All Signs
It's a quiet week in celestial terms. The Full Moon in Virgo occurs on the 28th; and Mars continues to be retrograde until March 10th. After that, Mars goes forward on D-Day, the sixth of June. (Normally, once every two years, Mars is in one sign for about six weeks. But right now, it's in one sign (Leo) for eight months!) This makes life feel out of whack! It's as if one part of our world is all-important and all-consuming. Our everyday balance is lost. This will create hair-raising experiences or just hairy situations depending on who you are. Good luck! (Speaking of which, did you know the big advantage of being bald is you can style your hair with a damp cloth?)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Retrograde Mars creates chaos or increased activity at home, plus tension with family. Friends and relatives might be camped on your doorstep eating you out of house and home. What is equally likely, is you are the person on somebody else's sofa, drinking all their booze! Either way, your month ahead is full of parties, vacations, fun, romance, love affairs, creative opportunities in the arts, wonderful moments in show business, great stuff in sports, and enjoyable, playful times with kids. Do take time to plan what you want your new year (birthday to birthday) can be all about. This is a benchmark year! From here on, you're going for the gold!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Your home scene has been quite chaotic for some months. Possibly, increased tension exists there as well. (It figures.) Now however, you might find that further tension with relatives and siblings, or other daily contacts, dampen your enthusiasm. Fortunately, this is a wonderfully popular time for you. Romance is promising. Friends could become lovers. Interaction with artistic types pleases you. You're unusually forthright in your communications, which is great if you teach, act, sell, market, or need to persuade anybody about anything. It's a bold time for you if you drive for a living. "Outta my way!"
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Secretly, down deep, you're wondering what you want to be when you grow up. You're increasingly motivated to make money, as well to communicate and enlighten others. (Oh my.) This growing assertiveness in your style of communicating is confidence building. You feel better and better about who you are. And the better you feel, the more courageous you become. Your interest in the arts, foreign films or filmmaking, metaphysical ideas, and exploring other religions is riveting. Your intellectual aspirations cause others to view you differently. This in turn, could even change your life direction. Gads! Who knew?
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You're re-thinking returning to an old job, or resurrecting old ways of earning money. You might feel delays with cash flow. Be reassured that in about two weeks, a burst of energy will hit your finances. You'll work harder for your money, and at the same time, you'll spend it freely! (From your point of view, you'll be hemorrhaging cash.) Travel, higher education, medicine, the law, or something to do with publishing and the media could be gobbling up your funds. Be careful about decisions with other people's property and resources, or decisions about how to divide something or share an inheritance. Fuzzy thinking? Vaseline on your lens?
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Your progress has been dismal in so many areas, but it's not your fault. You're caught up in this insanity called life. You know that even though you're working hard, you're not really working as efficiently as you normally do. You're putting in the hours, but the results just aren't there! Mars is in your sign right now, and it's retrograde, which means you feel like you're spinning your wheels. This frustrating time is temporary. Hallelujah! The turning point will be D-Day - the sixth of June. And what a turning point that is! You'll suddenly attack everything on your plate with zeal, energy, and confidence. Until then, do what you can. Avoid important agreements with partners this week. (It's tough to see things clearly.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
With the Sun as far away from your sign is it gets all year, you need more sleep. (The Sun is your source of energy.) Relations with partners and close friends are all-consuming now. People make demands of you, and naturally, you try to deliver. Mixed messages and possibly misplaced idealism at work could put you on wobbly footing. Not good. When things get this fuzzy, you don't like it. You have a mind that you know you can rely on, so when it seems be unreliable, it's disconcerting. Of course! Expect less of yourself right now. Just get the basics done. In a few weeks, it's going to be all systems go. Until then, make sure you're wearing matching socks. Appearances are everything.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Life has been frustrating because your ambition is aroused, yet it's hard to have energetic follow-through! You have these wonderful ideas and big plans that you intend to complete, but every day so little gets done. Yet, you're working "hard", and your focus is totally on the job at hand. Whaaat? Consider this one of life's cruel hoaxes. Mars is high in your chart forcing you to work, but it's a going backwards! And so are you. In a couple of weeks, your efficiency and effectiveness will be off the charts. Nevertheless, your Muse is on speed dial. Jot down your creative ideas because they're imaginative and original. (Somerset Maugham said he was grateful he did this because after the age of 60, he didn't have an original thought. Doubtful. He never lost his "edge".)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Your ambition continues to be strong even though your effectiveness is down, certainly, in your eyes. Travel plans look promising. Ditto for educational plans, and matters with publishing, the media, medicine, and the law. Nevertheless, no matter how hard you work, you feel caught up in confusion. Romance, love affairs, parties, sports, and fun times with children are delightful. At least, you can laugh! But confusion at home, and delays in what you want to do are unavoidable. Don't worry about this because life will be different in two weeks. It will be like a veil is lifted. "I can walk! I can see!" In the meantime, don't be hard on yourself. Why bother? There are plenty people around who are willing to do that for you.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You've been going in circles trying to figure out how to work with the resources of others, or share something with someone else, or use what your partners generate. It hasn't been easy. You want a successful financial collaboration! Well, as Bruce's grandmother used to say, "Wantin' ain't gettin'!" (Perhaps that's why he turned to physics hoping to disprove her.) Continue to focus on home, family, real estate, and domestic issues. The answers you want regarding collaboration with others will be more apparent within two weeks. At that time, all will be clear. This week your thinking is so idealistic, you must test your conclusions. Like biting to test for gold.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
This pesky backwards motion of Mars is causing problems with partners and close friends. You might think the problem is nothing to do with you because it's abundantly apparent that the problem lies with others! But does it really? It takes two to quarrel. Even the lowly molecule is a double helix. Life is yin/yang, salt and pepper, Henrik and Daniel. Of course, what you need is those elusive twins -- peace and quiet. Be very careful about money matters this week. (Because money matters.) Your thinking is a bit fuzzy, as well as perhaps too idealistic? Don't give away the farm. Fortunately, your enthusiasm for life carries the day. Writers, editors, salespeople, actors, and teachers are just swell.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
This week, Mercury is in your sign lined up with fuzzy Neptune. Although this increases your idealism, and your appreciation for beauty, it can blur the distinction between what you can do and what you just wish you could do. Although the power of wishing is not to be underestimated, reality does have its hard edges. Therefore, if you're making major decisions about finances, or anything connected with your work, or even your health, (in fact, especially your work and your health) wait for a week. Make sure your vision is clear. In fact, in two weeks, your energy will be freed enormously! At that time, all kinds of projects will get the green light. Hope springs eternal!
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
With the Sun, Venus, Jupiter, and Uranus still in Pisces -- there's so much activity swirling around you! Mostly, it's all fun. However, some behind the scenes confusion -- mental confusion -- might take its toll. Ironically, it could enhance your Spidey sense. You'll feel very intuitive and "tuned in" this week. And this may well be the case. Yet it cannot be trusted entirely. Therefore, be careful gambling both literally and in love. Be extra clear in all your communications, especially with children, sports, creative matters, and social occasions. Your playful happiness can cause you to overlook some very real, nitty-gritty details. Nevertheless, pleasure, romance, social diversions and shopping for clothes will delight. "It's 60% off!"
