All Signs
(People have asked for clarification about what Mars.) Once every two years, Mars is in your sign up for about 6 weeks. When that happens, it revs your energy and assertiveness. Once every two years, for 6 weeks, Mars opposes your sign. When that happens, it provokes arguments, disputes and annoyance with others. Mars is almost always making some aspect (mathematical angle) to some of your planets. This is why you're energetic, lethargic, passionate, or ready to fight. These broad energies rise and fall. Right now, however, through a celestial fluke, Mars is in one sign (Leo) for eight months! We all feel this! (Leo and Aquarius are at each other's throats, and Taurus and Scorpio are in the fray as well!) "No prisoners!"
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Jupiter is now in Pisces for the first time since 1998. It will stay there until January 2011. This has a subtle effect on you -- subtle and yet also very strong. What will happen is this year you'll feel increasingly compassionate for others. You may have an increased interest in spirituality or religion. You'll definitely will have a genuine impulse to help others, especially those who are less fortunate. In other words, your sense of altruism will be heightened. You might be inspired by a teacher, or in turn, play this role for someone else. Meanwhile, the Full Moon on Friday/Saturday might stir up trouble with friends or groups. Be patient and tolerant. Don't get your belly in a rash.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Do read All Signs above. Because Mars is usually in Leo for only six weeks (and this occurs only once every two years) its influence is fleeting. Nevertheless, even then, it stirs up trouble on the home scene, and creates chaos and increased activity. Right now, (don't ask) Mars is in Leo for eight months! That's why the peace and harmony you normally enjoy at home is so insanely disrupted. Chaos and increased activity are an ongoing thing! ("Where is my sanity? I know I had it when I arrived.") In addition, the Full Moon on Friday/Saturday will provoke this situation even more, especially with bosses, parents, and authority figures, and family members. Oy vey! Enuff awreddy. Time to send out for dark chocolate.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
There's good news and bad news. The good news is Jupiter is starting to move across the top of your chart for the first time since 1998. This will last for about 18 months. Jupiter will boost opportunities for your profession, career, social status, and reputation with your peers. It favours legal and court decisions, and anything with authority figures. Because you sense the wind is at your back, you'll try hard to make the most of any chance to advance your reputation and career. (Note: Career is what you "do"; you might not get paid for it.) The bad news is the Full Moon on Friday/Saturday is accident prone. Mainly because you're impatient, argumentative, and frustrated. Therefore --- stay mellow.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Cancer generally need a reason to travel. You travel to see family, or for business, or to take a course, or attend a conference. For whatever reason, you will travel this year. Opportunities in publishing, the media, medicine, and the law, will abound. (Yay!) This is a great year for writers. Relations with foreign countries or people from other cultures will go well. You might join a human potential or consciousness raising group. You'll enjoy the art and wisdom of other cultures. It's all fun stuff, and it's also stuff that expands your world. Caution: the Full Moon on Friday/Saturday could create financial pressures. Stay on top of debt, taxes, inheritances, and how things are shared. (Oops.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Mars in your sign has you pumped with energy. Use the first half of this year to get stuff done because you're high octane, baby! Guard against disputes with Aquarians, and others in general. This is going to be an extremely fortunate year for you in practical terms because you will benefit from the wealth and resources of others. Inheritances, money back the government, gifts, goodies, favours, perks, and indirect benefit through your partner -- or someone else - will help you. Big warning: the Full Moon on Friday/Saturday is in Leo. Be extra patient with others, for your own peace of mind (and theirs)! Would I kid you?
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Jupiter is now in Pisces for the rest of the year, which is good news Why? Because Pisces is directly opposite your sign. This means your encounters with others will be beneficial. For starters, partnerships will improve beautifully. You could meet someone slightly older, richer, more established, or from a different background. All one to one encounters will teach you something. It's a great time to form working units. (This is not a year to go it alone.) Get involved with others because they will help you. Meanwhile, the Full Moon on Friday/Saturday could be stressful at work or to your health. Stay very low key. Keep your zip lipped.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Your health will improve this year, and your sense of well-being will be elevated. Your body will have more physical strength and vitality. You'll feel great! The only downside is you might gain weight. Aaggh! (Time to let out another pleat in the shower curtain?) Another payoff will be work. Your job and your work will become more rewarding and fulfilling. You might get a better job, or a new job, or new duties, or a new workstation. You won't you mind working harder and longer because you'll enjoy what you're doing. Reality check: The Full Moon on Friday/Saturday is stressful for romantic involvements, sports, the arts, and working with children. Every Full Moon demands extra patience.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You're the big winner because lucky Jupiter is now in the most fun part of your chart until January 2011. Yeehaw! This will totally boost romance, love affairs, fun, social occasions, vacations, and pleasurable outings. It's party city for all Scorpios! Jupiter also brings increased opportunities in financial speculation, sports, the hospitality industry, and the entertainment world. Artists will flourish. Children will be a source of joy. Your family might expand through birth, adoption or marriage. However, tread carefully this weekend because the Full Moon on Friday/Saturday puts you in the middle of career versus home and family. Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
