All Signs
This week for the first time since 1997-98, Jupiter has returned to Aquarius where it will stay for a year. This is terrific news for Aquarians plus the Air Signs (Libra & Gemini); but it's also good news for every sign depending on where Jupiter in Aquarius journeys through their chart. Jupiter is all about expansion, increase, wealth, good fortune, wisdom, increased learning and travel. To see how this year's lucky shift affects your life - read on. Of course, luck is what we think causes the success of others - especially jerks. And some believe that all the exercise they get is pushing their luck. Aries (March 21-April 19)
During the next 18 months, your popularity will increase! You might join a class, club or organization. You might meet new friends. You might begin to see existing friends more often. One thing is certain: your interaction with others will become more meaningful. In addition, these interactions will affect your ideas about your future. You might start to tweak or even radically change your future goals. Others can be helpful to now which means, this is not the year to go it alone. Oh no! Another thing: your idealism will be aroused. Your hopes for the future for yourself, your family and the whole world will be more positive. You'll feel like you can "believe" again. (No curmudgeons allowed.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Many of you are in for a surprise this year (and 2010.) Something is going to slowly sneak up on you, especially if you're not expecting it. What it is will be an appreciation, an acknowledgment and a positive endorsement from others that comes out of nowhere! It almost feels like you're being "discovered". Whaaat? Depending on what you do, it could mean fame and fortune. Expect praise, public recognition, a promotion, perhaps fan mail and offers of marriage from perfect strangers. Travel that is work related is likely. Who knows, some adoring fans might send you a plane ticket to visit them? You've definitely got your groove back.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Something is going to happen this year that broadens your experience of the world. For some, it will be travel to new and exciting places that teach you something or change your views about life. Others will experience a shift through direct education by going back to school or taking courses that open your eyes and remove prejudices or illusions. And if you're not a student, you might suddenly be a teacher! But you will become more philosophical about something. Your views about the world will mature. Interaction with foreign people and other cultures is more likely than usual. You're going to know a lot more about life by 2010! (Gosh.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Security is important to you. You're a nester; and nests need to be preened, nurtured and securely maintained. Much of this depends on your financial arrangement with others. You share debt with others; you also share jointly held property, inheritances, and matters related to insurance and taxes. What your partner earns and owns also affects you. These are the areas that will improve or become more beneficial to you in the next 18 months. Factoid. For some, it will be minor; for others it will be huge! (The difference depends on who you are, and the kinds of seeds you planted in the past.) You're a gardener -- you know all about planting. Right?
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You're a romantic. In fact, you're so romantic, you sometimes appear pretentious to others -- but that's because they don't get it. They're not turned on by what you find passionately thrilling and meaningful. Big deal. Who cares? (Their loss.) This year (and into 2010) will be especially exciting because partnerships will become more meaningful to you. For starters, singles might enter a committed relationship. Those of you in a partnership will experience a deepening richness and discover a greater sense of joy in what you share with someone. (Of course, they have to appreciate how fabulous you are -- but is this so difficult?) Surely not!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You have much to look forward to this year because the area of your chart that becomes richer and more rewarding is the very area you value. Your job! Even if you don't like your job, you can obsess about it. You're always seeking meaningful work. You love it when you're doing work you enjoy, especially work where you excel and where you make a difference. You want your work to count for something! You're good at your job because you're intelligent, logical, analytical and organized. Plus who understands the concept of service better than you? This year you can improve your job or find a better job (or your horrible boss will shuffle off to Buffalo.) What a welcome change!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You're a fun-loving sign! You and Taurus are both ruled by Venus, the planet that governs beauty, the arts, good food, good wine and charming companionship. Oscar Wilde and Pierre Trudeau were both classic Librans -- people who appreciated good things but also worked hard to achieve what they wanted. That's why you're going to love this year. It's finally your turn to take as many vacations as you can, party your face off, enjoy romantic love affairs, and delight in sports, appreciate the arts, and be enriched through your involvement with children. This hardly sounds like another year in the salt mines. Au contraire! (One must augment one's wardrobe.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Despite our real estate woes, the next 18 months are full of real estate opportunities for you! After all, as Gertrude Stein observed, the money is always there, but the pockets change. All of you, in varying degrees, will improve your home and real estate scene. You'll buy goodies for home, or make your home more beautiful, or you'll find new digs. And hey -- these improvements will go beyond your physical sandbox - they'll apply to your family relationships as well. You'll experience greater joy at home and with family members. You'll be generous to them and they'll be generous to you. (This can happen quickly within the family because you really 'know' each other.) It's all good.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This is a lovely year because if there's one thing you need to keep going it's a sense of optimism. Optimism and activity are survival issues for you. You love the promise of the unknown, the thrill of what is possible. It feeds your penchant to dream big as well as your need for desire. (Like Gemini, you don't do boring.) Therefore, your ruler Jupiter is dealing you aces. The place it resides this year is tied up with your day-to-day activities or more importantly -- your point of view, your attitude and your way of thinking. Suddenly, the way you think is fashionable! People won't shoot down your ideas or scoff at them - they'll listen! Even your family. How amazing is that?
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Whether you're a traditionalist with a white, picket fence and 2.5 kids, or you work in Manhattan and your wardrobe is black, black and sometimes black -- you're a bean counter. To be more precise, you know what things cost -- labels, expensive cars, equipment, food, whatever. You know that money is very handy when you want to buy things. That's why this year holds such promise for you (for some of you, the influence occur in 2010). It's your money year! Value your moneymaking ideas. Don't let fear and caution hold you back. You can increase your earnings and certainly increase your assets. Ka-ching!
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Don't be smug. Yes it's your year to crow; nevertheless, everybody puts their pants on one leg at a time just like you. Sure they weren't born 50 years ahead of their time like you were, and they're might not be the computer whiz or aviation techie or rabble-rouser or scientific genius that you are - but they are the masses -- the people of this planet that you care so much about. Your confidence and belief in what is possible will slowly evolve to a refined poise this year. (You could use a little of that.) Past worries, fears and pessimism will fade, as you start to believe that what you always secretly believed is actually possible! "Well, butter my butt an' call me biscuit!"
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
You're an old soul. You're the last of the signs, which means you're the sum total of them all. You're psychic, sensitive and very dialed in to whatever is going on around you. You not only notice everything, you sort of grock it. ("I see live people.") This year you're going to enhance your ability to ride the honeyed razor's edge of perception. All kinds of experiences are going to help you to increase your compassion, and your ability to truly care for others, especially those who are in need. What could be nobler than this? This is not an airy fairy pie-in-the-sky thing. This is an opportunity for you to become a better person for the rest of your life. (Like wow.)
