All Signs
There's a strong specific influence because the Sun, Mercury, Mars and Saturn (count 'em -- that four planets) are all in Virgo, which highlights two areas: work and health. Virgo always wants us to pull our act together. It urges us to work more efficiently, more carefully in order to get better results. Part of this efficiency relates to how healthy we feel while we do whatever we're doing. Whereas Scorpio relates to sickness (hospitals, surgery and the medical profession), Virgo rules the intestines and is all about wellness and prevention of sickness. Drink water! Eat fruits and vegetables. Reduce harmful habits. That's the current message. (For me -- "waste not, want not" has become "want not, waist not.") Aaaggh!
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You're gung-ho to work hard right now in order to get better organized in every aspect of your life. You adore new projects. You do all kinds of artsy and crafty things, and never hesitate to tackle new ways of creating something. Naturally, this involves material and tools, which means you have to be organized or your life is a headache. Plus you have to find some place to hide everything so that your unfinished projects aren't so glaringly obvious. Now is the time to grip shelving, filing cabinets, and whatever you need to be on top of your scene. At the same time, think what you can do to feel healthier and more energetic. Hmm? Get some exercise by taking back all those empties.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
If you like what you're doing, you're hard-working. And all these planets in Virgo encourage practically everyone to work hard. But ha! Here's the paradox: for Taurus this celestial hit of Virgo makes you want to play! (Go figure.) This is the perfect time for a vacation or increased interest in sports and recreational activities. The arts, the theatre, movies, show business, the entertainment world, resorts, hotels and theme parks all appeal to you. Naturally, love and romance will flourish as well! (Kiss-kiss, hug-hug.) Treat yourself to some serious fun. Good food, good wine, good sex and great room service are what you deserve right now. Any problems with this?
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You're busy on all fronts because you want to play, flirt and pursue creative projects, sports and fun stuff. Nevertheless, surrounding circumstances dictate that you focus on home, family and domestic situations. Rats! Your involvement with a parent could be paramount. Or perhaps it's just that you're buying and selling property or renovating and fixing up where you live? This would be entirely appropriate because the biggest message the heavens are sending you this year is: Establish your home base! You need a solid base of operations to give you a warm feeling in your tummy. Once this is settled you will sally forth and conquer the world. ("What's for dinner?")
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This is a busy time. You're not that keen about this insane pace but you have no choice. Short trips, increased time with relatives (especially siblings), wheeling and dealing, buying and selling, running errands as well as increased conversations with everyone plus additional reading, writing and studying keep you gasping for air. Will it ever end? Not this month. Batten down the hatches. Chaos and increased activity at home promote domestic tension. Naturally, this combo is also an accident waiting to happen; therefore, keep your wits about you. Don't lose it. Even though you're busy, slow down and be extra-aware of what you're doing and what you say to everyone. You owe this to yourself.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This gaggle of planets in Virgo highlights your financial scene. You're very aware of your earnings, your cash flow, your possessions, and how you're spending your money right now. You want to take care and maintain certain things you own, and this requires time and energy. Factoid. Now is the time to prioritize and make lists of what you want to do so what you own runs efficiently and is protected against decay, erosion, abuse and loss. This applies to your bedroom closet, your house, your car -- whatever. It's curious: you work hard to earn money; then you work hard to spend it; then you work hard to maintain what you end up owning. Shee! What's wrong with this picture?
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
It's all about you, dear Virgo! The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn are all in your sign. This means you're very serious about whatever you're doing, and yet, at the same time, auspicious opportunities and important people are at hand to help you as you begin an entirely new cycle in your life. Older Virgos can hearken back to around 1979 because that's the last time this cycle began. This is major stuff! Whatever you do involves a considerable outlay of money right now, so there's lots of activity to your cash flow. (However, you're working hard to earn it as well.) This could be why you're impatient with restrictions from others, especially in partnerships. You want enough freedom and space to breathe!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You're best served now by lying low in the weeds. Work behind the scenes or work alone because you'll have a hard time getting credit for what you do now. However, there's another reason to keep your cards close to your heaving bosom. Your birthday is approaching, which means your new year is about to begin. Ideally, you need time to think, strategize and plan out what you want this new year to hold for you. Look back over this last year. What kind of report card would you give yourself? How do you want your new year to be different from your last year? Now is the time to plan for what you want. (Hey, it wasn't raining when Noah built the ark.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This is a very popular month. Everyone wants to see your face. Friends, clubs, groups and organizations make demands on your time. You'll enjoy the company of younger people as well as creative, artistic types. In fact, your greatest challenge is to find a balance between socializing and working with groups and at the same time, be able to maintain your own independence and personal integrity. You can't let others own you! Nevertheless, you want to be co-operative. This is a tricky combo: co-operation versus selling out. Your long-term goals and dreams for the future are also extremely important right now. Throw away that existential map that has "You are here" all over it. You have to know where you're going.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This cluster of Virgo planets is at high noon in your chart, which is very high viz! People notice you and are aware of what you're up to, especially bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs. The good news is they're impressed. (Good lighting is everything.) In fact, some might strike up a romance or a flirtation with an authority figure. (Practical nurses marry rich doctors.) Sports and group activities keep you active but an underlying current of independence makes you kinda rebellious. You want to be free of responsibilities, possessions and places that tie you down. Unfortunately, this is easier said than done. Nevertheless, maintain as much freedom of action as you can. And if something isn't working anymore, let it go.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Life is becoming more exciting -- there's no question about this. You now have a wonderful chance to explore travel opportunities, new places, schools, classes, higher education, foreign countries, unusual ideas, religions and political or philosophical concepts. (What we learn with pleasure we never forget.) Grab every chance to travel or expand your horizons through learning something new. You're ambitious to achieve something now. This is a strong month for you because all of these earthy Virgo planets work beautifully with your earthy Capricorn Sun -- and on top of that, moneybags Jupiter is still in Capricorn! Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Your gonads are in overdrive. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
All this activity in Virgo is directly opposite your sign -- we're talking 180 degrees. This can be good and bad. The good news is you'll enjoy good times with partners (especially sexually) and friends. You feel amorous and indulgent. You'll love splurging on delicious food and drink. You'll focus on partners and close friends and important discussions. The not-so-good news is it your partner or you yourself suddenly demands more freedom and independence. Or you might feel bored with the familiar and start to scan the horizons for provocative playmates. But do you really want to risk something solid for a mere bonbon? Think about it.
