It has come to visit Aries for almost 5 months! Zooks! Light the candles; set out good food and drink. Dress ye in fine clothes and let only sweet words spring from thy tongue. Since life is short; let it be sweet with affection and worldly pleasures. Let the money flow and the taxes be low.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Ah, dear Aries! Fair Venus will favour you from now until July. The last time this happened was 16 years ago, and even then, Venus didn't stay as long as it will this year. What a blessing! This is a wonderful time to improve your self image. In the next several months, add to your wardrobe. Buy things that make you feel great. For starters, you'll like what you see in the mirror which always encourages good choices. (Ever bought clothes when you're depressed? Aaaggh!) Furthermore, Venus increases your social skills with others. Some new threads will make you feel snappy and confident. Venus ranks pleasure about work. Expect good times ahead!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This unusually long sojourn of Venus in Aries is an opportunity to make friends with yourself. It will be far easier now to respect and get in touch with your gentle heart. You'll more easily forgive yourself for the frailties that make you wince from time to time. Not only will you be softer and easier with yourself, this will spread outwards -- and your tolerance for others and indeed your sympathy for those who are less fortunate will grow. This kind of attitude and these kinds of activities can only promote greater well being within you. Therefore, the first half of this year will be quite happy!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
During the first half of this year, your chance to meet new people, especially artistic types and creative people will grow in a wonderful way. You'll enjoy the company of others. You might become more involved with groups, clubs, organizations or perhaps classes of some kind. Friendships will be warmer and more meaningful. However, something else will occur. Cancer (June 21-July 22)

In fact, new romance with bosses, VIPs and authority figures or people who are richer than you can easily begin. Furthermore, no matter what you do for a living, you can expect to be asked for your creative or artistic input on something -- this can range from landscaping, to design, layout, furniture arrangement, whatever. Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You can expect wonderful opportunities to open up in publishing, higher education, the media, medicine and the law during the first half of this year. Any kind of study, writing or exploration of new ideas will delight you. In fact, all learning will be a rewarding experience. This is why travel for pleasure will be so much fun! Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This lengthy stay of Venus in one sign for the first half of the year will improve your health but it will tempt you to go nuts over desserts and sweets. (Venus is the cookie in your chart.) But that's the only downside. It will definitely improve your job in some way. Expect a raise in whatever you do and definitely praise! In fact, romance with a coworker could spring up. Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Oo la la! It's party city for the first half of 2009 for your sign. This is good news for you because you are one sign who works hard and parties hard! You'll definitely take a vacation. Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
This is the year to improve family relationships in anyway you can (because it can be done) and at the same time, improve where you live. Go forward with ideas to redecorate, renovate or spruce up your digs. Because things are so favourable for your home and family scene, by extrapolation, this also applies to real estate deals whether they are for your home or for speculation. This could be one of the reasons why you'll make more money this year. (Because it certainly appears that you're going to do so.) Relations with parents can definitely improve; and your enjoyment of your private life will be satisfying. The only thing to guard against is weight gain. Venus can do this. (No fair!)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You're going to be a powerhouse this year because Jupiter will attract opportunities and good fortune to you, in addition to which your poise and confidence are going to grow. But on top of this (as if that weren't enough) for the first half of the year, Venus is going to pave the way and smooth all your relations with daily contacts, siblings, neighbours and relatives. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Good news for Pisces! This long stretch of Venus which is most unusual and hasn't happened since 1991 is going to boost your income in 2009. Expect a raise, or a better job, or better working conditions. You might come up with ways to make money on the side. Artists will definitely more easily earn money. You might also earn money by buying and selling art. You can probably borrow money more easily as well. Just be careful about spending because you are so tempted now to buy every beautiful thing you see. Goodies will be irresistible, especially fantastic boots. (Which are actually a necessity are they not?)
