The planetary aspects this week are lovely. They promote friendship, diplomacy, and enthusiasm plus an increased sensitivity to everything and everyone in the world. In addition, there's a brief (hey, brief is better than nothing) boost to finances, business and commerce. It feels like the worst is behind us, and there's clear sailing ahead. Of course, life being what it is, it's never really clear sailing all the way. Sometimes the water's so deep you can't hook your anchor. And now is the moment to come up with a cool adage like "even a stopped clock is right twice a day" -- but who has the time?
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Your popularity continues! In fact, many of you will be physically active with gyms, classes, sporting events or something that makes you enthusiastic, competitive and gasping for breath. One of these group activities could lead to budding romance for some and, almost certainly, a new friend for others. It's a feel-good time! Nevertheless, with your birthday just a month away, now is the time to pull in your reins, and stay under the radar to give yourself a chance to map out, strategize and dream about what your "New Year" (birthday to birthday) should be. Don't just let life happen to you. First, you tune your instrument, then you make music!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You're ambitious right now, in part, because you sense this is your year to make a name for yourself and to achieve much, especially in the eyes of others. And you're right! This will happen. During the next six weeks, focus on your long-term goals. How can you make some of your dreams a reality? You've been nursing some important dreams and, for those of you who are born in April, these dreams are about to hatch! (Later for May natives.) Of course, they're going to take effort and hard work. But you're up for it and, fortunately, the heavens are giving you an extra push of enthusiasm and energy to help make this happen. Expect big changes this year!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
The Sun is now at high noon in your chart, acting like a spotlight on you, making others notice you more than usual. In particular, bosses, parents and VIPs are impressed! (Even if you don't do anything special.) It's all about lighting. Ask anyone in the film business -- it's true: Good lighting is everything. Opportunities to travel and explore deals with foreign countries and people from other cultures abound. Grab any chance to take a course or get further training and education. Publishing, the media, medicine and the law also offer great opportunities. In the next six weeks, others are unusually supportive. (A friend could become a lover.) Woo-woo!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
The next six weeks are full of exciting opportunities to travel and explore adventurous new realms. Normally, you travel for business or family reasons. (You like to hunker down near home.) However, opportunities for travel are at hand, plus you're keen to expand your horizons. (This could happen with business or educational opportunities.) Gifts, inheritances, bonuses, favours and help from others will pour in this month. Privately, you're hot, sexy and sensually passionate! (Cut this out and stick it on the bathroom mirror for your main squeeze.) Some will strike up a romance with your boss or someone older, richer or all of the above. (The best labour-saving device is a partner with money.)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Suddenly, you're intense about every aspect of your life. The word casual is not in your vocabulary right now! Everything matters. Partnerships are a mix of optimism, fun activity, and brief squabbly moments. ("Whaat?") It's a bumpy road but a fun road with lots of enthusiasm. Publishing and educational opportunities look sweet. Grab them while they last. Your enthusiasm for a number of ventures makes you want to get your ducks in a row and start to work very hard. A lovely time of success awaits you in about three years. (Count on this.) But this month is the time to wrap up details about wills, insurance matters, inheritances, taxes, debt and shared property. Get the most bang for your buck.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You're going to need more sleep than usual in the next six weeks. Just acknowledge this and respect it. Be aware of what you eat, and get more rest. Work is enjoyable, enthusiastic and exciting. Nevertheless, friction with co-workers could arise. You'll handle this with aplomb. No worries. The resources you need in terms of budgetary support or supplies or equipment will be there. You can count on this. The nuances of partnerships are very important now. Establish how you want to share things. Establish who is responsible for what. Be aware of what others expect from you and be prepared to deliver. Naturally, you can also demand what they should give you! Partnerships are two-way deals.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You're gung-ho to work and get organized. You sense you're getting ready for something you've been preparing for, for a long time, either unconsciously or consciously. Later this year and next year, you're going to step into an entirely new sandbox. It's exciting but scary. It's not always easy to leave what is familiar.
