All Signs
This week three planets change signs: Mercury moves into Libra where it will soon go retrograde slipping back into Virgo. (Gulp.) Venus moves into Leo where it will stay until September 21st; and Mars moves into Cancer to remain until mid-October. It's a whole new world! However, the big shift is that the Sun is now in Virgo, and no matter what the other planets are doing, the Sun really calls the shots. This is also a week of rather severe power struggles. Don't take the bait. Avoid angry confrontations. Anger serves no function except make everyone miserable. Yeah, yeah I know - it's hard to keep your shirt on when you're trying to get something off your chest.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is one of the best times all year for you to get organized! That's because you're gung ho with a motivation to be more efficient, more effective and more productive in everything you do. You want results for your efforts. You want to get more bang for your buck. Therefore, give yourself all the support that you need. Buy shelving material, folders, cleaning equipment, paint, or whatever you need to do a fabulous job. You want a home for everything and everything in its place. Considering the number of projects you have on the go, you're going to love yourself in a few weeks, when you finally feel so much more on top of your scene. "It's true. I love me!"
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
What a playful month ahead! Suddenly you're in the mood for romance, love affairs, exciting diversions, the theatre, movies, sporting events and playful times with children. The next several weeks are the perfect time for a vacation; and for falling in love. Basically, the bottom line is you want to enjoy life. Since you are a sign who loves your creature comforts (food, drink and sex) these challenges will simply be a happy opportunity for you. (Ah yes.) Also, because you're keen to redecorate where you live, or buy beautiful things for your home, this is a wonderful time to entertain at home. You have lots of enthusiasm and drive. You want to have fun; and you want to enjoy family relationships and the beauty of your home. You rock!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Several changes are taking place right now. Venus is going to make all your interactions with others particularly gracious and diplomatic for the next several weeks. (You charmer.) This really helps you to be on your game. Mars is increasing your interest in money which is my you'll work harder to earn money and harder to spend it as well. Nevertheless, the biggest influence that is taking place is your focus on home, family and domestic matters. Discussions with parents might be significant. You might also be more involved in real estate deals or family functions. You'll also welcome home to privacy where you can be by yourself and contemplate your navel. Childhood memories might trigger new revelations about who you are versus who you think who are. Ah so, Grasshopper!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
The tempo of your days is definitely beginning to accelerate. Suddenly, your schedule is jam-packed with short trips, errands, increased activities with siblings and relatives, plus more demands to read, write and study. In the blink of an eye -- you're busy! You're also eager to talk to others because you want to enlighten them about something. Mars is in your sign making you extra feisty, assertive and aggressive. (Get more exercise to blow off some of this pent up energy.) Meanwhile, back at the bank, fair Venus encourages you to spend money on beautiful things for yourself and others. Ka-ching! Guard against nasty power struggles this week with partners. Sidestep these if you can. (They won't be pretty.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
For various reasons, you're extremely motivated to earn money. (Lord knows you can spend it.) During this time when your focus is so strongly on money and earnings -- you'll find yourself reflecting upon your values in general. Good! It's important to know what really matters in life. Sure, it's wonderful to have goodies, but they're temporary. (And often they're just a quick gratification that wasn't really necessary.) This is a good time to weigh your value system, and assess what is important. (Hey , you never see a hearse pulling a U-Haul.) I think if our actions mean anything for whatever happens to us after we die, I suspect the only things we take "with" us are the things we gave away.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
With the Sun in your sign, you're invigorated and energized! Your concerns are personal; and that's fine -- it's totally appropriate to put yourself first. Make the most of the opportunities and important people that come your way during the next four weeks. Enjoy increased popularity. Group activities with others, especially physical sports or competitive activities are likely in the next month. This increased swirl of activities will likely (ironically) increase your need for privacy. You'll want some solitude in beautiful surroundings. Make sure you give yourself this chance to replenish and restore yourself. After all, you're setting out on a completely new path!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
It's the one time of the year when you're best served by lying in the weeds and working behind the scenes. Pull in your reins a little because this is the perfect time to strategize how you want your new year (birthday to birthday) to unfold. Nevertheless, Venus is setting up lots of social situations for you. Lovely invitations are tempting. In fact, a friend could become a lover. New romance can blossom! Even though you want to hide in the wings, your ambition is aroused. This is why you're blowing hot and cold. One moment you're out there flying your colours; and the next moment, you're playing it cool and private. And so it goes.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Friendships, groups, clubs and organizations are important to you in the next few weeks. You'll enjoy the company of others; and they want to see your face. This is an excellent time to form partnerships and working unions with others. Co-operation is easy. Get out and socialize! Accept all invitations because your interaction with others will do two things: you will meet new people and make new friendships; but also, the interaction you have with others will influence your long-term goals. All of this schmoozing is very important! The people you meet now, and the things you do, could be the beginning of something that matures in years to come.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
My, my! Look who's in the limelight! In the next six weeks, people will notice you more than usual -- especially bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs. (This includes the police.) The good news is the way they notice you is extremely favourable! (This might not include the police.) People are so impressed with you, they want you to accept increased responsibilities or do something. Say yes - because you can pull it off with style. (Even if you don't think so.) Travel opportunities are wonderful. Your sex drive is strong. Flirtations will abound because others can sense this!
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
For the next six weeks, you're seized by a wanderlust! You want to go somewhere. You want something exciting and different to happen. You want to meet unusual people and learn fascinating things. You want more out of life! Naturally, this is a perfect time to travel, or to go back to school, or sign up for a course, or have an exciting, love affair with someone from a different culture or distant country. Fortunately, gifts, goodies and favours from others will help you pull this off. The only downside is relations with partners and close friends are testy, especially this week. Don't expect too much from others. Focus on the future: give up hoping for a better past.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Partnerships and close friendships are beautifully favoured. You're in love! In fact, encounters with others will produce real soul-searching. We're talking profound, deep thoughts. "Keep thinking Butch - that's what you're good at." (Wasn't Aquarian Paul Newman perfect as Butch Cassidy?) Fortunately, you're ready to work hard right now. Some of you will also delegate with gusto! This is a good time to focus on shared property, inheritances, insurance matters, and how to deal with the someone else's values when you don't agree with them! (This is always tough.) However, don't be too pushy at work because you'll create conflict and explosions with others. Eeeeasy does it.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
This is the only time all year when the Sun has a 180° focus on you, which makes you focus on partnerships and close friendships. Obviously, this is a good time to think about how to improve your partnerships. (Remember: for a partnership to be good, you have to be as good for your partner as he or she is for you.) It's easy to earn more money in the next few weeks. Capitalize on this. Relationships with co-workers are pleasant. Romance however, is rocky this week! Ditto for relations with children. Avoid meltdowns and blowups. What purpose do they serve? Wait until things are calmer to make your point. (Because you do have one.)
