This week the world has a Full Moon, plus Mercury now goes retrograde for the second time this year. ("These are perilous times for the Federation.") To put it mildly, your coping skills will be tested! The Full Moon will peak by the end of the week, which means problems will intensify as the week wears on, but mercifully they'll diminish or even disappear by next week. (Glory hallelujah!) Retrograde Mercury, however, is here for the entire month. (Eeek!) Although it finishes by the end of May, it doesn't resume its snappy speed until mid-June. Therefore, be wise and wait until then to buy cars, automobiles, bicycles, computers and such. Meanwhile, this week is about living in the present... tense.
The Full Moon this week will very likely trigger financial concerns for you. Cash flow will be tight. Earnings could be slim. You might even feel insecure about your image. (Hey, it's hard to feel confident when you're broke.) On top of this, silly little errors keep occurring with practically everything you do! (Groan.) To minimize this angst, charge your cell phone; pay your phone bill; return library books and borrowed items; stay in touch with siblings; and guard against minor accidents. The upside is you might find a way to earn money connected with an old idea you once discarded -- or perhaps a job you once had? Ka-ching!
You'll definitely feel the Full Moon tension building up this week because this particular Full Moon is the only Full Moon opposite your sign all year. ("No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!") Difficulties with partners and close friends are likely, especially by Thursday/Friday. But the even bigger news is ex-partners and old lovers (who might not be old at all) are back on the scene again. "Zelda!" "Richard!" Perhaps this is an opportunity for closure? Alternatively, it could be tense and uncomfortable, depending on how the relationship ended. Oh well. Demonstrate grace under pressure. (You can do this because you've got class.)
Unfortunately, the Full Moon this week will trigger tension with co-workers and colleagues the closer you get to Friday. However, this is small potatoes compared to Mercury retrograde for the rest of this month. (Oh yeah.) After all, Mercury is your ruler! About three times a year, it goes retrograde causing you to make goofy little mistakes, misplace papers, lose items like keys and glasses, and run into all sorts of people (especially ex-partners) from your past. It's frustrating because you feel like it's one step forward, two steps backward. But don't let this get you down! And don't start to doubt yourself. You've been here before. You survived. You got the T-shirt. (Big deal.)
Naturally, since you're ruled by the Moon, you'll feel tension about problems increasing this week until Friday. Aaaggh! Then, miraculously, these very same problems will diminish or disappear. (Go figure.) Don't get too emotional about anything. (I know it's hard to keep your shirt on when you're trying to get something off your chest.) Meanwhile, back at your Rolodex, all kinds of friends and faces are popping out of the woodwork. Mostly, this will please you. It's wonderful to have history with others and it's neat to see faces from your past. (Unless you owe them money.) Since you're thinking a lot about your future goals right now, these people from yesteryear could be thought provoking. Ya think?
I'm not going to sugarcoat it. This is a tough Full Moon. It's vibrating between 12 o'clock and six o'clock in your chart. This makes you feel increasingly pulled between the demands of your family and private life, and the demands of your career and your public world. You can't please everyone! Bummer. Just accept this and do what you can. That's all you can do. Go easy on yourself, and avoid squabbles with authority figures (parents, teachers, bosses and VIPs). Old friends are back in your world again. These people might be helpful. They could boost your morale because they always did admire you, and they still do! (You've got what it takes.)
Be careful. Slow down and be aware of what you're doing. Think before you speak and act. This is a mildly accident-prone week for your sign because of the Full Moon on Friday. It could provoke arguments. Therefore, avoid heated discussions about religion, politics or racial issues. In addition, you're running into old bosses, teachers from your past and even old issues with parents. Something here needs to be resolved. (It's not going to go away on its own.) Consider this an opportunity for closure. Just deal with it. Meanwhile, your love life is pretty hot and sexy this month. Woo-woo! Plus gifts and goodies come your way! (We like.)
The Full Moon this week will definitely highlight tension with financial matters, cash flow, inheritances, wills, insurance matters, scholarships, bursaries and anything to do with shared possessions or jointly held property. That about covers it. Expect some disputes in these areas. Tension will increase until Friday. By the weekend, things start to relax again. In the bigger picture, you have the whole month to redo something or reposition matters (related to the above) according to your own best interests. Meanwhile, back in the bedroom, romance is sweet and loving yet strangely irritating as well. What gives? When these little squabbles occur, keep things light. Don't make a big deal about anything. (Why be miserable?)
Ta-da! The only Full Moon in your sign all year is occurring this week on Thursday/Friday (depending on your time zone). That's why you're feeling so emotional and intense about everything. (Sheesh!) Furthermore, these feelings will intensify until after the Full Moon peaks. (Hey, this is good news for the weekend.) Nevertheless, this Full Moon triggers tension with partners and close friends. Therefore, be cool. Jealousy because ex-partners are back in your life again could also be a factor. (Mercury retrograde always resurrects people from the past.) Jealousy is destructive. Don't even go there. By next month, all this will be laughable. Knowing this ahead of time, don't do anything now you'll regret later.
The areas where you're going to have to summon up the most patience are related to your job, and possibly even to your health. Both pesky problems mentioned in All Signs above (the Full Moon and Mercury retrograde) are going to cause problems where you work. These problems might even focus on small pets. (Curious but true.) This week personality differences with co-workers are likely. However, for the rest of the month, you can expect silly errors and delays, plus mixed-up communications, cancelled appointments, lost items and computer errors to dog your steps. (Is there no justice?) Yes, it's super aggravating; however, basically it's small stuff. Nothing you can't handle. Ironically, this is a great time to finish up projects. These will fly by easily this month!
This particular Full Moon might highlight the tension you have with groups or a particular individual. In fact, this tension could make you doubt your ability to attain your dreams for the future. (Don't let this happen. Although it may not feel like this right now, essentially it's just a point of view.) Our life details can change radically in the blink of an eye. This is why it's hard to say you can or cannot do something. Who knows? Motivation is everything. Old flames are back in your world. Possibly old romantic problems as well. This could stir up jealousy. Or you might look at someone you were once so in lust with, and wonder how you ever even went out for lunch with this person. The heart is so fickle!
The Full Moon this week is particularly crunchy for Aquarius, Leo, Taurus and Scorpio -- the Fixed Signs. You'll feel tension between work and career versus home and family. You'll feel pulled in two directions. But you can't be in both places at the same time -- marginal efficiency. This requires a choice. It appears that you cannot ignore the demands of home and family right now. Furthermore, Mercury retrograde is going to bring relatives and family situations from the past back into your life again. You can't ignore these, either! Oy vey. Fortunately, Venus and Mars give you the charm and diplomacy to promote your schmoozing skills. It's all good.
This is a mildly accident-prone week for you because of the Full Moon on Friday. Therefore, don't push the river. Take it easy. Give yourself extra time to do everything. If others challenge you to arguments or quarrels, don't take the bait. (Too tiring! Who needs this?) Be patient with yourself and others about goofy mistakes, mixed-up communications, lost papers, and misplaced items and transportation delays. Allow extra time for travel. Murphy's Law is definitely at play this week. If something can go wrong, it will; but it will be just minor, goofy, errors. Which are, of course, the most maddening! (When the smoke alarm goes off, dinner's ready.)
