The 2025 Annual Forecasts are available for pre-order. Annual Forecasts will be sent via e-mail on January 1st.
The eyes of the world are watching the US election. On Monday, there are five lunar aspects and four planetary aspects. The world is abuzz! On Election Day, Saturn, the planet that rules governments and the status quo ("the way it always was and evermore shall be") is in opposition to Uranus the ruler of revolutions and grassroots movements. (Greenpeace, Amnesty International, labour unions.) And at month's end, Pluto (ruler of countries) enters Capricorn (the sign of governments) for the first time since the 1770s, a time when history gave birth to Canada, the United States and France. "Gentlemen, back to your corners. It's round two." (Of course, Mohamed Ali claims his toughest fight was with his first wife.)
Something with your health and your job or both has become rigid, static and predictable. Furthermore, this predictability is suffocating you in some way. You feel hemmed in by restrictions or the monotony of your job or a feeling of being powerless. You don't have the freedom of action that you really want. This week all this will be tested. You have a chance to undo your chains and step outside your familiar sandbox to test the waters of something new, fresh and certainly different! The result is you might attain greater independence and self direction. "I gotta be my own boss."
Increased responsibilities with children, romantic partners, and your inner struggle of discovering what you really want to do in life are coming to a head now. Perhaps some of these issues are the very things that stand in the way of your future objectives? Or possibly a group of people (or a friend) is creating a situation makes you feel trapped or limited in some way? You want to express your uniqueness, your creative self, and your ability to be exactly who you are. You don't want to be held back by anyone or anything! This polarization of feelings is increasing within you. What you're going to do? Something has to give. (Something more than one more notch in your belt.)
You've been renovating or fixing up where you live or moving to a new place or trying to solidify your home base. You know this is what you need to do at this point in your life. However, relations with a parent, boss or authority figure, or perhaps the calling of your career creates a disruption to what you're trying to do at home. You can't be in two places at once. Marginal efficiency. This struggle really comes to a head this week which means you might face some choices. Regardless of your career calling, you need a home base you can trust -- something that gives you security and happy refuge. Don't jeopardize that.
You've been juggling a lot between residential moves and job changes or the potential of both even if nothing is happening so far. It's unsettling for a sign who likes to be settled. However, as much as you love your security, and the familiarity of your cozy nest, you might be equally as unsettled by the lure of travel to foreign places, and the exploration of other ideas, religions and cultures. For some, promising opportunities in publishing and the media rev your engines. It's unsettling; however, change always is. If you're going to explore anything new -- you have to leave your comfort zone. (Of course, you can wear your favourite cashmere.)
You've been working hard at the onerous task of earning money. At times, this is all consuming! Nevertheless, the degree to which you're working has almost become a familiar habit. In this way, you handle it with grace. (You're certainly not pouting or feeling sorry for yourself.) However, you're wondering about investments, inheritances, shared property, insurance matters and the wealth or resources of others including your partner. You want to introduce new rules that actually give you greater freedom. You want your money and possessions to give you greater power and control over how you want to live.
Since 2005, you're in a new sandbox creating a new world and a new identity for yourself. Naturally, this involves a lot of trial and error because your life is a work in progress. Lately, you feel stifled by certain partnerships and close friendships. You want to make a break for freedom, or alternatively, your current situation could make your partner want to fly the coop. ("So long! And thanks for all the fish!") Because of this some partnerships will end now. Not all, but some. The rest will definitely have to undergo some changes which necessitates a need for some kind of reevaluation. Which totally makes sense when you think about it since the fact that people change means relationships have to correspondingly change Capice? ("We're fatter now.")
You feel increasingly restless. What is quietly building up within you is a kind of rebellion. You might not even be completely aware of this yourself. However, you know you have a growing dissatisfaction with certain things happening around you. There's no point in remaining dissatisfied. Factoid. Therefore, you have to drag these fuzzy feelings out into the bright light of day and clearly define and label them. Once you know exactly what you're dealing with -- you'll know what to do. If you see a change that will benefit yourself and benefit others as well -- no-brainer! Just do it. ("Does this mean we can get the hot tub?")
You've been doing a juggling act lately to maintain your own independence and integrity while at the same time fit in with groups and be part of the gang. Some of you are also dealing with how to gracefully handle the restrictions of children. Once children are in the picture, you cannot always break away and just do your own thing. Children require time, effort, compromise and certainly patience. In fact, the toughest thing about dealing with kids is trying to rise above your own childish responses to life. You're supposed be the adult, right? (Easier said than done.) Oh well, fake it till you make it.
You're living in interesting times. (Aagggh! The Chinese curse!) In many ways, you're at the top of your game right now. You're very powerful; plus you now see what is working and what is not. (Powerful knowledge!) The minute you know something isn't working -- let it go. Don't get hung up on failure. That's just a word and only a POV. Life is all about falling off the horse and getting back up on it again, right? You want to have the freedom of choice. You want your life to stay fluid and flexible. You don't want to be in any kind of situation where you feel trapped. ("Freedom is my middle name!") Something has to give now. It's time to re-assess your life direction.
Travel plans and ideas about exploring religion, politics and other cultures are exciting. Ditto for matters related to publishing, the media, higher education, medicine and the law. You know what your dreams are. You know what you want to do. Nevertheless, the traditional values and expectations of others keep you fettered to a routine that you want to escape from. (Ya think?) The secret is not to throw the baby out with the bathwater. In other words, go ahead and make changes, and explore new ideas and new ways of thinking and living, but do this without destroying what you already have. You can do this if you're careful. (And who is more careful than a Capricorn?)
It's not really your style to be a slave wage. You're a highly independent sign. Nevertheless, some of you do see the freedom that security gives you -- it's kind of an illusion but it's true. Right now you're wrestling with how to earn your money. If you want to be captain of your own fate and master of your soul -- you have to swing in the breeze, which can be disconcerting. On the other hand (you have different rings) a job and a steady paycheck can give you a comfort zone that is nice to rely on but it does have its restrictions and limitations. This is always a hard call for your sign. That's why you need the courage of your own convictions. Just do it.
This is a powerful time because some major planetary activity is taking place in your sign. First and foremost, you represent a time when you are in one way holding on to all that is familiar, safe and predictable while you tentatively put your foot out to tread on ground that is exploratory and full of freedom of action and the exciting unknown. Yikes! For some, this is a time of breakups and relationships ending. For others, it is certainly a message that you need to define your needs and wants and expectations from others. Don't make them guess! Unexpressed expectations always lead to disappointment. Would you tell someone "Buy me some new shoes. You can guess at the size and the colour." Not!
