All Full Moons are not the same. Some are easier than others, and this is one of them. Each zodiac sign is an element: Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are Fire. Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn are Earth. Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are Air. And Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are Water. ("Elementary, my dear Watson.") But aha! There's another classification. In each of these groups, one sign is "Fixed," one is "Mutable" and one is "Cardinal." A whole new spin! Fixed signs are set in their ways. ("What? No cranberry sauce with the turkey?") Mutable signs fit in wherever they are. And Cardinal signs boldly go where no man has gone before. ("Let's crash that Mary Kay party!") The Full Moon on Thursday is in Libra (Air and Cardinal). Kinda mellow but bold. Like a fine red with a bit of insolence.
This week, the only Full Moon opposite your sign all year takes place on Thursday. Earlier in the week, you'll have the feeling your problems are intensifying. In particular, these problems will focus on your relationships with partners and close friends. Difficulties will arise. These people will be difficult to deal with. Tempers could fray. Fortunately, by Friday (after the Full Moon peaks on Thursday), a mellow sanity returns to these relationships. Therefore, to make sure you're on speaking terms by the end of the week, curb thy Aries tongue! Resist the quick parry from the hip. Stay lovable.
The Full Moon each month occurs in a different sign, hence a different part of your chart. This week the Full Moon on Thursday will tend to rattle your cage at work. It could create tension with co-workers earlier in the week. Or you might feel pushed by the demands of your job for whatever reason. It might be difficult for you to get to work or do your job. Your health could also be stressed. (Take care of your throat.) After the Full Moon peaks on Thursday, you'll notice that these problems begin to diminish or even disappear. ("Who was that masked man?") Keep this in mind when things are tough, earlier in the week. It's a temporary squeeze play.
Each Full Moon has a unique flavour depending on where it lands in your chart. The Full Moon this week on Thursday could create havoc with romantic relationships, flirtations, vacation plans, anything remotely connected with sports, anything to do with children, and also anything to do with show business, the entertainment world and the hospitality industry. Problems and tension in any of these areas could arise earlier in the week. If this happens, remind yourself that after Thursday (the peak of the Full Moon), these problems will diminish or completely disappear. Therefore, don't make a big deal about anything. Capice?
This particular Full Moon on Thursday is very personal for you because it actually takes place in the "home" of your chart. (Remember, the Moon is your ruler because the Moon rules Cancer.) So in a way, it's a double whammy. That's why earlier in the week you'll feel increasing tension with family members or problems about domestic issues. But as long as you remember that this tension will subside or disappear by Friday (certainly the weekend), you'll realize you don't have to make a big deal about things. Yeah, yeah, it's tough to keep your shirt on while you're getting something off your chest.
Be careful. The Full Moon this week is a bit accident-prone for you. It takes place in the part of your chart dealing with transportation, walking, jogging and driving. It also influences relationships with siblings, relatives and neighbours, as well as your speech and daily "thinking" process (including reading and writing). Yikes! We're talking a lot! That's why this week will feel scrambled, especially as you get closer to Thursday. You might feel harried, impatient and distraught. (Distraught is such a wonderful word. "Jeremy, I feel so distraught. Give me the keys to the Mercedes. I need some fresh air.") By the weekend, everything is back to normal. Whew! (See if you can keep the keys.)
"Money, money, money. It's always sunny in the rich man's world." You can choose Pink Floyd or ABBA or someone else entirely to describe your fixation with money this week. The Full Moon on Thursday is practically a sure guarantee that you will feel money angst and concerns about your cash flow as the week goes by and gets closer to Thursday the 9th. To be sure, money is so handy when you want to buy things, especially frills like bread and milk. The good news is that after the Full Moon peaks on Thursday your financial problems will diminish. ("Ah ha! What is this shiny brass lamp?") At the very least, by the end of the week, you'll look at things in a different way. ("Buffett lost $23 billion. Thank gawd, I never had losses like that!")
This week, on Thursday the 9th, the only Full Moon in your sign all year will take place. Without question, this will increase tension and difficulties between you and partners and close friends. You might start feeling it right now at the beginning of this week, and it will likely get more hairy until Thursday. Oy vey. The thing to remember is that by Friday and the weekend, these problems will hugely go away. So don't do anything this week that is hard to forget and forgive. Play your cards right. Demonstrate grace under pressure. When you finally survive the week, you don't want to end up having to eat crow pie. (Whipped cream helps.)
This might be a rather strange week for you. That's because the Full Moon this week will take place in a hidden part of your chart that rules your subconscious. It might feel like you're giving a speech and your underwear is too tight. Whatchyagonnado? As the week goes by and Thursday looms closer and closer, you might feel generally dissatisfied with everyone and everything. Don't beat yourself up about this. It's not really your fault. Be forgiving to yourself and others. But don't blow your cool, either! Be encouraged by the knowledge that by Friday and the weekend you'll be back in fine form again. You'll feel wiggly free and fresh!
Relations with friends, and in particular friends and acquaintances who are members of groups with which you're involved (could be formal, could be casual), will be tested this week! (Actually, the midterm is on Thursday, the day of the Full Moon.) You might be really annoyed with someone or vice versa. These difficulties could tempt you to quit an organization or group, or write off a friend. Don't be too quick to react. All these problems will hugely diminish by Friday and the weekend. Then you can be back on speaking terms with everyone. Figure out how you can muddle through the week with minimal damage to your social scene. You can do it. (You've gotta fake being sincere.)
Heads up! This is the only Full Moon all year at high noon in your chart. Whatever occurs high in your chart is public. Other people notice it. Furthermore, these "other people" are bosses, parents, teachers -- people in authority, including the police. And a Full Moon denotes some kind of stress or opposition. In this case, the opposition is between your public life and your private, domestic world. The classic scenario would be an argument that turns public. (If your name is in the paper, make sure it's for a reason of your choice!) You might want to rebel or react to authority this week. Think twice before you do anything you'll later regret. This will all blow over by Friday.
The Full Moon this week is not going to be very hard for you at all. I'm sure of this. For starters, it takes place in an Air sign, and you're an Air sign. Furthermore, it tends to hype or create confusion in an area that is actually exciting and adventurous in your chart so it could cause problems to travel, publishing, media, medicine and law for anything to do with higher education. But these might be challenges that are exciting, thought-provoking and even liberating. Admittedly, you might have an argument with your professor/teacher/lawyer/doctor. Don't get your belly in a rash. Keep in mind that everything will be pretty mellow by Friday, certainly Saturday. Just keep on your busy course!
You're not the only sign feeling the financial squeeze play this week. Virgo is also dancing this two-step (see above). Until the Full Moon on Thursday peaks, you could be battling concerns about bills, inheritances, insurance matters, taxes and shared property -- anything to do with how you share debt or assets with others. You'll feel a real tug-of-war between balancing your own financial interests and keeping others happy. Do not let these concerns overwhelm you. Once the Full Moon peaks on Thursday, these problems will be less stressful. By the weekend, you might feel completely relaxed about all this. Remember -- it's always darkest before it gets pitch black.
