) Ironically, the same celestial influence that attracts passionate relationships to you will also attract money and goodies. This is a great time to get a loan or a mortgage. Some will receive an inheritance, or money back for the government, or unexpected benefits from the wealth of others. No wonder some of you are having a secret love affair. (Let's say no more about that! This is a widely read column.)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
For the next several weeks, the Sun, Mercury, and Venus will oppose your sign. This will cause you to focus your attention on partnerships and close friendships. No question. (Eyes across a crowded room and all that.) It also makes you much more involved with members of the public than usual. In addition, other influences promote your involvement with groups. To put it mildly -- you're busy! Everyone wants a piece of you. Just accept this and go with the flow. This is an excellent time to clarify things with those who are close to you. A mutual understanding is easy to achieve. It's pleasantly cozy. Meanwhile, back at the office, you're getting a better handle on things at work.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Without question, something is motivated you to get organized! (Are fussy relatives about to visit?) Actually, you want to get organized at work as well as at home, but this is a good thing. No matter what you do, you are going to love yourself for the results later. Do whatever you can to reduce clutter. Then, tackle cleaning and reorganizing. Give yourself whatever tools you need to do the job -- cleaning equipment, shelving, file folders, cabinets, whatever. Get serious. You've been very ambitious lately, and this ambition will continue. If your support scene is efficient and organized -- you'll be enormously ahead of the game in achieving whatever it is you want to do.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Zees is ze time for loff. (Especially if you are in loff.) Romance can be off the charts for the next few weeks. All enjoyable, prankish, delightful diversions will appeal. The arts can flourish. Your creative vibes are hot. Sports, the theatre, playful activities with children, and vacations are great choices for the next six weeks. You want adventure, fun, and thrills! This is a great time for show business, the entertainment world, and anything to do with the hospitality industry. Casual flirtations might be very exciting, and the beginning of something even more exciting. You feel very relaxed being exactly who you are now. "I loff me!"
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
This heavy concentration of planets in Aries makes you focus on home, family and domestic issues during the next six weeks. That's just fine. Your Capricorn respect for the tradition of a white picket fence and 2.5 kids are the backbone of society. Actually, the month ahead is an excellent time to redecorate, or buy something beautiful for your home. It's also a great time to entertain. Some of you will be tackling repairs at home before you entertain (or maybe afterwards if you're entertaining gets particularly gymnastic). "We've kid-proofed the house, but they keep getting in!"
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You're busy! Three planets now urge you to take a short trips, talk to siblings and relatives, plus read, write, and study voraciously. In addition, you will randomly leap up to do errands, and run around being everything to everyone. It's just what it is. Go with the flow. This fast pace will continue for the next 4-6 weeks. The good news is it's a lovely busyness. You will enjoy the beauty of your surroundings. Furthermore, you will marvel at how much more love there is in your daily world -- more than you suspected. (Perhaps it's time to frame that Norman Rockwell?)
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
"Money, money, money, always sunny, in the rich man's world." Keep your eyes open for ways to boost your income because they do exist. Some of you might see ways to earn a little on the side, others will discover new and better paying jobs. This focus on money also heightens the speed of your cash flow. Now you see it, now you don't! Expect to buy beautiful things for yourself and loved ones. The bottom line is this: trust your moneymaking ideas and impulses because they will help you. In addition, you're rolling up your sleeves and getting ready to work harder. It's all coming together. Ka-ching!
