All Signs
Something to ponder: Pluto rules nations; Capricorn rules governments and the status quo. Pluto represents reform and will use force to obtain what it wants. Pluto was last in Capricorn from 1762 to 1779, the time of the American Revolution and European unrest. (Bastille Day was 1789.) This means the history of Canada and the U.S. was established (roughly) when Pluto was last in Capricorn. (Canada came under British Domain in 1759, and the U.S. declared its independence in 1776.) Next month, Pluto once again returns to Capricorn. It looks like we are now moving into a new era of governments and world economics. And this time there will be three classes of people: the haves, the have nots, and the charge its.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Your month ahead will be unusually intense and possibly even obsessive. You have strong feelings about practically everything! This passion bounces back and forth between the bedroom and your daily schedule, your work and all your communications with others. (Hot times!) You can look forward to breathless, sexy times as well as passionate arguments about shared property and shared responsibilities. Intense discussions about inheritances, insurance matters, taxes and debt are also likely. People will definitely pay attention! Travel for pleasure appeals. Your fundraising skills are great. You'll also see new uses and applications for old items or past ways of doing things.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This is the only time all year when the Sun is opposite your sign. However, this time, Mars is there as well. (Oops.) This means you're focused on partnerships and close friendships and it's likely that these relationships are the source of conflict for you. ("Run away! Run away!") But there is good news. You have a chance to make improvements here. You can work to improve the relationship itself or probably be more successful in improving your own attitude to the relationship. Your expectations and judgments totally colour your experience of others. Once you decide you admire and love someone, it's surprising how fast half of their faults disappear.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Suddenly, something has you by the throat and you're determined to work as efficiently and effectively as possible. You're driving yourself very hard and, if you can, you'll drive others equally as hard because you want to accomplish something. (Sounds good to me, except don't be heavy with others. The Golden Rule ain't "Do other before they do you.")) However, if you're this motivated, you might as well go for the gold. Do what feels right! You'll be pleased at how much you'll accomplish. These new standards that you have set for yourself will also have a ripple effect to your health. You want to take better care of yourself. This doesn't mean you're not playing and flirting and schmoozing, because you are. Partnerships are sweet, loving and tender.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
No matter what's going on around you, you want to enjoy yourself. You feel flirtatious, prankish, playful and in the mood for fun. The arts, the theatre, music, everything connected with show business and the entertainment world plus matters relating to the hospitality industry and sports are your focus now. Some of you will be more involved with playful activities with children. This is a great time to slip away on a vacation. If you can't do that, then party at home. Those of you who are physically active, especially in sports, will be energetic, competitive and driven. Family discussions are involved. Good time for home repairs. Romance with a co-worker could spice things up. Ah yes, there's no time like the pleasant!
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You're very involved with your domestic world now: your home, family and, quite likely, renovations, redecorating and home repairs as well. This figures. Most of you are house-proud. (Natch. You're royalty and your home is your castle.) Unfortunately, all this activity could provoke tension and conflict with family members or anyone else at home. ("Our secret is we never go to bed mad. We stay up and fight.") Actually, lovely flirtations are ripe for the picking right now. New romance can begin. Existing relationships can heat up. Errands and discussions with others keep you busy. You can't help it because you have a lot to say! "Rhubarb, rhubarb, rhubarb."
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Now it's your turn to run around with an outboard motor on your butt! You're busy! "No time to say hello, goodbye, I'm late! I'm late! I'm late!" Fortunately, you're not really going off in all directions. In fact, you're quite focused. You're also extremely convincing, competitive and determined to win right now. You're full of money-making ideas and they're starting to move forward clickety-click. Something with real estate could be favourable. Home decorating also appeals. ("I want baseboards and crown mouldings.") Discussions with siblings are lively. Your main strength is that you're unusually confident, assertive, proactive and convincing. (Where do I sign?)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You're very focused on cash flow, earnings and your possessions right now. For one thing, some of you are actually hemorrhaging money. ("What can I do to stem the flow?") Is there such a thing as a financial tourniquet? Others are out there actively spending money. (You love beautiful things, especially lovely tchotchkes for where you live.) It's a busy pace! You're talking to everyone and revved up with energy, especially mental energy. Fair Venus ensures that you'll be diplomatic and charming with everyone. Exchanges with siblings might be particularly warm and cozy. Some will make money from contracts, writing, plus wheeling and dealing. Think about what it is that you really want.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Oh, powerful Scorpio. We bow down before thee. The source of all energy, the Sun, and fiery, warlike Mars are both in your sign. Even without this double hit of energy, you were not exactly milk toast. All hail Scorpio! Do whatever you need to do to recharge, replenish and restore your energy. Get more physical exercise. This will help to release pent-up feelings that could be building up about something. Your finances are improving. Expect to be spending money on beautiful things for yourself and loved ones. Secret back-room deals are still percolating on the back burner. Your left hand doesn't know what your right hand is doing.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Lay low and play it very cool right now because you're "waiting" for your birthday month to come, when you will step out on centre stage bowing to the footlights. Until then, work alone or behind the scenes. In fact, mucho secret activity is going on right now. (You little devil.) Fortunately, fair Venus is in your sign and everyone thinks you're innocent, charming, dare we say compelling? (We did.) Long-range plans are now starting to gain momentum because Mercury retrograde is over. You're not really out of the woods until after Halloween but things are so much better now! At this stage in your life you can clearly see what is working and what is not.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
All kinds of group activities are on the menu for you. Enjoy good times with others. Sports, gym and dance classes and physical events totally appeal to you now. Be patient with a friend because conflict with someone is likely right now. (Remember that you're a perfectionist. Lighten up a little. This ain't a perfect world.) The best thing you can do right now is to redefine, examine and tweak your long-term goals for the future. Connect with your dreams and your secret wishes. Let them guide you in your goal-making process. Maybe you can't be James Bond but you can buy a more expensive gin and have your martinis shaken, not stirred. Eh wot?
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
This is the only time of year when the Sun is at high noon in your chart. This has the effect of acting like a spotlight on you. In particular, it makes you look inexplicably better, whereby you impress parents, teachers, bosses and VIPs. (Good lighting is everything.) Since Mars is also at the top of your chart, your ambition is aroused! This combo obviously tells you that now is the time to act. Get on with whatever you want to do because people will step aside when they see you coming. The powers that be are ready to welcome it. On top of this, fair Venus is moving away with friends and groups. Your schmooze factor is very strong. It's time to trip the light fantastic.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
You're gripped by wanderlust fantasies. "Lemme outta here!" You want to travel, you want to expand your horizons, you want to learn more about the world, you want to further educate yourself, you want answers to big questions, you want new clothes, new shoes and better luggage so you can escape somewhere to a room with an impossibly beautiful view and spectacular room service.
