All Signs
Mars has been retrograde since December 20 of last year. (Time flies when you're unconscious.) Finally, this week it goes forward! This is why you felt you weren't accomplishing much, or that whatever you were doing was an uphill struggle. Mars rules aggression, assertion, and also it rules our muscles and our sex drive. From this week onward, it will be all systems go! (Normally, every two years, Mars is in one sign for seven weeks. Through a celestial fluke, it's been in one sign (Leo) since October of last year where it will stay there until July. But at least, in this particular week, we will all a feel forward momentum to whatever we're doing. Move forward! Nevertheless, I agree with Ogden Nash. Progress might have been all right once, but it has gone on too long.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You find yourself fighting with others, and you're not even sure why. Since October, there's been strife and turmoil at home, as well as with family members, or anybody you live with. Grrr. Tension, conflict and fighting have been a drag. Relations with parents have been especially difficult! (This is because your ruler, fiery Mars, is agitating your private world.) Enuff awreddy! Things might also be difficult with career and dealing with bosses. Unfortunately, these aggressive feelings will continue until summer; however, at least, from here on, you'll be much more productive at home! Your efforts will bring results instead of confusion. Something you can be thankful for.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Have you noticed how bizarre your life has been since last October? The pace of your days has been busy, and your communications with others have been vigorous! (If you haven't noticed this, I assure you, others have.) This is because you identify too strongly with your ideas. If anyone disagrees with you, you take it personally. Hey - can you perhaps lighten up a bit? The planet Mars (Lord of War) is colouring your communications with others, and this causes a problem. But it does help you teach, act, train, sell, market, or persuade others. Fortunately, beginning this week and into the summer, your effectiveness and efficiency will almost double compared to what it's been for the last three months. (Wow!)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Since October, your cash flow scene has been accelerated. Money in/money out, but money going out faster than coming in. What's frustrating is, since December, your ability to earn money met with delays, obstacles, and reversals. (Aaggh!) Starting this week, although your focus on cash flow continues to be strong -- those delays, obstacles, and reversals will start to disappear. Many of you will begin to earn more money. Yay! (About time.) Financial disputes will also lessen. In fact, you'll start to accomplish more, and see new ways to put your money and your possessions to good use. It's encouraging! And this lovely, positive $hift lasts right into the summer.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Even though Mars is doing this loooong stretch in Leo, while it is in the early degrees (like right now), you'll feel unusually aggressive and dare we say pushy? (We did.) This energy has made you more of a fighter for your own rights than usual. It also provokes trouble with partners and close friends. They think you're too pushy. You think you're just standing up for yourself. This will continue until May, and won't be gone until July. The good new is that beginning this week, your ability to get things done will hugely improve! It's as if everything just starts to fall in place. Obstacles and impediments will disappear. You'll find it easy to work hard to get what you want. Great! Nothing risque, nothing gained.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You've been sandbagged over the last three months. Life has thrown you so many detours, it's been impossible to stay on course with your objectives. Some of these delays might ultimately lead to a residential change or a job move in the next two years (because this will happen for most of you). This week, the good news is Mars in your sign will finally go forward for the first time since mid-December. You will feel this. "Gentlemen, start your engines." Right now, you might be involved in secret, behind the scenes deals or affairs. (Woo, woo.) But as the ball gets rolling, your strength and determination will balloon, allowing you to achieve great things. Maybe gargantuan! (Like wow.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This is the week to get serious about your goals. For starters, give them some thought. Identify your objectives. What are three things you hope to do this year? Where would you like to be three to four years from now? Or even later? Since December, your efforts to work with others, especially in group situations have been frustrating. It's been tough coordinating things. Starting this week, team action will beautifully fall into place. Your high energy will demand (and get) cooperation from others. All group activities, especially physical events and sports, will be a positive, gung ho experience. Partnerships are important now. You have an opportunity to set the stage for how you want things to unfold. (People will be eating out of your hand.)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Was it the Olympics? What happened to arouse your ambition? If you don't feel this already, you'll start to feel it this week. It's almost as if you've been driving in reverse since December. There hasn't been enough forward momentum to achieve what you really wanted to do. A major shift - a 180° swing -- will take place this week that provokes you to work extremely hard to achieve something. You'll want to your own boss. Conflict with others will arise if anyone threatens your efforts to get ahead. Fortunately, praise, cooperation, and opportunities will support you now. Just when you need a little help -- there it is! Well, whaddya know?
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Travel opportunities are exciting. Starting this week, different doors leading to different kinds of adventure will start to open. They might be about travel, experiencing other cultures, and meeting people who are different from you. Hype and enthusiasm with publishing, the media, medicine, and the law will come into play. Anything to do with higher education or advanced training might get you pumped. You want to have fun! Flirtations, romance, love affairs are promising. Parties, the theatre, the arts, musical performances, and sports could rock your world! Life is taking on an exciting shift. Ultimately, this will lead to decisions to move on, or let go of something in order to explore new avenues. (Holy Cannoli!)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Some of you are juggling highflying deals right now about shared property, or something that is jointly owned. Or you're dealing with debt, mortgages, insurance matters, inheritances and wills. You're thinking big! (Forget those get-rich-slow schemes.) You're ready for action! Family and home are enjoyable. This is a great time for redecorating. Meanwhile, back in the bedroom, your sex drive is going to get a strong boost this week that will last for months! (You realize someone of interest will read this.) Basically, you're going to change the way you address your world. (Don't leave home without your megaphone.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Your world is whirling with activity. Relations with siblings and daily contacts are warm and friendly; however, relations with partners and close friends might be contentious and full of friction. In part, this is because you no longer agree to bottle up your grievances. You're speaking out. You're bringing things out into the open because you have no choice.
