All Signs
This week the big action is with Mercury, the planet of communications. First Mercury makes an aspect with serious Saturn, then with fiery Mars, and finally with lucky Jupiter. Since Mercury is all about talking, planning and our daily activities, this is obviously a week full of busyness; changing, lightning-like thoughts; long-range serious plans; and exciting enthusiasm about something. It's a happening time! Mercury not only describes how we communicate, it describes how we perceive our world. We don't see things as they are. We see things as we are.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
It's important to remind yourself what a timely year this is for you so you can use it to your best advantage. The luckiest influence possible is the highest it will ever get in your chart this year. (This happens once every 12 years.) "And now, let's hear it for Juuuupiterrr!" Make the most of this by milking it for all it's worth. People suddenly notice you and your talents as if they never saw them before. You have the feeling that you're being discovered. Everyone thinks you're fabulous. Accept public recognition, a promotion, esteemed respect from your peers, and perhaps work-related travel. You're stylin'!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Taurus people take more vacations than other signs for one reason: they love their homes. And they want their homes to be beautiful, calm and orderly. Does this ring a bell, Pavlov? That's why you go someplace else to be wild and crazy! You know that while you're having fun, everything is just as you left it back home. This year you're travelling! You also have marvellous opportunities with publishing, the media, medicine, the law and higher education or training in some way. Because you'll be exposed to a broader view of the world, your views will change. You'll have to let go of old prejudices and beliefs. ("Hey, I can't fit into these anymore!")
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
The word karma in Sanskrit actually means "activity." Therefore, the law of karma is simply the law of activity, which is cause and effect; seed and result. This year your sign is getting a big karma payoff. To the extent that you have been generous in the past, life will now be generous to you, especially via partners and close friends. Many of you will inherit, or benefit from the wealth of others, or have advantages because you can use things that other people own. Insurance matters, taxes, debt and disputed property agreements will go your way. (We hope.) You're blessed this year! Ka-ching!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Once every 12 years, lucky Jupiter sits directly opposite your sign. Because Jupiter is associated with good fortune and expansion, many of you will marry or enter into committed partnerships. All your partnerships and close friendships will benefit. This is not a year to go it alone; you need the assistance of others. Even professional help will be beneficial - lawyers, doctors, consultants and counsellors. Jupiter rules foreign countries so you might encounter people from other cultures, especially in new relationships. The people you hook up with now will be older, richer and more established. (What a great labour-saving device!)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is a curious year. People often view you as dramatic, social and party-loving. And you are. But what people don't know is how serious you are. You just tend to keep this side of yourself private. This year you're amazed at what's happening with your job (and possibly your health). Things are changing. But the change will be for the better, trust me. You'll either get a better job or, if your boss is the wicked witch of the North, a house will fall on her. Even if you don't change your job or get a better boss, you'll change your attitude. Suddenly, you're turned on! You're enthused about what you're doing. It's a relief to discover how rewarding your work can be. Thank gawd!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You're one of the luckiest signs of the zodiac this year because you have more opportunities for romance, flirtatious affairs, vacations, sports, and playful activities with children. Many of you are expanding your life through children. Virgo artists are productive because not only are you brimming with ideas, but because opportunities come to you to explore further work and demonstrate your talents. This is operative for all this year and a good part of next year. Yay! But the most important opportunity is the chance for personal growth and increased wisdom. You're experiencing greater freedom of self-expression. You won't hide anymore: "It's me - I'm coming out! How do you like me so far?"
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
This is a rewarding year for you because no sign is affected by their surroundings more than you. Ghastly lighting, bad smells, and squalor will make you physically sick. You need beauty, balance and harmony in your physical surroundings. This year and next (depending on when you were born) you have the best chance in more than a decade to buy real estate, sell real estate, and improve your domestic world and home scene. You'll delight in redecorating and beautifying your digs. Once you create a beautiful home environment, you feel free to sally forth and conquer the world. And why not? At the end of the day, you have a beautiful retreat in which to enjoy a nice Merlot with some apple and Havarti.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You're busier than a one-armed paperhanger. Primarily, this is because you're increasing the number of contacts you encounter on a daily basis. Perhaps this is happening because some of you are getting advanced training or taking courses. Relationships with siblings and relatives are positive and busier. However, perhaps the biggest thing that's changing is your daily thought pattern and attitude. You're becoming more tolerant, understanding and generous. Similarly, your plans for the future are becoming larger and more expansive. You're starting to see many limitations were actually self-imposed. You are the Key Master and the Gate Keeper. Oy!
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Your astro chart is like a pizza (12 slices). "No anchovies." Because the cycle of moneybags Jupiter takes about 12 years, each year it slides over one of those pieces. ("Do you want pineapple on your half?") This year and into next year, depending on when you were born, your earnings are amped! Most of you should be able to boost your earnings this year and next. And similarly, you'll all be spending way more money this year and next because you're probably increasing your assets. "Show me the money!" However, to put a finer point on it, what you manifest in your life in a greater way now is what you most value. If it's money, your earnings will increase. But it might be more spiritual or related to justice. It's kinda tricky. Capiche?
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Virgos might be having lots of fun, but your benefit this year is complete, total and self-absorbing. "Slip the juice to me, Bruce." After all, this year, for the first time in 12 years, lucky Jupiter is in your sign! This week in particular you're going to be doing a lot of thinking about a lot of things, especially relationships, partnerships, travel and education to name just a few. Because of these decisions, a little self-scrutiny is in order. This is the beginning of a major cycle of growth for you. But it's a fortunate time because all kinds of opportunities, resources and people are drawn to you. Basically, it's a lucky year! That's why you feel your confidence growing and you have more poise and style. "Eat your heart out, lemmings."
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
A lot of what is happening to you is happening very internally, very privately and quietly and only you know about it, even you're not aware of everything that is taking place. "Helloooo? Anyone at home?" This year it all might seem rather low-key. That's because it is the spiritual and religious dimension that is growing within you. ("Feels very strange under my left armpit.") However, this kind of growth is the most important of all and will change your future in the biggest and most eventful way. Why? Because the changes you're undergoing this year and next will influence your mind and your value system, which in turn influence your choices, and it is your choices that create your future, hence your life.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
You popular little bunny! Can I tickle you under the chin? People love you this year! Don't question why. Don't waste time thinking about it. Just accept the fact that people want to be in your presence, and they want you to join their club. Therefore, join the club! Explore membership in classes, clubs, organizations and all kinds of group dynamics. Schmooze with others and discuss your long-term dreams and goals for the future. Why do I often say this? (Because I can't think of anything else.) Because the influence at play right now means that (a) you should give serious thought to your long-term goals and (b) the input of others can help you. Do the math. Share your dreams for the future with others and get their feedback.
